Wendy was our server and she was our saving grace to this visit. I was so excited to visit Guy's Flavortown. It was for my birthday and we're visiting from out of town. Our server was on top of it with drinks. Food came out quickly and very hot. But thats pretty much it. My kid and I had orders of the "famous trash can nachos" and they were so bland, and the chips were stale and hard to eat. My husband had the bacon mac and cheese burger. Completely lacking flavor. His fries were also overcooked and stale. Our server was so sweet and offered me some playing cards for my birthday. We had a better time with that than actually enjoying the meal that was the point of our visit. It was super clean in the restaurant though. Bathrooms were well taken care of and clean as well. The ambiance is noisy with adults knocking children away from the arcade games. Truly a sad experience on every level. This place is great! The prices are a little steep but the flavor is AH-mazing! First the vibes of the place are so cool. It is bright and spacious.we didnt play any video games we just ate food....which was so good. I had the bbq nachos....so much flavor and smokey flavor in the bbq sauce. Like a flavor bomb going off in ur mouth. I was a little disappointed in the amount of meat that was on the nachos. Too little. The burgers were great. The meat so flavorful. A little disappointed the fries were kinda old and warm tasting not hot The server was kind, personable. We sat right in front of the kitchen and by the looks of it the kitchen ran great...staff seemd friendly and not stressed out. the food is good and fresh as always. we ordered the steak sandwhich and it was a great steak sandwhich. it had crispy fried onions, melty cheese, and steak served on a buttered hoagie roll with fries. we also got the phat fries. they had melty cheese, pork, chili, pico, and shredded cheese. while they were good i don't think i'd order them again with all the other fun stuff on the menu. the nashville hot chicken trashcan nachos were definitely the star of the show! they were amazing. nachos topped with nashville hot chicken tenders, fries, pickled onions, pickles, ranch and melty cheese. these were the bomb !! i can't do too spicy and these were about medium spicy to me. i think the ranch helps tame the heat. the service was amazing. our waitress was very helpful and attentive. the ambiance was incredible. we were sat in a "speakeasy" type area i had never knew existed until this trip it was a small room with maybe 8 2 top tables, a couch, bar, and dart board. it was so cute, cozy, and fun. read more

Well, had to come visit Guys flavorTown. Awesome place to come spend a nice time with the family. The arcade is spacious and well stocked with games. Bowling alley, "Nice". Now to the brass tax, the vitles ( we are in Appalachia ) was not bad (if your looking for bar food) Now you have to understand that Guy is always referencing "Downtown Flavortown" so I expected a different menu. We had the Chicken Wings and a bowl of chili. The sauce on the not crispy wings was amazing. The bowl of cheese that we were served had some chili in it but to be honest, what chili was there (shaking the spoon has a whole new meaning) tasted like I've had it before, oh yea SYSCO. So in closing, a very nice place to visit have some fun with family and so so bar food. Oh yea and a bit pricey !! read more

Luis was our server and he is the only reason this place is getting ONE star. Luis was attentive - and from his reaction when my mom's food was terrible, he's seen it more times than not. We were not charged for the ribs or wings. The bad - everything we ordered. Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger $21.95: Looks can be deceiving - based on the picture (included), this burger should have been awesome. Sadly, the burger had no flavor and one texture: MUSHY!! For someone who tours the country tasting food and making recommendations, Guy should start with his own place. There was NO seasoning on the burger. The mac-n-cheese on the burger was mushy. Finally, the bacon on the burger was not cooked fresh, as evidenced by congealed fat on the bacon. At least throw it on the grill or in the microwave and heat it up!! My mom ordered the American Royal Ribs $28.95 (half slab): ribs should be tender; either fall-off-the-bone or fork-tender. My mom had to ask for a steak knife to cut the meat off the bone. The meat was tough and flavorless. The dried out ribs were returned for Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ Wings $16.95. The wings were also bad - seemed to be a few days old. Additionally, they were slathered with sauce to the point you could not find the meat. The wings were also returned. In my opinion........ Be careful while watching Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives because if Guy can't provide edible food in his establishment, then how can he make a proper recommendation? read more

We've seen the billboards and finally came inside to eat. Walk in and give your name at the Check-in Counter. Then look around the store or take selfies with Guy's statue while you wait to be seated. Server, Brian, was helpful and kind. Supposedly, the kitchen was just fixed and now serving the full menu. I ordered The Real Cheesy burger: cheddar cheese, SMC (super melty cheese that's actually just a piece of cheese), lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and donkey sauce on a garlic buttered brioche bun (just a plain bun). I asked if they have lettuce instead of bread for the burger and was told no. So I asked to have the bun on the side. They did this but also left off ALL the toppings! For almost $20 they gave me a burger patty with a piece of cheese, bun, and a mixture of fries. Thankfully, Brian noticed the error and went back and brought out a small plate with the missing toppings: shredded lettuce, tomato slice, onion slice, pickles, and donkey sauce (mayo). It's very noisy inside because half of the interior is games with a bar that separates the dining room. From the time we checked in and waited 10-15 minutes to be seated, ordered our meal and received our food was over 45 minutes. This was for lunch on a Thursday during Fall Break. Most of the dining area tables were empty. Not very busy. Two stars is being generous. Most likely will not return. read more

Let's start with the better...the arcade. There were lots of games and not terribly overpriced. If you're going to tickets, do the crane one for rings of points. All the games were working which you typically would find a few broken ones. The prices were okay with high prices. Not much for the kiddos that have less than 300 points. Next is the meh...the food HARD PASS!! The prices are beyond outrageous. We had gotten entree vouchers when we bought game tokens, waters, and our bill was still $100 (with tip). The ribs were overdone and swimming in sauce. The trashcan nachos were more for the "reveal" but there were more chips than anything else so when they took off the sleeve it kinda just stood there. The Mac and cheese as an entree was actually incredible. Skip adding anything; totally ruins it. The side of Mac and cheese is NOT the same. The wait was an hour to be seated on a Monday night. My Wife and I came here on spur of the moment as we walked around the plaza. The place is enormous as it has a restaurant, arcade, and a bowling alley. It has a lot going on with decorations and I didn't have high hopes as I figured this'll just be a mediocre meal. I was very wrong. Firstly, our server, Wendy, was fantastic. She was very friendly and she made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the Awesome Pretzel Bites. They came in a small skillet and had cheese, fondue, a bacon-maple aioli, and Parmesan bacon. My Wife and I were both surprised as the it was really tasty. The fondue cheese and aioli really made the dish fantastic. My Wife got a cheeseburger and the patty was thin and reminded me of something you'd get at a greasy spoon diner, and I mean that in a good way. The fries were really crispy and well seasoned. I had the Old Skool Steak Sandwich that was really good. The steak was sliced hanger steak that was cooked to preferred temperature, and it had Carmelo Ed onions, peppers, crispy onions, and donkey sauce (some sort of seasoned mayo) and the steak was tender and tasty. Again, I was totally surprised at the meal quality. We ended with an ice cream sundae that I can't remember the name of, but it was huge. It came with a firework on top, plenty of whip cream, fruit, and chocolate sauce. Again, I was pleasantly surprised. I'd happily come back here if this is the standard food and service quality. Update: My Wife and I made one more stop here while on our vacation and I do feel like I need to adjust the score. I got the same sandwich, and it was good, but it wasn't as good as the first one. The server was good, but she didn't ask how I'd like the steak cooked, it came out well-done, and again, it was good, just not as good. This experience was confusing from the beginning. When we checked in, we were given a wait time of one hour. Even though we were starving, Guy is one of my favorite celebrities, and I trusted that it would be worth the wait. Strangely enough, I received a text that our table was ready only 10 minutes later. Moving on, I don't know if there was a staffing issue or what, but our server was very flustered. She forgot our napkins at least three times that I asked. What a fun spot with great food!! I mean, if you're gonna call it flavor town, it better be good right? Of course, we ended up here because of the TV show, but it really did exceeded expectations. The inside did give me a little Vegas vibe because it was so flashy and fun. They had a really great merch store with everything you can think of from flavor town as well as plenty merchandise with Guy's face on it! I couldn't resist and bought a few things to take home as gifts. I had the wings and they were outstanding. Super crispy and lots of sauce. They were topped with onion, straws, and thin, sliced scallions, which really set the flavor up a notch. Afterwards, I checked out the bowling they charge by the hour and it's super reasonable. I had never bold quite like this but I really enjoyed it. No need to get those nasty bowling shoes because you can wear your own shoes. The bowling lane is lots shorter than a regular lane and the pins are smaller. The pins are all attached to a string for resetting and you get three balls per round and the electronic scoring, makes it super easy to keep up with. If you score 100 you get a flavor town duck. My wife and I had a very disappointing experience at Flavortown in Gatlinburg. We sat at the bar for over 15 minutes without any acknowledgment whatsoever--no greeting, no menu, no explanation that they were busy, not even an offer of water. Being busy is understandable; being completely ignored is not. After waiting far too long, I approached the bartender to let her know we had been sitting there for a while. Her response was that she "was not the only one working," which came across more as an excuse than customer service. A simple acknowledgment or a brief explanation would have gone a long way, but instead the interaction felt dismissive and rude. The experience upset my wife enough that she wanted to leave. On our way out, we spoke with a manager named Josh, who did apologize and offered for us to return so he could personally serve us. I appreciate his effort, but by that point the damage was done. My wife was not comfortable returning after how we were treated at the bar. Unfortunately, first impressions matter, and this one missed the mark completely. We expected much better. read more

The waiter was kind and handled all my needs. I decided to check out their bowling area. It's a mini lane with pins on strings. I did it for two games and was told as long as I scored 90 I would get a prize. I took pictures of our scores and showed it to staff. I was told I needed 100 to get a prize. After getting irritated once again with the lack in customer service I was given a prize. Next we decided to try the arcade claw machine section. That was a waste of money. Never saw a single person win anything while we were there. My group usually leaves with several items from claw machines and zero at this place. Overall the wings were good. We were so excited to come to this restaurant as we enjoy Guy Fieri very much. We didn't have a long wait on a Saturday evening. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded. We were seated and left for about 25 minutes before the waitress arrived to start our order. The food came maybe 30 minutes later we had no utensils no water offered and two of our dishes were not brought and two others completely wrong. The waiter that delivered our food even tried to give us a meal that was meant for another table when we inquired about the missing food. Our waitress checked in maybe 10 minutes from our food. The food that did arrive was cold and basically just awful. The steak sandwich was pretty much deli meat and inedible. We will not visit a restaurant that a celebrity chef sells his name to ever again . For the price of the meal and the quality of the food we could have gone to a family restaurant in the area and had a good hearty meal! I would review by giving 1 star but the arcade section for the kids was good and the kids did enjoy that. read more

This place is definitely an experience. I enjoyed my time here. I ordered the Smoked Pork Trashcan Nachos. It was really good. What I would do differently next time is to stir them up a little to get a little of everything in a bite. When I saw the site made nachos I just dug right and enjoyed every minute of it. I am a big eater and couldn't finish it, so I ended up leaving a lot of the real good stuff on the plate because I was full. The waiter was quick and attentive, no complaints with the staff. The fries were average, the burger was average, and for a place that "pushes" the sauces you do not get sauces on the table. Being locals My husband and I came here today celebrating our 40 th wedding anniversary and once again we received the best service ever and tasty meals . Michelle was our server and was a sweetheart and gave us such great service ! I highly recommend her as a server as she is the absolute best ! We sat near the kitchen and watched the employees prepare food and it was beautiful to see how amazing they all got along , smiling , laughing and just having a great time while working .
