A quick jaunt across the river and I was pulling into the garage and up onto the lift.

I went in there, looking for a brake shoe retainer clip. The girl behind the counter had no idea…read morewhat I was talking about, and kept asking me for my model of vehicle, which is a 1976 Triump Spitfire 1500. Obviously, I own an antique vehicle. I was looking for a three cent part. This girl had no idea what I was talking about, let alone the issue I was having. she was more concerned whether or not I had cut in line , then the issue at hand. I went down the street, where I should've gone in the first place, and the 20 something kid at that store took me directly to the part I needed, and I was in and out in less than five minutes. The girl behind the counter at O'Reilly clearly did not have the tools in her toolbox to assist me, let alone anyone in the general public, aside from scanning a barcode. I won't be returning.

What could improve you ask? How about customer service. I enter the store and I'm the only one in…read morethere other than two people behind the counters. I ask a young woman who was playing on her phone for a couple of different tools that I'm looking for after I've been up and down the aisle for a while, not able to find any. She says go down aisle three or down there. She quickly returns to her phone to play on her phone or text or whatever she was doing. My question is why is she working here when she doesn't even wanna work there? Well, O'Reillys you lost a long time customer. Maybe you should've learned to manage your people better.

I scheduled an appt. to have the wiper fluid tank replaced. They were so considerate and of such…read moregreat integrity they decided NOT to do the work since it's in almost irreparable condition. Marcos informed me where the nearest salvage yard is. And I will be driving my car there tomorrow so I can help the world do away with an obsolete motor vehicle. /Sarcasm

Ive heard great things about Slimmers but all I can say is that I left incredibly disappointed…read more I brought my car in to see about getting the AC fixed, they told me I needed a new radiator and AC unit so I listened and paid 2k to fix it. When I got it back I was super happy because it took about 3 weeks and I needed it back. But immediately after I noticed a lot of HUGE issues, car wouldn't accelerate, wouldn't turn off, wouldn't lock or go into park. I had to get it towed in, and they said they'd take a look at it. The receptionist woman was very unfriendly on the phone and in person, which was shocking because most of their other staff seem very polite. When they had it they said they'd fix it in the next week and it took them about 3 more weeks to get it back to me. Then finally I get it back for the second time, and my door dont open from the outside. I emailed them and told them about this issue and I was not rude or anything but I felt like the email I received back was very unfriendly. When I told them about this they told me not to take it to them if I cant trust them with my vehicle, which seems redundant since they are the reason I dont trust them, when I obviously trusted them enough to bring it there and to give them the opportunity to fix whatever mistake was made. I am a young woman and honestly felt a little taken advantage of and or not taken seriously whatsoever. I also received a couple voicemails saying essentially they didn't know what they were doing and they'd never worked on this type of car before (Hyundai Sonata), so Im not sure what "trust" they expect when they treat their costumers like this. They seem to lack a lot of basic costumer service skills and knowledge. They deal with a huge part of peoples lives (their vehicle) and people are bound to be frustrated when stuff is wrong with their car, so if they dont know how to deal with that they just shouldn't.

Went in a few days ago having some battery issues and Clayton helped me out above and beyond! While…read morechecking out the battery there was some liquid on it, he noticed my serpentine belt was rubbing against the antifreeze/coolant tube. The part was not available at the 6th street store so Clayton sent another employee to get it for me S my car was sure to over heat if I tried. After changing out the tube, he checked the battery said it wasn't holding a charge so he was going to put it on the charger. 4 hours later I came back and he let me know it was done for and he replaced hit. He and another employee also took the time to explain that my alternator needs some highway time to properly charge. Great experience!!

What happened to excellent customer service?…read more I visited this store and was extremely disappointed by my experience with an employee named James. Upon entering the store, I observed James vaping inside the building. As someone who is highly allergic and sensitive to smoke and airborne irritants, I found this extremely concerning and uncomfortable. When customers enter a business, they should be able to expect a clean, professional environment and employees who are willing to provide respectful and helpful service. Instead, my experience with James was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in professionalism. I came into the store expecting assistance, not to be exposed to someone vaping indoors and then treated as though helping me was an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee, Kenneth, was professional, respectful, and willing to assist me with my needs. What happened to taking pride in your job and providing excellent customer service? Employees represent the businesses they work for, and customers remember how they are treated. Based on my experience, James's behavior and lack of professionalism deserve the attention of management. Kenneth deserves recognition for providing the excellent customer service that James failed to provide.
