I noticed my attic A/C unit started making noise a few days ago. I read through the reviews and decided to give Dragon Air Services a try. They answered my call and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He offered to send his brother out later the same day, but I was okay waiting until the next day. Alex showed up on time the next day. It was nice of him to wear protective shoe coverings while walking through the house. He reset the dampers and explained the way my system was set up so I understood additional options, if I chose, but suggested that I see if the dampers corrected the problem without additional cost. I can't say that I have a lot of experience with having my AC repaired, but even if I did, I can't imagine there could be a better experience than this. Braden came right out the same day I called. To be honest, I'd been busy working all day and drug my feet about calling anyone to repair the system that seemed to have gone out last night. The weather has been pretty mild and when I called I said this is not an emergency to which they replied, we can absolutely come out today. Winter is coming and Dragon Air came to the rescue! With the onset of cold weather I unfortunately found out one freezing night that my furnace wasn't working. I called Dragon Air to help, but admittedly only after some suspected foul play by another company I tried first (which I found later to be a cut wire to my furnace control board). I'm glad I trusted my gut to get a second opinion. While on the phone, Dragan (the owner) suggested a few things I could do to troubleshoot in case it was a small issue I could fix myself. After trying the easier things and realizing I did not have the tools to do the advanced troubleshooting, I requested a service call and was lucky to be fit in the same day. When he arrived, he quickly found and fixed the cut wire (which I saw previously from my troubleshooting but didn't know was abnormal), helped test everything, and patiently answered all my dumb questions. We called at about 4pm on Friday needing an emergency fan motor replacement. Dragan was able to fit us in in after his current job and at about 6:30 or so we had a working motor again! This company is exceptional. We had them service our HVAC before selling our home per buyer request and they took care of everything we asked for without any issue. They also gave us options/suggestions to whether or not we should fix some of the small things that they found while servicing. Did not push us for the sale but explained to us the situation and it may become an issue later. We took their suggestion and fixed what needed to be fix before selling our home. Then we have some issues that needed them to come back for a check up. No question asked they came out the next morning and fixed it. After our home was sold the buyer also wanted extra reassurance that the Nests on each floors were functioning appropriately. I called Dragon Air and Aleck my technician told me I had a small leak somewhere but nothing to worry about, filled up my system and 3yrs later our air is still going strong, that was awesome. problem #2 was our upstairs furnace and a constant blower fan always on, he checked it out and recommended a new pc board. Another company said I needed about $2900 in new parts for my heating system. I called Dragon, and they were out in an hour. The picture the other guys gave me of a "cracked heat exchanger" was not even our system. Aaron tested the system, and gave it a clean bill of health. I wish there was some way to get these unscrupulous guys out of business, but unfortunately, nobody really monitors them. Dragan replaced both of our aging (30-year-old) furnaces at a price that was massively lower than other quotes we've received in the past. He also gave us a $1,000 discount because we were replacing both units at the same time. The installation crew was professional and polite, and very careful not to damage our carpets. Of course, they cleaned up after themselves when they finished. Dragan took us into the attic for a final inspection of the installation, and we were amazed at the quality of the work.
