The fries are your typical thin shoestring style fries. Staff was friendly but it did take awhile during the lunch hour rush to get our food. The weather was beautiful and the patio covered so it was a perfect day for patio dining. You can bring your dog if dining outside, always a nice find. The patio furniture was not comfortable to us. The table had bars on all four sides at just below knee level that did not allow stretching out your legs. Chairs had no padding, not unexpected for patio furniture, but for such an excellent restaurant I'd like better. Our server, Jaz, was prompt, very friendly and checked on us often. Excellent service overall! We ordered a traditional eggs Benedict that comes with smashed potatoes and a pickled kale salad or slaw. The flavors were excellent, the hollandaise sauce seemed to be made fresh as it had a light fresh lemon flavor. The ham excellent as well. The eggs however were overcooked. They were served poached hard. The seasoning was good, but disappointing due to the over cooking. Jaz offered to have more eggs prepared for us, and on another day we might have had the time. The duty manager, Ray, also offered to have them prepared properly, so again, exceptional customer service! Bottom line, we will certainly be back (when we can find parking). It provides a more upscale experience than most of our normal breakfast spots at close to similar prices.

My skillet came with an English muffin with no butter or jelly. I had to ask and they gave me 2 packets of strawberry jelly. I was disappointed they didn't offer or give me any choice. The service was just ok. They were quick to take our order and bring the food but didn't offer to refill our drinks or even water. It cost too much for what you get, mediocre food & service.

Since I didn't have any other plans for dinner I decided to walk over and check it out. On the cashier's recommendation I decided to try the hatch chile burger (yeah, it's Albuquerque after all!) with onion rings and a prickly pear-raspberry drink. I felt like the burger was a pretty standard fast food burger - while large, I don't particularly judge my food by volume. It is nice that they have southwestern flavors, but per the menu it doesn't seem like they are available on smaller burgers. I was happy that the onion rings were battered & fried, rather than those weird breaded rings that seem to be extruded minced onion. They also have a spicy ketchup that isn't really all that spicy but is a nice change from regular ketchup. I was glad to see that they had more than just soda available for drinks. However, I did feel like it was a tad expensive for what it is - I probably won't seek them out even if they do eventually open a franchise near home.

Since I moved here so many eons ago this place has been one of the New Mexico staples right next to Blakes Lotaburger. A personal favorite day to go for me is on Tuesdays. Why? Well it's taco Tuesday every Tuesday there. At a buck forty a pop those bad boys will tame and satisfy even the greatest of hungers. At first glance the taco burger doesn't seem like much but it packs a punch. An all American beef patty snuggled between a slice of cheese, their famous green chili sauce, and lettuce it's a delicious treat. This location does a superb job getting the orders out in a timely manner with excellent customer service. See you next Tuesday Bob's Burgers!
