    Guac n chips

This place has improved a lot since the last time I ate here. Flavors are better and have variety not just one note. Oxtail bowl was amazing just wish it had more meat since oxtail can be light on that. Very tender. Loved all the veggies that came with Lobster corndog, i get it but honestly too breaded. It takes away from the lobster flavor. The chips and guac with pineapple wow i could literally just eat that Pork belly bao tender and melts in your mouth. Winner

Came here for a birthday but they forgot it was a birthday so the birthday girl didn't get her dessert and candle :( But everything else was amazing. Every plate was delicious. What stood out most was the pork tomahawk and oxtail tacos. So so good and I would recommend to anyone. The restaurant was super pretty as were their food and plating. You can tell they really put thought and effort into each detail. Can't wait to come back soon!

Upscale Caribbean-Latino influenced restaurant that is able to accommodate parties of 8 or more. It offers a very relaxing atmosphere. Orders: Lita Oxtail taco $29- the oxtail is braised w/such savory depth that it doesn't need any sauce to complete it. Love the creative macaroni pie added to this taco. In the future I would order the Braised Oxtail to share bc it reminded me of when my grandmother would make this. Dessert: Chocolate Passionfruit Cake $13:FYI:this is a gluten free dessert that is decadently rich w/Valrhona chocolate, Passionfruit sauce & a ganache glaze. WOW! Is how my 1st impression was. I was completely blown away at how rich & curated this was. It was one I'll have to always order when I come back. Loved the ambiance, the food & the neighborhood.

Came here for date night & had a reservation. They listen to your reservation when you request a booth! The restaurant is small but the inside is absolutely beautiful! The cocktails were amazing & the oxtail was friggin chef kiss! I would definitely come back here again for date night

Checked out this place for happy hour and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent, drinks were refreshing and generous! Food had unique flavors that were very tasty. Outside seating is a bonus on a nice day. Reasonably priced happy hour. Will be back.

5 star experience at Lita. I was gifted 2 gift cards recently for Lita. We enjoyed chips and salsa, jerk chicken with mashed potatoes and grilled sprouts. Delicious flavors, attentive service from all staff. Can't wait to enjoy Lita again.

When I'm in the area, I usually just go by here. One day my coworkers were wanting to go out for lunch, so we came here. I'm so glad we did. Service was excellent and the food is delicious. We had the chicken empanadas to start off and they were a perfect bite! I had the steak frittes and I had zero regrets. I love the ambiance here and our server was very friendly and attentive. I don't know what took me so long to come here but I definitely will be back soon!!!

Solid 5/5. Place is absolutely amazing. There are not that many Caribbean/ Trinidad food restaurants in the Bay Area. You have to be on top of your game to stay in business especially in Walnut Creek where there is an abundance of cuisines. The prices here are kinda expensive for the oxtail and steak dishes and others it's not super expensive. There is metered parking and a garage real close by. The menu is wonderful and unique and lets you get out of your food comfort zone to try new things the full bar and open kitchen just adds to the ambiance. Location is on point , not too noisy either to you can hear everyone in your immediate table. Caribbean music and outside seating is another plus . Great place For work meeting or small celebration gatherings like birthdays or graduations. Easy to book a reservation via OpenTable app.

Came here for my sister's birthday with reservations. Reservations highly recommended. The drinks were 10/10. Empanadas was pricey for how many/what you get: 7/10 Oxtails: 10/10 nice flavor Jerk Chicken10/10, not pictured but that was devoured Lobster corndog: my brother ordered because he could, yeah save your money lol Really enjoyed the food, price is higher but not surprising due to the location. However, I'm not sure if I'd be back because the service was not the best. The servers seemed disinterest in us compared to other tables. We had a mix up with the drinks, I asked the server to replace with the correct one. But he awkwardly smiled and said he couldn't.

My girls and I made a reservation for mothers day weekend and was happy that we did! The restaurant is nicely decorated and is perfect for a girls outing or dinner date. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the - seasoned fries (so good & perfect for sharing!!! must get 10/10) - beef empanadas (also very delicious 10/10) - octopus salad (very acidic, barely any octopus :/ 5/10) - jerk salmon bowl (very delicious 9/10) - jerk chicken bowl (my friend ordered this and I tried a piece of chicken, very yummy as well and they give you a good amount of chicken) Overall, we had a wonderful time eating here!

Finally checked this spot off my list! It's been on there for a while, but reservations are hard to snag. We ordered the Mangonada Margarita, black pepper shrimp, and pork belly bao. Presentation across the board was a solid 10/10 everything looked incredible coming out! Flavor-wise, the margarita definitely delivered and was the standout for me. The black pepper shrimp leaned a bit too salty for my taste, and the pork belly bao was unfortunately a little on the dry side. Overall, still glad I went! I'd come back to give the lobster corn dog a try next time.

We visited Lita for our anniversary, and it was our first time dining here. We decided to be adventurous and try something new, and we're so glad we did! We stopped in for a midweek lunch and were immediately impressed by the beautiful, quaint atmosphere. The restaurant has a wonderful Caribbean Latin feel with thoughtful decor that makes the space warm and inviting. Our server, Javier, provided excellent service. He was attentive, friendly, and prompt throughout our visit, making sure we had everything we needed. We tried the Yum-Numb Shrimp, Coconut Curry Chicken Empanadas, the Steak frites, Plantanos and the Taste of Key lime dessert. Every dish was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere made our anniversary lunch a memorable experience. We'll definitely be coming back to Lita to explore more of the menu and try some of the other dishes. Highly recommend giving this place a visit!

Im pleased to hear they do look into these things and try to make things whole. I've been to this restaurant a dozen times since working in alamo in the past. Last time I'm coming here. I placed a phone order for a REGULAR al pastor burrito earlier. The amount of meat was miniscule compared to the beans and rice BTW. When I got there they gal read the tag that had my phone order for a REGULAR burrito. I was charged $17 but with tax it was over $18. I called later in the day and the lady on the phone said the regular is 12.99. Im lactose intolerant so I don't do dairy which the super has. Anyways I find this business practice repulsive and will not be returning. I hope this review gets views and reconsider patronizing at this establishment. Huge thumbs down. They don't seem to value customers. I called them after finding out they did me dirty overcharging me. The employee told me the owner/management was out of town. I reached out to them on instagram in attempt to inform ownership/management of what is happening. The person responding on instagram told me they are out of town. I never got a follow up from them. Who knows if they actually investigated what happened because I didn't get a follow up. I could care less about the extra few dollars they took. If they have an employee intentionally overcharging then they need to correct it. It's simple as that. All the info is in the photo I included in the review if they choose to investigate.
