The service person said he could fix it (he was very polite), and then his manager (pronounced Shy, not sure of the spelling) instructed him not to do the job. I was given a 4 hour window for the tech to arrive, and 45 minutes prior to his arrival, he called to let me know when he beat my place. He was right on time, gave me three options at varying price points, and did not push the most expensive option, which he told me was there really for an oceanside climate. We were very happy with the service, but I wish I would have gotten a couple of other quotes. It was probably less than $70 in parts and he was at our house no more than 45 minutes and the total cost of the service was $502. That's way more than other skilled trades (electrician, plumber, etc.) would charge for routine maintenance. At times, the locking mechanism had to be fiddled with to align properly due to the sticky sliding doors. I have the usual story of a slider that I had to lean into to close. Finally got fed up and found this company through Yelp. I asked them to come by and look at what I had, and we scheduled a date and a window of time. My technician, Yaniv, called within the window of time given, and showed up exactly when he said he would. I showed him my situation, and he knew exactly what the issues were and told me he could address them today - like, right now! I liked the 3 price options that he gave me, and chose the middle of the road option - good for 10+ years (that was all I was looking for). He got right to work and was done within 30 minutes (I mean he took the door out, replaced the wheels, cleaned it up, lubed it, put it back on the tracks, tested it, got paid - with Zelle, and left). I am really happy with the work that was done, and definitely would recommend using this service provider. read more

Called to get an estimate on the repair of a sliding glass door that was stuck. The woman on the phone was very cut and dry and did not really want to answer any questions but sent someone over right away. The technician they sent was very nice but the estimates they gave sounded way overpriced. They had three tiers of service based on the wheels you wanted put on the door that ranged from $375 to $575. When I said that this sounded way more expensive than I thought it should be, they offered to do a repair with cheap nylon wheels for $300. I took his business card said thank you and sent him on his way. He accidentally knocked over our trash can with his truck that was waiting to be emptied on the street. He came back and offered to clean it up. It wasn't a big mess so I took care of it but I did appreciate him coming back and offering. As nice as he was, the estimate felt like a shakedown or scam. I can't imagine what magical wheels they could put on a sliding glass door that would cost $575. And if you can do the job for $300 make it $300. Don't try to scam more money out of people that don't know better. I was able to call another company where everyone was incredibly nice and they came out a couple days later after the holiday weekend. They fixed my door for $260 with sealed bearing metal wheels in under 30 minutes. read more

Communication is everything. I know most time frames are outrageous but I got a 12-4 window which is totally reasonable. Got a call to adjust the time frame which is not standard practice and totally appreciated.
