As a former employee turned customer, let me begin by saying All Pro Air is by far the best central cooling and heating system company in Southern California. Barry and Sheldon run their company with integrity and place customer service as their priority. Today, my friend and former colleague Tom responded to my residence and I purchased a 3 ton Daiken Fit system. Prior to my purchase, my wife had another company (Right Time Heating and air) respond to provide a quote. The experience was night and day. Right Times representative responded 90 minutes late, and the sales representative was completely unprepared and unprofessional. He subsequently quoted us a far inferior system to the Daiken system we purchased from All Pro Air at an extremely inflated price (21,500). This system included a 3 ton 16 seer single stage system. Once I heard the pricing, I completely ignored this guy. I knew for a fact he was trying to get over on us. To make matters worse he tried to offer a customer service guarantee on future diagnostic services should his system have issues. As a former HVAC Technician for All Pro Air, I have first hand experience where Right Time does not honor this guarantee. They push their customers off and when given the run around, those customers call All Pro Air to take care of Right Times obligations. In return, All Pro Air earns future customers and a positive reputation. Right Time is the Wrong Time. With All Pro Air I purchased my superior system, at a fraction of Right Times inflated price. Tom was excellent in doing everything he could to make our experience comfortable. He ensured all our needs were met and really looked out in our best interest. He was not pushy when presenting system options but allowed us to make our decision based on our comfort level and needs. With that said, it only made sense to purchase the system that common sense would say gave us the best bang for our buck. Our residential central A/C unit stopped blowing cool air and I noticed that the outdoor unit in our backyard didn't kick on as well. I looked online to see if I could trouble shoot it myself, but without the proper tools and guidance, I had to definitely get a professional out here. I immidiately turned to Yelp to see what options I had. I came across 2 in my area. And there was a very lovely receptionist that answered my call promptly (Her name was Breanna). She got my info and was able to get me an appointment the SAME DAY! I gladly accepted the appointment for 3 - 5 PM. The field technician gave me a call around 3:45 PM to notify me that he is on his way and he arrived within 40 minutes. Very pleasant gentleman (His name was Chris) approached with a smile and got right down to business. Asked me what happened to help him guage what the issue was, and boom figured it out and gave me my options. Did not try to up sell me or haggle me with unnecessary services. Luckily for me, it was one of the most common A/C breakdown parts. He was in and out within 30 mins. Honestly, I haven't seen such great service like this in a very long time. I was very pleased with my experience with All Pro Air. Sheldon and Barry visited the site of my home addition to discuss preparations for a ductless mini-split and then Sheldon patiently discussed various options for a cooling/heating solution that would work with my space. All work was done very well with consideration of how the final installation would look and operate. Both men were polite, knowledgable, and very skilled. The system works perfectly and has been tucked out of sight making a minimal impact on the outside of my home. They even took the time to make sure my current HVAC system was running properly, sufficiently insulated, and even offered to submit my registration/warranty paperwork! Josh was super nice, friendly and professional. He assessed the problem correctly but was real quick to sit down to discuss buying a whole new unit while pushing the doom and gloom of expensive repairs. It felt like being at a car dealership when Josh kept "checking with his boss on price." Once he went into sales mode with a ton of overwhelming technical explanations and benefits to higher priced units, complete with automotive analogies, we stopped listening and tapped out. To be fair, Josh did offer to do a repair for an inflated price in order to justify purchasing a new unit. R-22 refrigerant (freon) stopped being produced in 2010. Most likely, if you have an 11 year old unit, you will most likely be encouraged to swap units. I do appreciate his honesty regarding troubleshooting, but was really turned off by the slick hard sell. Beware, you'll get a call the next day asking what model you wanted. I'm very surprised they have a 5 star rating. My thinking, will I always be overcharged if I use this company in the future? If you have money to burn and don't care about prices, this company is for you. Just wasn't what I was willing to deal with. read more

I was having issues with my home air conditioning unit a few weeks ago and my family and I couldin't stand the heat any longer! I had previously contacted two other A/C companies, and both stated I required to replace the complete system. Assuming we required a new A/C unit, I called All Pro Air and I was impressed with their timely and professional service. The technician who arrived confirmed it was a minor fix, and had it running in no time! I must say, I was very dissapointed by the attempted up-sell of the other two companies! I've been using All Pro AC for a few years. I currently have an annual contract so ALL PRO can checking my HVAC and do maintenance. I've had different workers, all of whom have been friendly and knowledgeable. Today, Ken performed maintenance and answered questions I had. He was very helpful. Found leaks three other air people missed. I could see the one leak myself when they pointed it out. Came out after the service when I smelled a terrible smell in my bedroom. My son and I both thought it was coming from the vent. They drove over after midnight and crawled through the attic checking everything. They did not even charge me! In the middle of a heatwave, they were able to schedule me the next day. Josh, the technician arrived before my scheduled time and quickly began to diagnose the issue with my ac unit. He then explained all my repair or replacement options, detailing the estimated costs and potential drawbacks of each course of action when trying to keep a 20 year old system operating. Josh took a lot of time answering all of my questions and he seemed genuinely concerned about my ability to make informed choices. We concluded that a new system was probably the best long term option. Since our new system would not be installed for two days and our second floor ac would not be functioning, he called to see if he could get permission to install a loaner part so that we would have ac until our new system was up and operating. All Pro installed my new HVAC unit. From the beginning of the process ( estimates) to the finish, I was exceptionally impressed. They went above and beyond expectations in customer care. Me and my brothers comfort was their first priority. A portable air conditioner Was provided for 2 rooms til work began the next morning. (This was my last estimate of the day and it ended after normal business hours. Just a side note....Mike, the service manager came by after hours because I wanted just 1 more estimate. This is the second time that I've had this company out. The first time was for my air and the second was for my heater. We were dealing with a horrible company that was supposed to fix our heater and dryer. I finally stopped going back and forth with them and called All Air Pro. They had someone out the next day and we only had to pay them the charge to come out. Apparently it was simply a disconnected wire. The other company that came out was going to charge us $131. My husband and I bought our house 6 years ago. At that time our son was 1 year old. Ever since we moved in, this little guy has been sick with upper respiratory infection, pneumonia, and now asthma. I kept telling my husband that I felt the house was making him sick. We knew we needed to get our AC unit looked because the thermostat was really old. We had a few people come out but all they said was " the AC seems to be functioning fine" so we had them just maintenance the unit and off they went. Our Son still sick all the time and wheezing. Then we noticed that no matter what we did our house was always cold. The kids rooms never were warm despite having the heat at 80 degrees. Our electric bill well over $200/ month and gas bill $160. We finally decided to get someone to come out and give us yet another estimate on a new AC / duct system. All pro air was the 6th consult we had. Tom came out on a Saturday and spent time with my husband and I going over everything that was needing to be done. He was so kind and knowledgeable with the system and product. He was not pushy at all made us feel comfortable and good about our decision, and he is honest. By Tuesday, 3 days later, Jeff and Travis showed up to start the project. They also were so kind and respectful. They cleaned up after themselves so I didn't have to worry about that. Tom continued to check in on us daily making sure everything was going well. The crew showed up when they said they would, and we knew we made the right choice. You can tell they really care about their customers. The whole process was quick and pretty easy it took 2 days to complete. We ended up with a new AC unit, all new ducts. we did choose to add the air scrubber system to help our son have a clean home to live in. I give all pro air, Tom, Jeff, and Travis 5 stars and I will never go anywhere else. I really appreciate all they do. read more

I would like to HIGHLY recommend All-Pro Air to anyone who is in need for heating or air conditioning service. I bought a new heating and air conditioning unit from another Lennox authorized service dealer and had a horrible experience, with multiple problems arising from their lack of knowledge of the system, installation and poor management of the company. For 2 years I had to deal with them not being able to setup the system properly, leaving me without heating multiple times during winter as well and no air conditioning during summer. I ended up calling Lennox directly to request another authorized service company in my area and they recommended All-Pro-Air. I cannot believe the difference in professionalism and level of customer service. Everyone from the receptionist to the owners, including the Service Techs that came to my house were unbelievably friendly, well educated on the system and extremely professional. From the moment Trisha (the receptionist) answered the phone in a very friendly manner, to her real empathy when I explained to her the issues I had been dealing with. She promptly forwarded my case to the owners and they offered to come to my house personally to fix my system once and for all, along with bringing a regional Lennox representative to my house to make sure my system to set up properly. Before we agreed on a date and time, they offered to send a technician over the same afternoon I called, to see if it was something they could do in the meantime. Dustin (the technician) was very keen in discovering a few items that contributed to the problem. Although that was not the reason for his visit (the original issue was a burning smell on the supply vents), because of his actions, we discovered that the prior company had not fixed their issues, but instead disconnected certain functions of the system. Sheldon and Barry (I believe the owners) are incredible!!! not only did they check my system completely and were able to sort out the cause of all my problems, fix it...but at the end, they said they would not charge me. This is a company that DID NOT install my system, but they felt I was dealt the short end of the stick, so they took it upon themselves to correct a mistake that some other company had done...at no cost to me. That happened during winter when i was experiencing problems with my heater. This week my Air Conditioning stopped cooling, just hot air coming out. So I immediately called All-Pro-Air again and Trisha still remembered my name and who I was. She told me she will take care of me and they were able to send a technician the following day. This time Justin showed up (another great technician). Once again he checked all my system and was able to resolve my problems in a very friendly and expedition manner. Apparently i had been loosing my refrigerant from a loose valve (probably caused during the initial installation). To my surprise, when he was done, he once again mentioned that they wont charge me anything, that they will get in touch with the company that did the original installation and request them cover their cost. I CANNOT emphasize how amazing this company is. Absolutely everyone from the receptionist to the owner, including their service techs have bent over backwards to make things right for me, even though it was not their fault to begin with. It makes SUCH a huge difference dealing with a company like this. I truly believe everyone should use them, I wish I had from the beginning. I bought a very expensive new unit and didn't think it would make a big difference which company installed it...I guess I learned the hard way it does. I've taken the time to write all this review so that others don't have to go through what I did during the last 2 years. All-Pro-Air has won my business and I would be recommending them to everyone I know. I've also signed a Service Agreement with them so I don't have to worry about anything anymore...I'll let the professionals handle it. Before i get into it, i just want to throw out there that I know how to DIY most of my projects and always do my home work before calling vendors. This is my second time using these guy. The first time they came when my main A/C was acting up. They charged me the flat investigation fee, the issue turned out to be a silly mis-configure done by previous home owners. Even though they could have just left for 10min worth of work the man stuck around to check out the rest of the system answer any questions we had. It was informative and helpful making the fee worth it. Years later I called these guys for a 2nd visit, Tom came out and instead of trying to cram something I didn't need or couldn't afford down my throat. The guy treated me like a person, we talked he got a better understanding of what i wanted and gave me options. Honestly, I've gotten a ton of quotes in the last year from about 20 vendors. These guys really are amazing. I never give a review unless I've actually used them for the work but i'm so blown away that I had to leave a positive feedback even before getting started. read more

The same day that our AC broke down, David was able to install a new thermostat and capacitor in less than half an hour. When it broke again two days later, he came by, found the problem, and fixed it for free! (Drainage was backed up due to excess condensation forming on the unit as a result of being running all the time) Great service and very affordable! read more

My ac started to make a loud noise. It rattled my whole house. It was awful. Tech came out a bit late but I was informed he was behind schedule. It happens. He was professional. He didnt recommend I do anything. He didn't tell me I needed 50 other things like when you take your car to the mechanic. Well my ac didnt work the next day.
