Extremely Disappointing Experience - Buyer Beware I have never had a worse experience with a dealership than with BMW McKenna in Norwalk. I purchased what was supposed to be a Certified Pre-Owned 2023 BMW with an extended warranty in November 2024, expecting peace of mind and quality service. Instead, the vehicle has turned out to be a complete lemon -- it has been in the service department over 20 times in less than a year, often for extended periods, with recurring issues that never seem to be fully resolved. This was almost after the purchase of a CASH full payment and $5k for extended warranty on this vehicle. The warranty has not been honored. This is my 5th BMW and only Mckenna sold me a LEMON DO NOT COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of accountability from management. The owner publicly offers his contact information for customers to reach out if they need to elevate concerns -- yet despite countless calls, emails, and even in-person requests, there has been zero response. I have spent more time in service bays and loaner cars than actually driving the vehicle I purchased. For a brand that prides itself on luxury and precision, this level of customer neglect is unacceptable. I strongly advise potential buyers to think twice before purchasing from BMW McKenna Norwalk. My wife was ready to trade in her X2 for a 230i. She found the exact one she wanted here with the team, and to my surprise it was offered with more amenity than expected. I reached out and mentioned to Memo that we were interested and would be stopping by to check it out. Without hesitation or doubt, Memo said he'd have the car ready for us to check out on arrival at noon. He did advise us that he had a client stopping in at noon but that he would have his colleague assist us if his initial client was there. Cool. We pulled up and the 2 was ready. I stepped inside the dealership and was immediately greeted by Memo. We knew we'd be driving off with the car and went through the motions. Memo took my wife for the test drive and as soon as they returned we got to business. It was a short staffed day so Memo attended another of his client's while our deal was being reviewed by his manager Henry (completely understandable). Memo mentioned to us that he'd assist his other client who arrived a bit after 12 but that as soon as he returned he'd finalize our deal. A few minutes had passed so I decided to approach Henry myself and see where things were. Without hesitation Henry and I discussed the offer for the trade in, the numbers for the new 2 and we agreed on the price. At that point it was just finalizing the deal and signing. Without boring you with all the details, Memo, Henry and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make this experience a great one. Many dealers say they're great, this one proves it with their actions. In all we were there maybe 2.5 hours. Tip: be ready, willing and able to make a deal when you go to the dealership. Do your research ahead of time and be realistic with your budget, trade facts, and finances. Ask for Memo and Henry! read more

My car had a recall on it. I called to set up an appointment. Took the person 20 minutes to show up and then he told me to leave because he said they had to order the part. Then he called back and told me to come again because they need to run diagnostics and he assured me that I would have a rental car. When the paper work was done he took me over to an area to get a car and said it would be 15-20 minutes and there were already other people waiting and no one there. Told me if they didn't have a car there he would find one elsewhere, then he disappeared. I ended up taking my car and leaving, will not be back. read more

I'm on my second BMW purchased at Mckenna and I have always had a great experience when it came to having to service my vehicle. That all changed recently when having to have the vehicle looked at for two issues. My service lead was Raymond- he quoted a job at $800, never provided a work order and could not answer my questions when i asked why the vehicle was having the issue it was having outside of "standard wear and tear". I declined the service, showed up to get my car, and he handed it over without having it washed (one of the issues was taken care of). He declared he handed it over that way since i didn't advise i was coming in to grab the vehicle which was a complete fabrication (have a text thread to prove otherwise). The vehicle was in their possession for an entire week and he mentioned it took that long as they were waiting for parts--- not sure what parts since NOTHING was replaced.... Grabbed my vehicle, made an appointment at BMW BUENA PARK and had the issue resolved in less than 24 hours and at 30% less cost than what was quoted here. Someone was clearly trying to hit their number for the month. Unfortunate experience all around. read more

Came in a little early for my service appointment, I was told that my advisor was still at lunch and I should just wait in my car. My appointment was at 1 pm and when it passed, I waited another 15 minutes to check as to where was my advisor. I was told that he was still at lunch, and they are just assuming that he would be back at 1:30. Well 1:30 passed and still there was no advisor nor was there anyone that should be covering him. why is the system showing and allowing you to make an appointment but there is no one there to assist your help at that time? I could not even find a person to complain to as I was told that the manager was in a meeting and all other advisors were at lunch. Needless to say, I was very frustrated and left without having the service done. I have learned my lesson not to come back here even if it's the closest to my house. I will drive to Tustin or to other BMW service centers that I've been to where I have been treated better. PLEASE fix your service scheduling system, no guest should be waiting without a proper explanation from the service department on why there was a delay. Also as this is about customer service, guests should be asked to wait in the lounge area and not just wait in their car especially if they had been waiting a while. read more
