Decided to try out this Peruvian spot here in Lathrop and I just want to say it's worth a try. Got the lomo saltado and it was packed with flavors! It was made to order and the service from staff was welcoming. Would come back and try more dishes

Their food is AMAZING! The portions are huge and worth it too! It's a small business so the service can be a little slow, but it's definitely worth the wait. It's not easy finding a Peruvian restaurant as good as this one within a hundred miles (and I've tried haha) I've lived in Europe and been around to Peruvian restaurants there and still not found a place as good as this. I absolutely recommend trying the Secco Con Frijoles. Very authentic amazing.

Roast chicken, yucca fries and fried plantains. So good.

The food was incredible. My daughter said it was her new favorite. The portions are huge. They seem a little under staffed but super friendly. Hubby said it's very authentic Peruvian food.

Wherever I travel, I tend to find a Peruvian restaurant in the area, since I am a huge fan of Peruvian food, and I found this place, located near my workplace. When you go in, the setting is like a cafe-style space, but on the right is the dining hall. My only problem with the dining room is the lack of decorations; the atmosphere was simply dull and can definitely make some touch-ups, from the tables to the walls. Although I have tried different dishes from other Peruvian restaurants, my usual go-to dish is the Saltado de Pollo (Chicken Stir Fry). Their dish is tasty and delicious, but the french fries were a bit stale, but that changed when I just dipped them in the main course's sauce. My waiter, presumably the owner, too, was friendly and attentive; we made small talk, as I was paying my tab, and he was an overall pleasant, good guy. Their dishes are pricey, but the portions are generous, so be prepared to spend some hefty amount of money. I think it's definitely worth it, and worth checking out, even if it's once. You probably won't be disappointed.

Dona Tere's Peruvian restaurant is a hidden gem that serves up some of the best Peruvian dishes around. My favorites are the ceviche and Lomo Saltado, which are always bursting with flavor. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience authentic Peruvian cuisine! Service is 10/10, I always have a good time with the family.

I've never had sauce like that! Overall you really can't miss with anything you order. The churrasco ordered by my neighbor looked bomb too. There's plenty of space for large groups which is why Parada won me over instead of Limon which I frequent. There's a lot of parking available and options of outdoor and indoor seating. The menu items didn't particularly catch my eye, and I'd say it seems better for tapas than entrees. A lot of the food tasted overly sweet as well. Overall, everything was decent but not amazing. While customer service was super friendly, I found this the most disappointing aspect of the experience. I had to flag down our server a few times, even with being the only customers inside. We were celebrating my brother's birthday, and our dessert cake was served without any utensils until flagging down another server, who then prompted our table's server to make their way over. RECS: + Empanadas platter ($25) nicely came with one of each flavor for a total of four, and it was very fun to share! I did find it odd for these to be covered in powdered sugar though. Personal favorites were the beef and corn-cheese empanadas! + Fried plantains ($10) were perfectly caramelized and soft + Homemade chips ($6) became a family hit! I believe it's cassava root but not 100% sure
