I've been coming here for a while and to be honest the food is not great, and the building is run down; looks like they are attempting to give it a small facelift though. I come for the bartenders Cheryl, Steph, JJ! They are a delight to talk with. The reason for my review is there was so many new people on a Friday?! I made sure to get the service wells girls name "Amber" because she offered me and others free drinks for cash, but can't make drinks. I'd rather pay for something that tastes good. She couldn't make a jack and coke! The ingredients are in the name! It was chaos! The worst part was this girl was rude to everyone basically didn't do anything while the rest of the staff scrambled to pick up her slack! Whoever hired her needs to be fired with her!! This place went to hell in a handbag. There is one silver lining about this particular night, and that's JJ she makes the best shots in the world and is so sweet! 5 stars for JJ. Negative stars for this new manager and Amber. 1 star for the bar. Owner needs to come in and fix this FAST before he/she owns a bar with no customers. That's the hard truth. Well I'm here now at the Drafthouse on a date night.. we were trying to order food with the waitress when the owner walked in and disrupted the order never greeted and started talking to the waitress in turn we didn't get our order done correctly!!! There are literally 9 people in here and the wait was long and then the order was not correct. If it wasn't for my friend's husband playing saxophone here this Friday night on October 10/25 at 8:33pm I would not have stayed here!!!! I haven't had any issues with the Draft House. This is my go to "neighborhood bar". I know most of the bartenders that I've encountered during my tenure by name. The menu has been revamped since I've started coming and it still great. My usual to order is baked wings with lemon pepper mixed with medium sauce. It's the perfect blend of spicy and sour. I love it. I also get the crab legs and shrimp with medium or shazam sauce in them. Yes, crab legs at a bar. I know....it threw me for a loop the first time, but they're GOOD! I haven't tried their crawfish because I'm SCARED that they'll be "interesting" since I'm from Louisiana. read more

Horrible experience! My daughter was given a roofie by the bar tender who then proceeded to get to get to close and make her feel uncomfortable. She went with friends and did not even order any drinks but the bar tender brought over drinks for the table "on him". Clean, decent food and good selection of adult beverages. Not a ton of "bar space" so plan on standing. Pool tables are fairly priced and staff are attentive and generous with service. Decent place for evening drinks and to relax. Once it gets later, be careful because people are obviously over served and literally falling on the floors. Look for "special" nights (DJ, etc). The DJ is ok but there is no real dancing or anything so why have it? Otherwise a decent place for adults to have a drink. read more

Are they busy? No, they even took the empty drink but didn't ask if we wanted a new one. You literally have to flag them down and be that karen customer to get any attention. They seem to serve regulars fine, but you don't get more regulars by treating newbies like a waste of your time. They also automatically charge gratuity, so please keep that in mind. read more

Ordered crawfish and frankly they were not good. They tasted like they were a pre-cooked, frozen product that was just quickly boiled in their house seasoning before serving. While they were good in size, probably half of them were mushy, which leads me to believe they were old/overcooked. The flavor tasted like old seafood and the seasoning was very light, which really let the past its prime seafood flavor shine through. The bartender was nice, and the glasses were clean. Don't come Here to eat food it was bland with no flavor. My husband and I sat down to eat, and working minutes the music got so loud we couldn't hear each other. We live in the area and have been here several times. As I understand it, the place has changed ownership numerous times in just a few years. The most recent change in ownership has caused the place to go downhill a bit in my opinion. The food is your average bar food, nothing special. You definitely won't be getting a craft cocktail here or anything like that either, keep it as simple as "whiskey coke" and you'll be good. They have DJs bumping really loud music on the weekends, so don't come here if you're not looking for that vibe. Seems a bit out of place for the area, but whatever. The crowd is the weirdest part of the place. I guess due to the lack of bars in the area, they attract literally all types, some better than others. There are lots of 40's and 50's suburban people, some red necks, and plenty of shady types that look like they may stab you if you bump into them. It'd be nice if Little Elm could get a cool bar like the type you find down in Deep Ellum or Knox Henderson, but no such luck. read more

Another addition for the entertainment of this little town. The place is very open with pool tables, tv's, long bar, and a patio. It's really a far cry different from their other location. Different crowd and different vibe. Although, the other locations have more beers on tap this place have decent selections on tap and bottles as well. This was our third time and probably our last time at this establishment. The previous two times the service was decent. Not exceptional but decent. This visit however was horrible. Started off slow. The manager finally came around and said he was sorry a waitress was running late. Well we spent over an hour to be served two beers and one appetizer. We were planning on having dinner but by the time the waitress chose to come back around and ask is if we wanted two more beers we were done waiting. I told she waitress that we were going to eat dinner but nobody came around to ask so I told her to just bring us the check. I walked over and told the manager the service was horrible and we were taking our money elsewhere. His reply was ok. Wow! Really - just ok? That says a lot about his lack of management skills. We do NOT recommend this place which is sad because my wife and I had just decided that this would be "our place". Guess we will have to start the search all over again. read more

Saturday, May 11th, about 3:20 p.m. I'm passing through from out of town and notice the street barricades along Main St. I go for a walk and decide to try one of the "Frozen Drinks" advertised by Draft Table. I enter, the hostess seats me at the bar, I ask the bartender what kind of frozen drinks they have and he describes all four. I hear the description for the Dreamscicle and say I'll take that. In a couple minutes another couple walks to the bar and the bartender, I never did get his name, waits on them trying beers and discussing the non-functioning tappers until they make their purchase and walk away. At this time another bartender comes on duty and asks me if I've been helped. I nod and say "He's got it." Ten minutes later I still don't have a drink in front of me. I thought maybe because it was frozen it had to come from the back somewhere, but another patron ordered one and I realized they were right there behind the bar. So for 15 minutes, the bartender who took my order was never more than six feet away from me and never gave me my drink order. I just got up and walked away. read more

Came for a late lunch/2nd half of the cowboys game. They allow smoking (yes it's on the patio but I can't remember the last time anywhere that allowed smoking) don't let the pictures fool you. This place is a total dive and made me feel gross just being in there. The service was terrible, food tasted like it came out of a frozen bag. Nothing had flavor. They ran out of plates and started serving food on Styrofoam. WTH?! The place maybe had 15 people most of who were drinking. I would not bring anyone here. The place is definitely a step up from what the Lions Den was. The place is beautiful and the staff was attentive.That is as far as I would go. Apparently tea does not get made because it either takes to long or is widely accepted to drink here. Sweet or unsweet who doesn't drink tea? I understand menus change perhaps it may be a good idea to remove the old menus from all tables and replace with the latest. The silverware could use extra attention also. You should not to scrape the remains of the patrons order off the surface. We walked away and cut our losses before the meal came. I cant say if will or won't go back. This place is your standard dive bar on steroids. Multiply your favorite place by 2 and you have the draft house. It is very large inside with an area to dance and plenty of seating. We didn't eat, so I can't speak to the food. I saw several things walk by, and they looked pretty good. The beer was very reasonably priced, but they did serve some in plastic cups. This is not a frat bar. I am a big girl. Mama can handle a real glass without smashing it on someone's head. They have waitresses, and service was pretty good considering the size. This place does get busy! They had a DJ who was great and really read the room. He had music videos to match the songs, so it was a great experience. The demographics of this place were pretty eclectic. They have something for everyone, and it wasn't just a young person/old person bar. It is pretty far from us, but if we lived closer, it'd be our spot. read more

Truly disappointed by the lackluster cheeseburger! To exhausted to prepare dinner for the evening, I suggested we order takeout. I called to place the order and my husband was going to pick up the order on his way home. I placed the order with a man who answered the phone and after repeating my orspeciwice (cheeseburger LT only, Hamburger LPmayo), I had a feeling it would be incorrect. I called my hubby back and told him to double check the order before leaving the restaurant. Ha, yep, just like I thought, onions on the burgers after repeating the order twice which did not include onions. This place won me over almost as soon as I walked in. This is a sports bar; TV screens, pool tables, video games, a Texas sized size bar! It was early, and we had gotten done with the boys' soccer and basketball games at our other home known as the Field House. I was yelping out some spots to go to and this came up so we tried it. We started off with the fried pickles and fried mushrooms. No joke, these were the best we have had in the entire north Dallas area. The may not know how to spell appetizers on their website, but the sure know how to make them. The mushrooms were fresh and the batter was perfect. The chef took favor on us and gave us some free samplers of some items he was thinking of adding to the menu. One was a twist on potato skins using small red potatoes instead of skins, and the other was meatballs. This dude was talented, both tasted great! We were getting full so my wife and I split a Black Jack burger - which was great, and the boys got boneless chicken wings (bcws). Those had to be the most tender bcw's I've have ever had. And the gifts did not stop coming out; Chef Superman let us taste the gumbo and jambalaya as well. The jambalaya had sausage made right there and it was very good. Chef said they were going to start serving breakfast/brunch so keep that in mind. Even my youngest was chowing down on on the gumbo and this kid is persnickety. My only suggestion to our great waitress was that they needed to add nachos. Not those individual chips with some ground cover that some so called upscale places serve (you know who you are, Mi Cocina), but mounds of chips, cheese and meat. Anyway, the beer selection was also good; I had the Martin House Salsa Verde since the lakewood temptress was out, and was not disappointed. While we ate inside, they have an outside area that looked really nice as well. Also we played a bit of pool - they charge by the minute which was good ($0.22 per minute - about $12.00 per hour) so we only played a little bit til the boys got bored. Now first and foremost they have stepped it up from the Lions Den, so you can definitely relax and enjoy without the old lame vibe! They do a karaoke night, industry night and a later happy hour for great drink prices. While I was there 2 new pool tables were being built and they turn the music off so watching a sporting event on their big screens is enjoyable. No screaming to hear the person next to you! The menu is a great mix of seafood, burgers, wings, sandwiches and a ton of apps I haven't tried yet. Meal #1The first visit I had the draft burger and was it was really yummy! Juicy, well seasoned and comes with every topping imaginable. The only downside (they are new, so not a biggie) was my sunny side up egg was beyond over medium... Lol yes I assumed it would be runny. Meal #2 I'm soooo happy I got messy and went with the crab legs! The medium spice is garlicky deliciousness, I was licking my fingers and could of cared less how I looked- yes that good.
