After we were seated and had already ordered drinks, our waitress casually informed us that the restaurant was completely out of both chicken and steak--two of the main proteins on the menu. Several people in our group were forced to scramble and change their orders after already deciding what they wanted, which set the tone for the rest of the evening. We were then told that the nachos and Caesar salad could still be made using "different chicken." That was a huge mistake. Whatever was served was absolutely disgusting--rubbery, foul-tasting, and borderline inedible. I genuinely questioned whether it was even chicken at all. It was so bad that I wouldn't have fed it to my dog. Multiple people at the table stopped eating altogether. To make matters worse, the service was just as awful as the food. Our waitress did not provide refills for a select few people at the table and completely disappeared for long stretches of time. When our meals were clearly unfinished and untouched, she didn't ask if anything was wrong, didn't apologize, and didn't even offer a to-go box (not that anyone would've wanted one). To add insult to injury, automatic gratuity was included on the bill simply because we were a larger party. Being forced to tip for service that was inattentive at best and nonexistent at worst felt incredibly insulting. Between the lack of menu availability, the disgusting food substitution, and the inattentive service, this was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I've had. We left frustrated, hungry, and honestly shocked that this level of quality and service is considered acceptable. I was so excited to give this place a try. We came for dinner on a Sunday night, the hostess told us it will be a 30 min wait, making it as though they were busy, but we said ok. We ended up in the arcade section while we waited, took pics of the cool Camaro they had on display. 6 mins later they said our table was ready. When they sat us, there were no more than 5 families seated, there were empty tables everywhere. This was planned for customers to hit their arcade first to spend some moola which i admit they got us. I also believe those crane games are all rigged but that's just me. In fairness to Flavortown, I knew what I was getting into. When Guy Fieri opens a restaurant, 'healthy' probably isn't going to be on the menu but I wasn't expecting the arcade games attached to the restaurant- that was new! Service was prompt (if a little disorganized) but we were seated at a booth quickly. It's the menu that threw me for a loop- I'm not a health nut but everything I looked at was fried, smothered, or covered in butter. Those aren't bad qualities at all! But after a few days of Pigeon Forge food, I was hoping for something a little fresher. Something that grew out the ground maybe? The place has a fever dream/food truck/carnival vibe, but overall is fun. We didn't have kids with us, but I'd imagine it's heaven for parents who want to let the kids loose in the arcade area while adults grab a drink and some fries. read more

I might be naïve, but I'm sorely disappointed that the food here represents a celebrated chef...or culinarian. Took our grandkids there. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best, the entire meal was 5, at best. The expensive hamburgers were so-so. The wings were really good. The fries were like anywhere else...fries. We had 2 of the 10-inch pizzas. They were--on the scale--a 2, at best. I had a pepperoni pizza. Pretty hard to screw up a pizza, but this one was below a Tony's pizza one can buy at Walmart. The black "plate" on which the pizza was served smelled like chemicals. Thus, every bite was met with the chemical smell. Crust was overdone, and the pizza itself was really nothing better than a cheap frozen pizza. I have seen Guy's Food Network shows on a few occasions. The "hook" of his shows is his bites into various cooks' creations, and his euphoric reactions to each. He should bite into one of his own pizzas. C'mon, man, your "Flavortown" should be better. As a family, we are MASSIVE fans of Guy. Like, my 6 year old makes me put DDD on the tv all the time. We came here right after it opened and were disappointed but owed it to being new. She picked them off and found the pizza below average. My wife enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich at a level of average and thought the fry basket was simply ok. I made the mistake of ordering the Mac Daddy buffalo chicken sandwich. Priced at $21.95 for a sandwich and fries and advertised as "crispy all-natural hot chicken, buffalo Mac and cheese, smoked bacon, cheddar, pickle, and donkey sauce on a garlic buttered brioche bun". In reality, 2 chicken tenders not dipped in any sauce, pile of thin sliced pickles and a bit of hot sauce underneath, a very small amount of REGULAR Mac and cheese on top, a literal slice of cheddar melted on, 2 pieces of yummy bacon, and a little hot sauce on the top bun. (I asked for no Donkey Sauce) The sandwich sucked so bad I didn't bother finishing it. My wife ordered a Piña Colada and it tasted like it had zero alcohol and something tasted way wrong. Like chemically. They took the Piña Colada off our bill as well as a military discount and it was still $66. It breaks my heart to say but this place is overpriced and the food is below average with bad portions. I'll start off with the positive things about this restaurant. It is incredibly fun to look at. There's an arcade, gift shop, bowling all attached inside. The staff is incredibly nice. It's what you think Guy Fieri would come up with. The chili cheese fries starter was yummy. From what I have gathered, their starters are on point most of the time. I ordered the Chicken Avocado Flatbread and I thought it was pretty good. However, this is where I start to go into the bad parts. I had a side of Mac n cheese and you would think something so simple would be tasty. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great. It was basically pasta with watered down cheese. No taste to it. My husband ordered the Bacon Mac N cheese burger with no donkey sauce (he isn't a fan of Mayo) and the burger looked cool-but again, something simple to make had no flavor to it. The meat itself had no flavor. It's cool to look at and there so many photo ops here, but when it comes down to it, spending all that money on some stuff that can be easily prepared (a burger, Mac n cheese) and it has no taste to it- it just feels like a money grab and disappointment. Welcome to Flavortown where the excitement stops at the door! This place has an awesome look too it, the arcade is great (my kids kept coming back for more $). We were most excited about the Tiki Bar from watching Guy's videos about the bar menu and the tiki mugs and cocktails. When first inquiring about sitting at a table we were told we had to go back to the hostess to be seated. There was not a single person at any of the tables when we arrived but when we asked the hostess to sit there we were told it would be an 1hr and 20 min wait as there were 26 reservations for 140ppl ahead of us waiting. We asked if it was ok to sit at the bar (which was only half full and she said "ok". We then asked if the kids could sit at the bar to which she responded "I don't know". So off we go to the Tiki Bar but first, "Kids, here's some money, go off to the arcade and have fun!". We sit at the bar with intentions of getting the pu-pu platter and some tiki drinks but we're surprised to not get a bar menu at all, but a regular menu I believe that's for the main restaurant. Oh well. We ordered the Vegas Fries and the Jalapeños Poppers since we only plan to be there for 30-40 min. We also get the Thyme and Honey G&T and a Guy Tai. The drinks were good, pretty balanced and flavorful. The jalapeños Poppers were very flavorful and I do recommend. Especially since they weren't fried. The Vegas fries though... big dud at first. When they were put in-front of me I was so disappointed as they didn't look anything at all like they were described. I guess that's what made me google what they should look like and that's when we knew something was wrong. Problem was, it was now busy and it took us about 5 min to get the bartender's attention to get the right sauces (after we ate a bunch cause it was hard not too when you're hungry). Finally she brought out the blue cheese dipping sauce and with the hot sauce, once that was added to it, it became a real good dish! We wolfed that all down and asked about getting a Tiki mug, which you would only know they had if you watched Guy or checked there website, otherwise it's apparently a secret. You know what else we found out was a secret????? The bar menu!!!! We were told while paying that the bar menu (that had all the food that we wanted) was by request only!!! What's up with that Guy!! You can't sell Tiki mugs if nobody knows about them (they're nowhere to be seen) and all those awesome bar menu items are just wasted! The place is beautiful though. Bar has great potential to be fun, arcade is bright and energetic. In the end it's a real big disappointment all around except for the kids who had a blast at the arcade. I love Guy but I can't recommend this place at this time for food and drinks. Maybe good for arcade and Guy's merchandise. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch. Everything was delicious and our server was excellent. The atmosphere is fun and kitschy. We split a Hurricane bowl. It was fruity and yummy with just the right amount of taste of alcohol. I abhor when a fruity cocktail tastes of nothing but juice. The rubber duckies were a cute touch. We ordered wings, tuna tacos, and the nachos. The wing sauce was super tangy and unique. It felt very homemade. The tuna tacos were very fresh which was needed amongst the other heavy dishes. My only complaint was that the sauce drizzled on top was too mild, should've been more wasabi-like. The nachos were delicious. The waitress gave us the option of dumping the can ourselves or having her do it. In hindsight I should've asked for an extra side of pico de gallo because the lower portion in the can was lacking anything but meaty, beany chips. As we were leaving, the early dinner crowd was rolling in and it was getting busy fast! I would recommend going around 2/3 like we did. The description tells you everything they are served with. However, it left out the part that says they are smothered in the fondue. I prefer to dip my pretzels. Our waitress was training another waitress, which was fine accept it was confusing because when I asked the experienced waitress questions, she didn't know the answers. This was our first time here, so I had questions about the cocktails and food menu. Our bill was $100 for the two of us which was expensive in my opinion for what we ordered. It smelled very strange and was just an ugly place to be seated compared to the rest of the restaurant. The food was not good. Before we even ordered, our table was ready (within 5 min). Our round booth was comfortable/spacious and perfect for us to converse over dinner. Manny, our server, was awesome. Super friendly, accommodating , patient, helpful. He offered beer suggestions and samples to help me decide on my drink of the night. A shareable at the table -- we started with the trash can nachos which were both fun and delicious. It was a good-size portion which three of us did not finish (probably because we were talking talking talking). For my entree, I got the chicken and waffles. Which was huge. A tower of goodness. Wow. I loved the cornmeal waffle. The two chicken wings skewered under the breaded chicken breast was an interesting touch. A heap of potato fries doused in a yummy sauce. The coleslaw rounded out the flavors nicely. The atmosphere was festive. We didn't partake in the amusement features, but it had all the sights and sounds and smells of a good time. Maybe next time? Ehhhh - go somewhere else for food and drinks honestly. We came here because we love Guy and his show, we also wanted to play some arcade games because we are children at heart lol. We were first told it was going to be a 25 minute wait for a table when we could visibly see 10+ open tables (we got there at an off time about 3:30). We went to the bar so to not wait for a table and there were probably 3 or so couples sitting there, 75% open with one person working the entire bar. We got served fast enough but when my wife ordered a Stella, the gentlemen tasked if we wanted a 16 or a 20oz. My wife chose the 20oz but we were very surprised when we got the bill and that extra 4oz cost us an additional $6 (double the price of the 16oz) because it came with a collectible glass - would have been nice if the guy told us that the 20oz cost double and came with that glass....in other words, this place is like any tourist trap- a complete money grab. Go somewhere else :) Oh it also took us 15 minutes to just pay our tab because they assumed we would use the QR code on the bill but it was not working for us so we just sat there until we finally walked up to the other side of the bar asking if we could pay and leave. It would be similar to a Dave & Buster's if you're not familiar, but the food is upscale very fairly priced and most of all delicious.
