WOW!!! WTF!!! Really? Are you guys serious? Message to the owner: H. Nguyen: why are you being such an abusive and cheap Vietnamese business owner. Conditions are so poor inside this place, it was very hot and humid. The employees were sweating a lot and you can see that their shirts were drenched in sweat and there was sweat dripping from their heads. Did you guys drip sweat all over the food, drinks too, cups, equipment, utensils, etc.? It is also dirty inside, what is going on with this place? You guys do not obey labor standards, you guys do not obey health codes, and I am pretty sure that whole discount thing for paying with cash is so that you can evade taxes and falsify your business revenues (it's very obvious when you keep encouraging everyone to pay with cash instead of credit card). Many customers were complaining about it being extremely hot, the sad thing is that it's much better outside. Several customers left after not being able to deal with it anymore. So you guys do not care how employees feel and how customers feel? Wow!!! Get your head out of your ass and think a little, this is not rocket science!!! It's common sense!!! I was amazed that several customers were sitting there with their laptops, how they were able to handle it and were able to focus on work/studies was simply amazing. We sat and waited for our orders and within about 10 mins I was already getting light-headed and had a headache. Please review the labor standards: "Regardless of business size, the minimum temperature for indoor workplaces is 68 degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum is 76 degrees Fahrenheit [...] employees also have the right to request an OSHA inspection and protection from retaliation and discrimination, after reporting an unsafe working environment." I'm writing this based of the customer service. I was sick this past weekend and wanted a good tea. My birthday was yesterday and spent it in bed. I noticed this place had good reviews and even a birthday drink! I came to redeem my drink today and the guy at the register rudely told me it had to be the day off to redeem. Mind you I told him I was there because I was sick and he disregarded that, and stuck to him just saying you had to come yesterday. Sorry buddy I wasn't going to crawl out of my bed SICK on my birthday just for a free drink. I paid for my drink and went on my day. It's not that I just wanted a free drink, it was the disregard and lack of empathy that he failed in customer service. It's easy to loose customers that way, and although you might think it's just one, one starts adding up. So I order the traditional tea ADVERTISED: COMES WITH A SLICE OF CITRUS AND MINT LEAVES. And I get mine with no mint leaves. I then ask for mint leaves and he again rudely says we don't put mint leaves in them. I asked if I can have mint leaves and he said they don't have mint leaves at all. Kinda weird for a TEA PLACE. Never coming back and definitely passing on the word. read more

Been to this place a couple times, very nice and friendly staffs. Especially Lisa, super friendly and helpful! Her smile will definitely brighten up your day ! :)) The drinks here about the same prices as Starbucks and Jamba Juice, but their quality is a lot better than your typical boba places that uses cheap products. I've only had the pleasure of visiting the tea house after midnight, and in the wee hours the staff continue to operate efficiently. Depending on the time of year and the current state of the local community college you may fine this place packed even after midnight. Teas are usually very sweet, don't be afraid to ask for no sweetener or for it on the side. Don't come here expecting traditional hot teas, or for a lounge environment. There is a small collection of booths and bar tables, but nothing overtly comfortable. The best part about this place is the hours really. read more

Don't see why there are so many negative reviews. I come here at least weekly and my only complaint is that once or twice my tea was still kind of warm even though there was ice in it. Most of their drinks are too sweet for me but you can ask them to do half sweet or less if you want. 10/10 because they're open so late which is especially nice for day that i'm in class until 10pm when everything else is closed. You know when your five-year-old cousin makes you a drink and insists that you drink it? And as much as you'd like to refuse, you can't. You drink it. The powder to water ratio is off...it's bland...you want to vomit... I'd say the milk tea here is of similar caliber to that drink. I ordered the green milk tea with boba. The guy made it at a record-breaking speed...he barely took a minute to put it together. He picked up a cup, opened up a fridge, scooped up some boba, and poured tea in the cup. A flurry of questions stormed my mind. How long was that boba hanging out there? How old's that milk tea? Does he know I'm watching him break a Guinness World Record? It was a little unsettling, but hope still existed within me. I've enjoyed (and questioned the freshness of) boba from other places that also make their drinks quickly. All that hope vanished when I took my first sip. The milk tea was terrible- I don't need to go on about that. The boba tasted equally terrible. There was a weird cloud that enshrouded each boba ball. If boba resembles Ghastly from Pokemon, you know it's been soaking in some liquid for a little too long. Other than the terrible drink, since it was Labor Day, I called in to see if they were open. I let the phone ring for a while, and no one answered. Since I was near the place, I decided to swing by and check if they were open. Surprise! They were open. Surprise again! They weren't even busy. Maybe it was a bad day for them. Maybe their other drinks are amazing. But the quality of that milk tea was enough to deter me from giving this place a second chance. The cocotoro milk tea is really good! Maybe because I'm Vietnamese and it tastes a lot like Che. My hubby likes it because they use non dairy creamer and he's lactose intolerant. The prices are a little higher than average but they say they use high quality natural ingredients so the justifies the price. This place is usually busy at night when I arrive in my PJs and no makeup on getting my fat cravings of boba in. So be forwarded if you care about looking like crap in public and it's 11pm and you want some boba, maybe put some pants on instead of your hello kitty shorts. I ordered the beef minced wrap (light meals) for the first time and it was not as i expected. They gave me an actual 1 beef wrap and a medium sized whole lettuce like the ones u get from the grocery stores, I was just disappointed about quality and presentation. I might as well buy and make my own and spend half of the price. The food was ok - flavor wise i just dont know what was the black thingy mixed with the beef. I wouldn't buy it again. Decent place to get work done! Gets a little noisy, but not ridiculous. The drinks are basic, and service is good. The workers are friendly and helpful. I always want to have a Taiwanese snack place around my office, but this place disappointed me so much that I have to put a review on it. I been here 4 times and twice left disappointed. Their drinks are acceptable, not strong flavor or memorable. However, food is where they get one stars. First time I came here for lunch they told me their food are not prepared. 1pm and rice dishes are not prepared? No sign anywhere says food only served at night. Alright, I will come next time. One day I called at 12 noon to make sure they have food and rice so I can bring my coworkers to have lunch there. The gentleman said they service food all day. OK, I came today at1:20 " sorry sir you can't order rice dishes because we are still preparing the rice" Really? What happened about derive rice dishes all day?
