Atmosphere: Lunch (1:30) one table of two people. Should have known it would not be good. Very very very small store. Decoration is...questionable. Service: Service was quite slow, but the girl in front was nice and did absolutely everything she was supposed to do. Food: oh boy... So we ordered popcorn chicken, fried squid, fried zucchini, and honeydew slush with boba. Popcorn chicken was so chewy and not as good as other places. The fried squid was the worst. It tasted like tough frozen fish cake bleh so gross. The zucchini was acceptable. The first time I have ever tried spicy fried zucchini. I still do not understand why people cannot keep the batter on the zucchini. It slips off and you are left with limpy, runny, mushy zucchini with yummy batter that would be much tastier ON the actual zucchini. Lastly the honeydew slush. Decent. Probably the best thing we tried. I could still get the same thing somewhere else. The portions were WAY too small for the price. I feel like the Togo orders get less because 4 bucks for a palm size portion is not acceptable. I will probably come back and try other things because they have a delightful variety of snacks. I asked the employee for a recommendation for which milk tea I should get and it was obvious the employer did not know the menu. I finally decided on the coco almond milk tea and the first sip was utterly disgusting. My friends tasted it too and were disgusted. The after taste was not pleasant at all. Just recently bought my boba around 2:10 after midnight. Very satisfied w my drinks. The last time i cam here was about 5 years ago. So i did not have any memory about the place. But tonight I decided to go back here again. I did not know what I want specifically, so the cashier girl recommended the chocolate yogurt snow for me, which was the most wonderful chocolate blended that Ive ever drink. My cousin got a honeydew milktea, which was very good too. The cashier girl was super nice, always smile plus she told us that if we did not like the drinks, just tell her and she would do it again for us. I am 100% satisfied w this visit. Keep it up guys! First time here and it feels like a knock-off version of "Lantern Grill." Please go there though, they have better prices. My partner & I ordered 2 drinks--I believe they were called Sunset Tea & Autumn Bloom (regular size). For the price, being $4.42 (with tax for EACH drink coming out to a grand total of $9.53), the size and taste were quite below average. Never have I paid so much for two tiny cups of teas in my entire life. Sharetea, Tastea, or even Tebo's prices are lower and their cups are MUCH larger... Seriously "Dragon Fly" bar, fix your prices & flavors or you'll continue to lose customers. Seriously... how is a simple tea drink almost as much as your food menu items?? This business has changes ownership several times but thankfully they always continue to keep serving boba drinks. They offer a bunch of flavors and you can also mix in as many as you want at no extra cost. However, I always stick to the Strawberry Pina Coconut mix because I'm afraid that I am going to dislike the other flavors. It would be cool if they offered to sample a "flavor of the day" or "Staff pick".... something along those lines in order to taste more options from the menu. The staff is ok but they seem too vanilla (no pun intended), they just don't talk much. The cafe is small but trendy. They also have different deals going on most of the time, including a punch card option. I really wanted to like this place but the customer service was bad, the girl at the register was not friendly, my friend and I order the sunset and the rainbow tea which is suppose to come with the basil seeds. Decent drinks, but the service was terrible. We ordered after 1 and the place was still pretty lively with students studying and chatting. The worker, however, had a really obviously poor attitude, stared at us after we ordered until we said "that's all" and paid, did not give us a receipt, and basically pushed our drinks to us and waited for us to leave. If you don't want to serve drinks at 1, don't hold business hours until 3 AM. First off the selection of bolba drinks is amazing. They have so many different variations and flavors that we had to sit down with the menu and try to decide what we thought would be the best flavor. Their food menu was also very good but we didn't eat this time but we have ordered the chicken bites before and they're definitely the go to for their food. They are some what fast when they're not busy which they are regularly atleast whenever we go. Our wait was less than 15 min this time and we didn't mind the wait with the music and wifi available. We decided to drink our bolba there and it was nice vibes and didn't feel rushed to make room like a lot of places that are open late would do on a Friday night. The service was great and quick and the server knew about the flavors and foods we asked about. We chose a passion fruit slush with a milk tea drink, both with bolba. Both were very delicious and went down fast as all hell lol. We drank them so fast we decided to order another except this time kiwi and raspberry flavored. These were just as good if it better than he last and we loved it even more. This place is a staple in the area and is usually always packed but we got lucky. I'd go again and will soon go again with friends after we eat as a nice desert to cool off. I'd recommend and have to many friends and family. This place is great and I'd miss it if it was gone. It's right next to a flame broiler and other restrarunts so it's a great place to eat or come after and enjoy a great desert type drinks with great tea and fruit flavors. I'll definitely be back. The scenery inside was kinda dark. Which is okay but you almost don't know where the cashier is at. I decided to order my usual, milktea with boba. And I ordered fried tofu to try it. But oddly enough, I didn't know where there menu was at? The cashier himself gave me a pull out menu to see the drinks etc. I went along and ordered. I'm guessing when you pay with cash, there's a 6% discount? Lol so I paid with cash. I asked for my item as to-go So I figured they would be a little quick about my order, which they did about 10 mins I tried my milktea once I was already in my car, sadly I was kinda disappointed. The milktea was a bit over sweet and wasn't milky or creamy like i usually have them. The boba also was sweet. So my palette wasn't prepared for this haha. The drink itself reminded me of sweet water with a little bit of milk. Getting to work, I tried the tofu and let me tell you, it was really crispy but the tofu itself was kind of dry. I like the consistence of the crunch but that could be because they probably double battered it or flash fry it? And they gave me soy sauce with it, again not the way I'm use to, normally for me it comes with a sweet chill sauce. Lol In all honest, this place probably has good drinks and snacks but for my experience It didn't remind me of my usual tea bars from Cerritos :/ Then again, I shouldn't judge because all places are different in there own ways. I just moved to Orange and needed a boba fix... Yelped places under boba and dragonfly came up with good reviews... So we decided to try it out... This place closes late too! Total Plus side... I tried the almond snow with grass jelly... my typical order at every boba places... It was soooo good and total thirst quencher!!! and if you pay CASH you get 6% off... Parking is not bad at all... it's in a pretty decent shopping center next to an in & out and 24 hour fitness... I have to say... I've had better popcorn chicken... Had the coconut/strawberry snow (less sweet) and it was really sweet! The coconut snow was good but the strawberry concoction was syrupy and way too sugary thus making the whole drink too sweet. For the price (~$4.50 for a small) I was expecting something really good. Seating is very minimal, layout of shop was awkward, cleanliness was subpar. Delicious! My friend and I came in here the other day. The place is very clean and welcoming and decorated nicely. The staff was pleasant and was very patient since it was my first time. I ordered a large lavender tea to find that it was happy hour so I got another free! Same size too, I was excited and it was absolutely delicious.
