This is a second review ... or maybe a third…read more. We have used Frost for a few problem appliances throughout the years. When the dishwasher had a whole lot of water in the bottom that wouldn't drain.. well.. great.. just what I need. I live on a second floor apt and I'm very sensitive -overly sensitive to any water that may leak and cause damage to units below me so the anxiety just increases when dealing with water. We have called Frost before and thankfully when we called Wednesday they put us on their schedule for today, Friday. They had all our history, phone numbers, email, everything which made things pretty quick to schedule. They gave us a window of when to expect them and today I received a text with a feature to track how close my technician was to arriving. I also received a call when he was 10 minutes away. My tech's name was Aaron and thankfully he knew exactly what was the problem with my dishwasher. He fixed it, then took the time to show me how to keep it from happening again in the future. He was friendly, professional and provided exactly what we have come to expect every time we have called Frost; consistent, excellent service. The price was just for the service call, nothing extra which was great. I've learned you can never rely on just a friend or a neighbor to come by an "take a look" in order to do you a favor when it comes to the stuff in your home. I've learned not to waste my time, money or put my home or neighbors home in danger by not getting professionals the first time around. My husband repairs everything in our home. He was an engineer. He's replaced parts, torn apart assemblies, poured through service sheets and the internet and has been unable to fix this issue. We were hesitant to call anyone, because we had a bad experience years ago, where another appliance repair group told us on the phone that it would be a $250 charge to come to our house to diagnose a problem on our washing machine, and then if they could fix it, the repair cost of parts and labor would probably be over $500, on top of that diagnosis fee. That was more than the washing machine originally cost. My husband got on the internet and figured out the issue and repaired it with a $20 part from Amazon in 30 minutes. My husband did not want to make a call for outside help, but I insisted. We needed professional assistance. After much research, we found Appliance Works, a family owned company that had fantastic reviews online. We called them to schedule an appointment to come out and diagnose the problem. The diagnosis service call was to cost $95, and it would be applied towards any repair costs. After our other experience, this sounded like a dream. The day of the appointment, the technician, Edwin, was right on time. He was sharp, knowledgeable, and professional. To make a long story short, he spent almost three hours working on our problem. He even got Brett, the owner, on the phone when he couldn't figure out the issue after 2 hours, and Brett was right there to support him in thinking through the possible issues. When is the last time you encountered a company whose owner gave that kind of support to his field personnel? We thought they were going to tell us that we owed more, but at the end, the bill was only $95. They gave us a quote for repairs and applied the $95 against that quote. We now have a working refrigerator again. This is an awesome company and they hire incredible people. The owner supports his people in a way that you just don't encounter in most businesses today. We can't say enough about them. Don't look any further; just call them if you need help with an appliance.

However they said they needed to email me a form that I then had to print out, fill out and send back with my credit card info. I feel like this is pretty unprofessional and quite frankly a little shady feeling. With AI and scams out there this didn't feel right. Reviews can be fabricated on a website. So it just didn't feel right. A suggestion for your company being that it's 2026. Get this to work digitally. The next company I called sent me a text and I filled out the info on their system. A lot more secure and not as much of a hassle.

Just be a human being and give it what it wants. Vladimir is the owner of the business. He was my Referal Steve was my technician. Steve had to go get a $60 plastic part the cost for them to come out is $125. My total bill was 185. It took a day and a half because of having to get parts I had a chance to clean all the parts so that when my machine was reassembled, it didn't have 12 years of dog and human grossness, it truly wasn't that bad but still. I will call these guys again and again less is more if you have older stuff it was built better than the new stuff that's on the market appliance wise again this was a washer. After about an hour of banging in my laundry room the tech said he was done, but would need to return to fix the door after the part came in. He left a huge pile of lint and a mess all over the floor. Didnt even ask for a trash can or offer to clean up. He also didn't even put the dryer back in place and scratched and dented to top of my dryer while taking it apart. Dryer has ALWAYS had a protective cover on it. I instantly noticed the damage and took pictures. A week later they called to schedule fixing the door. I asked for a different tech and described my issues. After a long wait on hold, I was asked to send pictures. I did, never heard anything back. 2 weeks later they showed up to fix the door and the tech was instantly defensive about the damage. Turns out he's the owner. He said we were recorded telling the tech to leave the mess. NOT TRUE, and apparently they record in your home without your knowledge. He also told my husband my phone conversation was recorded and I said the dent was already there. Also, NOT TRUE. I wouldn't have complained if that was the case, and what about all the scratches?!?! Chip noticed the prior tech hadn't even opened the dryer (factory tape was still on) and so had to be lying about the diagnosis. Inside ten minutes he had opened it up, pulled a couple of socks out, put it all together again and we were all beaming from ear to ear as it purred like new. *CONCLUSION* It's not often that I get to recommend someone wholeheartedly but here I am on Yelp. Hubert was responsive, quickly identified the issue, ordered the parts and made the repair with no issues. From that point forward we always requested him as our service provider. We have since moved homes and we have continued to use Hubert for a washer in our new home and a dishwasher in our guest house. Again all repairs come without any service issues. He is quick to fit us in and quick to make the necessary repairs. Tomorrow I'll call him again, this time for our fridge that just stopped working.
