The ac stopped working on 2 separate occasions, on 2 separate hot days. The first time I called another company and waited for callback just to schedule a time. After forever (probably 2 hours) of nothingness, I contacted Dragon Air. Dragon texted me immediately, scheduled a time, arrived, repaired, all under 3 hours. I called Dragon Air Services last night because my heater wasn't working. The thermostat would click on but the fan wouldn't blow warm air out of the vents. Dragan picked up my call and I told him what my problem was. Dragan was able to diagnose the problem right over the phone by just asking me a few questions. He actually told me it was most likely something simple and that he could help me fix the problem myself...right over the phone. I thought, "What? Ok, let's do this." Dragon Air has been absolutely amazing! We recently had some shoddy work done at our house and Dragan and his team saved the day. It's super true that you get what you pay for. I wish we would have called Dragon Air before we did what we did. But hopefully this review will help someone else in there decision when picking a company. Throughout the whole process Dragan has been very honest. Not once did I ever feel like he was trying to upsell me or take advantage of us. I mostly deal with work being done on our 100 year old house and a lot of it is new to me. Other companies have taken advantage of this but Dragan has always been honest and his pricing is fair. Dragan and his team came yesterday to exchange our old blower and will be back to replace our downstairs unit with a package unit. They are also going to update/replace our crushed ducts. Dragan is very thorough and only makes suggestions when something is actually NEEDED. You can tell that he loves what he does, truly loves a challenge, and has the stamina to see a project through till the end for the best results. All of his team were very polite, they laid down tarps all throughout the house and left no mess. They went above and beyond cleaning air filters for me, coming up with plans so they don't have to put extra holes in the house and even said they would put my back gate back up after the installation of our package unit. We contacted a few places via Yelp and Dragon Air was one of the few places to contact us that ended up having the lowest price and same day scheduling. The AC guy who came by was pretty straightforward and friendly to talk to. He was able to figure out why our AC system was off, and was able to fix it as well. He was very patient with us, considering we were clueless about our system (we had just bought our home recently), and was good in giving us helpful information on maintaining it. He also gave us a recommendation when we asked about air duct cleaning (see my review for Bunnara Hoy!) Overall, we had a good experience with this company. A control inside the home is not communicating with outside AC unit sensor. Of course this happens on a weekend at 100' temps. I have contacted our usual hvac crew Who we've been using for 10yrs +. Since they were not responding, I called Dragon. Alex was kind enough to give me some troubleshooting for the weekend to try on my own. But didn't work. Waited for our hvac crew for the Monday, guy showed up with a hung over who barely did diagnostic assessment of what the issue is and just want to sell out right more expensive options. In short we called Dragon for the business instead of hung over guy to do the circuit board or whatever is needed. Ready for the big expense. Alex came did the proper assessment and all is needed is the electrical wiring fixed (which the fix mucked up too by previous hvac company couple years back apparently). Dragan just left my AC running cold a few minutes ago and I have to say, I'm glad to have "a guy." About a year ago, my older HVAC went down and the servicing technician's name was Dragan. The name stuck out but the quality of service did even more. I had received a few quotes and scopes from other services but Dragan was by far the most efficient technician who had set foot in the house. It's true like other reviews say, he's a wrapped shoe professional. I hadn't even considered it with the other estimators until I saw it in practice. He had solved the issue right off the bat and at a sound rate. These past few days were balmy and I had waited to get a quote. I called a previous number I had for Dragan, but had to leave a VM for the other business. In scrolling online reviews, I saw Dragan had his own business now. I called him at 940pm, he answered on the second ring, and was at my house by 950pm. Dragan quickly discovered a power surge issue, moved through the circuit boards and found burn marks that led to some shorted wiring which he was able to strip and replace very efficiently. AC is now running, wife and kid are happy, and I will be reaching out for further work when I can replace the older unit. Thank you, Dragan! read more

Dragan's business has 5 stars from real customers because he simply earned it!! He is educated, informed, and detailed in his work. He installs AC systems to code and will explain everything he is doing very clearly to you. You will always have the option to do less work if it doesn't fit your budget but he will explain the plus and minuses of it all. I wish I had hired him during the first install of new AC system but instead had hired him after the first guy I hired didn't consider that I needed duct work and return air to balance out the newer high efficiency furnace systems. Our A/C system was blowing warm air and the outside compressor unit was not working. Braden from Dragon Air Systems responded to my Yelp request within minutes, and I had an appointment the next morning. He arrived at the time he said he would be here, and diagnosed my problem as an intermittent connection in the wiring to the outside unit (it had been replaced about 10 years ago). He tested it all, found a bad capacitor, but did not have to add refrigerant. He clearly was honest and thoroughly explained what he was doing each step of the way. This is the second time I've used there service... blower went out on my furnace and Danny was able to come out short notice... he was able to quickly diagnose the issue that I as an inspector was stumped with... it was just a blown fuse and they did not try and tell that i needed a new unit or blower motor or any issues with my heat exchanger like most companies would... they show honesty and integrity and for someone who works with hvac contractors on a daily basis, i wouldn't trust anyone else in my home... if you want someone that won't bs you and rip your grandma off, I'd call these guys. read more

They were very nice people to work with as these kinds of things are really stressful to homeowners. They found the problem gave me a couple of reasonable options. Prices were reasonable. They made the repair for us and showed great care the entire time. A week later i had another problem with another unit. The owner came out and determined a switch was off. I initially called him out to get a 2nd opinion since the previous company took 5 hours for the assessment, did not fix the core issue, and stated that next steps were a total system replacement costing over 7k. I am usually not one to leave many 5 star reviews. It leaves no room for improvement. But, the integrity and honesty of Dragan Tadic and his Company, Dragon Air Services, has compelled me to let everyone that I can find to know of my experience with him and his people. All his help is top notch, courteous and professional. They are not only extremely knowledgeable, but are personable, they clean up well after themselves, and they do a fantastic job! He was the cheapest of the 5 bids I received, and was one of the most thorough in checking things out properly to determine exactly what was needed before preparing his bid. Many techs will just come to replace what you have and do little extra. But, Dragan and his company do things the right way, through painstaking additional personal effort, and it pleases them to do this because it's the right way, which is a pleasant surprise! This not only insures a happy customer for life, but that he won't have to come back for any problems. What I was most impressed with is that, through the process, as they would find things that were either not done properly before or could be done now to improve the air flow and the life of the system, he did these at no additional charge to me, using his materials. He added extra duct work at his cost. He saved me at least $500 on an electrician and near $2000 on the little extras and discounts he gave me here and there. One thing they won't do is to sell you something that won't perform well for your installation or that you won't ultimately be very happy with. He spends additional time to use the proper tools, with help of a professional industry standard software algorithm he uses, to determine system size and air flow, and not just winging it, guessing or simply to replace what was there. He wants you to be happy and at the same time not create problems, and he does everything possible to insure the system operating at its best at little to no extra cost. For this reason, he won't just come in to replace what you have, but he does the proper work to determine what you need and what will perform the best for you. I couldn't be happier as I not only got a A+++ installation, but a 16 SEER 2-stage system at the same price of a 14 SEER single stage from one of the other bidders. My house was built in 1973 and the duct work didn't really provide sufficient return air flow for the system. Dragan added another return for a fraction of the price of others, basically at his cost. The previous HVAC tech I used 15 years ago, the system Dragan was replacing, had sold me a smaller system (3.5 ton) for my 2010 sq. ft. home and he didn't do the proper tests and measurements. This old unit ran constantly and never really cooled the house. As a result, I experienced electric bills in the $500 range in the hottest part of the Texas Summer. I can already see now that this system will save me at least $250 per month, and probably more. I'll find out soon enough as the summer comes. Dragan insured that I was happy and that HE was happy with his work. He's a perfectionist and a professional, and his pricing is as though you are his best friend! He and his brother have a friend, and customer, for life! I can't fully express how much he stands head and shoulders above the rest and how happy I am with the new system. I could go on and on.
