I rarely leave reviews on places but this was necessary. I brought two sweatsuits to this cleaners in which the white outlining was TURNED PURPLE due to the cleaning. My wife then brought white jeans to this place which had YELLOW SPOTS on it once she got them back. I ignored the bad cleanings and dropped black jeans off to be dry cleaned in which they are now FADED and not jet black how I brought them. TERRIBLE. read more

Sam the tailor is amazing! He can turn anything into a masterpiece. The staff there is also incredible. I drive a half an hour just for them to do my dry cleaning. This is the best experience I've ever had from a cleaners. I don't really take the time to write reviews but this place is so amazing I had to share. So, I took a bunch of my fancy party outfits and also my husband's dress shirts & pants. Everything looked awesome when I picked it up, flawless, like new. But the thing that sets them apart is their ALTERATIONS service! I had bought some cheap but super cute jumpsuit, so obviously it didn't fit quite right. Loose a few places, also wanted to add some straps because it was a flimsy tube top. OMG the sweetest lady in the world heard me out and transformed my jumpsuit into a million dollar outfit. I swear I felt like a million$ when I wore it. The straps were added on to the thickness and material I wanted. The silhouette was just cinched in the right places. Oh and aside from that darling woman, the guy that initially greets you is really welcoming and down to earth. Not to be stereotypical but he speaks perfect English lol. I've had experiences where I took things to other places and couldn't get my message across and got frustrated, and that's the only reason I mentioned this. Anyway, overall great experience. The old curmudgeon who looks like he's smoked three packs of cigarettes a day is rude, disrespectful and worst of all thinks his "jokes" are funny. I put up with his bad attitude for a couple of years but now I'm refusing to go there again. He's horrible and I've never had an old man talk to me the way he did. This is my second and LAST time I will ever go there. The first time I went I had a $20 off coupon and that sounded like a good idea. They did a great job and the customer service nice and friendly. This time not even close to the same experience. I had about 20 pieces to dry clean and the girl counted them and everyting was fine. Then she asked me when would I like my clothes back Friday afternoon or Thursday? I asked her at what time they opened on Friday morning and she said 7 a.m. Obviously I'm not going that early so I said "please have them ready by Thursday so I can pick them up Friday morning on my way to work". I also told her I had their 30% coupon that I got in the mail and asked her to please let me know what my bill was going to be when I picked my clothes up. She gave me this look of how dare I make her do extra work. I said to her I needed to know how much it was going to be considering it's a lot of clothes and I don't want sticker shock. She said "well it's going to take time I have to count all the pieces again". Seriously?!? Anyways hemming and hawing she counts them and the owner a short older grey haired man walks by with a smile as she says "I haven't finished my lunch" and he didn't seem to give a crap. Finally she totals my bill to $170. I was trying not to have a seizure so I mentioned again the coupon and was informed it would be about $120. She then asks me for the coupon right there and then as if I'm making the stuff up and I told her you want me to go out to my car and find it right now when I'm not going to pay for it yet? She said "just bring it when you come back". In a mad rush I had left a bag of shoes that I need resoled and she called to inform me and promised to hold them with my order. I thought that was very nice and now it makes my following point even more relevant because they have my phone number. Today I go back at 12:30 in the afternoon and ask for my clothes and she tells me they aren't ready. I'm angry because we had agreed my clothes would be ready on THURSDAY and ready for me to pick them up Friday morning. Noon is hardly 7 a.m. they had PLENTY of time instead I had to stand there waiting for them to put the plastic wrap on my clothes and them acting again like I was inconveniencing them. I mentioned this to the owner being unacceptable because you make a promise you keep a promise otherwise you are lying. Their little lie made me late for work and I told him they could have called and mentioned it to me and I would have come Saturday morning. Not to mention one of my blouses needed to be kept for another day! That man has no business dealing with the public and no concept of customer service. He said they did their job and I said no you didn't because I'm sitting here waiting for you to finish it and you aren't ready with my other shirt even though you've had over 3 days and you could have called. He said well we have other orders too. Then he said I'm not going to argue with you to which I replied I'm not arguing with you I'm stating a fact. As I said the man has no concept of customer service or respect for a customer after HIS store screws up. There are plenty of dry cleaners out there to be aggravated by this curmudgeon. The girl at the counter of course didn't know how to deal with me either, I mean not even and I'm sorry you are right we screwed up NOTHING. She's like well he's the owner. I grabbed the remaining mailer they had and threw it in the trash and told her I never plan to go there again. I still have to go back tomorrow to pick up my last blouse which I'm dreading like a root canal. My final thought on this place pricey, crappy parking, crappier service and there are too many nice people in L.A. to be wasting my hard earned money on a place that doesn't appreciate a customer. read more
