This is the absolute best Chinese food you can get in Daphne if you're poor like me. See, I can't go to PF Changs and Stix and whatnot all he time. But I can go to dragon city. And it's the best. It's so good. If you go on the evening it's better than in the morning because I feel like the pans the cook it in are seasoned better from the whole day but idk that's just me maybe. I love it. Very good. Sometimes smells like nail polish but I don't mind tbh it's like a buzz you know??? Real cool. Sometimes be a my nitriles if it's too nail polishy tho. read more

Definition: mein. n. "Chinese wheat flour noodles" (in lo mein, chow mein, etc.), 1934, from Chinese, literally "wheat flour." I ordered "chow mein" for delivery. When the delivery arrives it was a box of sauteed onions and pork.... no noodles, nothing. So I called to inform them they got my delivery incorrect because I ordered noodles "chow mein" they informed me that "chow mein" meant mixed vegetables..... what?? The definition of mein is literally wheat flower noodles. All means are noodle dishes. Anyway they would not make it right. So regular customer no more. read more

This is a typical carry out, delivery joint. There are a few tables in the front if you wish to sit.. But it's definitely nothing fancy. Overall the food is pretty decent. I will say their fried dumplings are simply amazing.. The vegetables are cooked perfectly.. Sauced and seasoned but not mushy... Still crunchy. Our go to in the event it's a Monday and Shanghai cottage is not available.. But for delivery it can't be beat. read more

Good for delivery standard Chinese food. The combo dinners are a good deal, I stick with Spicy Sesame Chicken Dinner with vegetable fried rice. A side of veg low main. Kids like sweet and sour chicken which is nice white meat. read more

In town on business and got the menu from hotel front desk. I really don't like Chinese, but didn't have many options. I thought it was delicious. Crab rangoons were great. Chicken n pork in our dinners, and it was very tasty. Definitely recommend. read more

RUDE!!! If you need courteous service don't bother. When I picked up my order I wasn't sure if I wanted a drink. I asked if they had drinks. He paused and then, rudely and with much attitude, asked what do you want? And then very quickly told me what my options were. All while he was on the phone. By far the worst service I have ever experienced. I guess it's a good thing they have mostly take-out. QUALITY: The rice is fake. The chicken is good. Except for the knots in it. I hope it's real. Sauce is a little thick but good overall. I should probably find a new take out. So sad. read more

We should have known from the garbage and debris in the parking lot that the inside would be just as sketchy. If you have to wade your way through cigarette butts and litter just to get inside...TURN AROUND! After leaving my entire family felt as if we needed a bath in Clorox. Food was not even mediocre. Seeing the ratings of others makes me believe that there is no other Chinese buffet in the area. read more

This use to be a good place to eat.......The lunch is ok not much of a variety. The dinner buffet was cold & old and when I asked the hostess, she said too much waste and cost to throw away. They are serving food from lunch on their dinner bar. The only reason I am leaving a 1 star is because there is no zero. I called the health dept after being up sick after we got home. My husband and I are big fans of Chinese Buffet type places. We were looking for a good place in Daphne to meet our son and have a nice meal. Dragon City is BY FAR the best Chinese buffet we've been to in a long time, if not ever. Everything that we tried was yummy. Great selection. VERY clean. Excellent service. We ate during lunch hours (before 3:30 PM.), and it was less than six bucks a plate. Three adult meals and drinks cost us 25.00. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended. Just past Pizza Hut on the same side of the road, but sort of down a hill. If you see Regions bank, you've gone too far. Really yummy! read more

We have been regular customers of Dragon City since we moved to Daphne three years ago. In that time, we have never had a problem with customer service, and are always pleased with their food. Last night, however, I placed an order and half of the order was wrong. When I called, I was told the chef had gone home already, but I would be given a credit. Today I was told that the gentleman who took the order never said that the wontons were cheese only, which is a lie. I ordered one order, the man asked me if I wanted them with crab or just plain cheese. I asked, "Do you make them with just cheese?" He stated, "Yes." So I ordered two orders instead of one, as the rest of the family would eat just the cheese variety but not the crab. Further, I ordered fried rice. What I received was saffron rice -- bright yellow and soft. I cannot eat saffron because it gives me migraines. I was told that this was the only kind of rice that they serve, which is another lie because again, we have been ordering from them for years and I've never gotten bright yellow rice before. The only concession I got was an offer for a credit for the chow may foon, as I ordered the vegetable and was given the shrimp. I would otherwise have recommended this restaurant -- however I will personally not do business here again, as I value customer service, I don't appreciate the combative response to my complaint, and I do not like being lied to. In my opinion, though their food is good, it is not so crazy-mad-amazing that I cannot move my business to another restaurant where the food is just as good and the customer service is better. read more

I've been there multiple times, and each time it seems to get more gross. I decided to eat some steamed vegetables today instead of the usual fried food I get there (which always leaves me wishing I hadn't) and I found 3 mealworms on my plate. Awful! read more

Don't eat here! Ordered delivery to hotel. Crispy fried seafood noodle dish & soup. They did not include plastic silverware & had to go out & get some. They did not pack the noodles separately so they were swollen & disgusting when I opened the container & they were buried under the food. Also there was something that tasted like dumplings in the entree also? Threw it away, $20.00 plus tip wasted. Called restaurant to let them know, could care less. read more

If I could give this place a lower review I would. This clown answers the phone and starts to take our order then puts us on hold 3 times. When we get the order delivered we realized we didn't have the hot and sour soup. When we asked about it he said " no you no order soap, I take all orders and you no order it." We responded with we all ordered and he said thank you good bye. That's when I took over and called back. When I said how do you just hang up on customers like that can I speak to the manager. He responded I am the owner. So before I could say another word he answered the phone and continued to answer more calls during my conversation. I said don't you think you should finish the first order before you take another that maybe you messed up. He responds "I make no mistake your fault." I asked this is how your support your customers and veterans. And he then replies "you no order it and I don't care, you just never call back if you have problem". I will never support this piece of trash and recommend no veteran or currently serving serviceman do that same. He is disrespectful and demeaning and horrible customer service! And those are using the most professional and non demeaning words I can find. read more
