Review is for the breakfast buffet that is included with staying at the Legoland hotel. Currently, you must reserve ahead of time via OpenTable. They have a QR code you can scan if you do not have the app. We had reservations at 9am. There was a line to check in. We had 2 groups of 4 people and they were able to accommodate us despite being super busy. Fairly decent variety of food...waffles, French toast, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage eggs, fruit, cereal, salad. Fountain drinks were available. Coffee and tea is located near the bar. Everything was pretty good. Waffles were a little dry since they sit out. French toast is more fresh. Service is awesome and friendly. A server noticed a parent trying to settle a child down from crying. He went out of his way to get the food for the mom himself and brought over a nice plate of French toast and fruit for the child. The child was hungry and stopped crying and ate. That was such good service! Staff clear tables quickly to help get more guests seated. Again, it's so busy with all the guests. They do a great job managing all the chaos. Please leave a tip when you leave. The staff definitely deserve it. read more

The busser at the front was extremely rude. No she does not own dragons den just white privileged ! If I did not have family she would make me wait forever with my broken leg even after having a reservation. She was very accommodative to all other white people but when it came to anyone colored not just her tone changed but refused to even look eye to to have the conversation it was like shooing you away .. someone needs to tell her we are paying for her rubbish service . read more

Food is good and service is fast. The buffet gets very busy on weekends can be overwhelming and hard to take kids through the line as there are no trays, and drinks are in an inconvenient place. Regular restaurant hours has great food, good vegetarian options, could use a few more. Drinks at the bar are good too. read more

My family and I stayed at the hotel two nights and had two breakfasts here. Amazing buffet options with delicious food. Everything we tried was great. There were even sautéed veggies you could put on eggs (I did this and added salsa) or in a wrap. Loved it all! The hosts were super great as well and I could see everyone working really hard to keep the area clean as it was busy with kids. Loved the family atmosphere and I did not feel like a burden at all (as can be the case sometimes with kids in restaurants). Everyone was kind and welcoming. read more

Our food was delicious! I would suggest they make the coffee stronger because it was so watery and it would be nice if they had more food variety. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was delicious, only pancakes were chewy. I would like to make a shout out to 2 people: Erin whom impressed us with her friendliness as she nicely greeted us, asked how our day is going and if we are enjoying our stay. Food is mediocre at best, even for overpriced hotel food which is what we were expecting. Worse though is they make you get a "reservation" to eat, purportedly to avoid crowds, but when you show up at your appointed time slot, you'll find a line of people you have to stand in with your kids while they fail to enforce any mask mandates. They allow sick kids in the restaurant coughing in the middle of a pandemic. Got one in front of us now. Do NOT trust your children with these people. All the common sense safety measures they said they had that made us comfortable booking were a lie. read more

Prices - Overpriced in my opinion. Food - Food isn't that great kinda dry on some items and morning buffet selection wasnt as great. Service - Service is decent a bit slower than what I would expect but not too bad. Venue - Cool waiting area with tons of legos for the kids to play with, lots of lego decor around the place and a secition to watch movies while you eat. Place is a bit bigger than what it looks like and kept clean. Overall would only come back if I stayed in the hotel and was too lazy to drive out for dinner. read more

For a theme park I would say the food is pretty good. I like the mediterranean flatbread pizza. It's packed with toppings and fresh!! My brother had the Dragon burger and it's very delicious as well. We love being able to eat while our kids build legos and enter the mini lego building contest. Our Waitress, Mindy and bartender Edgar were amazing!! Edgar is one of the best bartenders they have. He made a delicious lemon drop. Mindy made it a big deal to help us celebrate my husbands birthday! They were both amazing and I would go back just to visit them!! We are here for breakfast and lunch and enjoy our meals! But keep in mind that you still have to reserve your slot to open at at their restaurant. Their breakfast is amazing! It's a buffet style and they had so much to chose from. It was a hit with my whole family and we enjoyed it for the 3 days we stayed here. Lunch was also really good! It wasn't busy at all and way more peaceful to eat here then inside legoland. Service was amazing and if we need something we could find some very quickly and would get said item fast. There's plenty of seating inside and outside which is really nice and clean. My kids loved their lego area and it was an incentive for them to eat quickly so they could go play with legos and other kids. It was also a good distraction for kids and adults could enjoy their food and still keep an eye on them. Also don't forget to bring lego figures to trade with the staff! I'm reviewing this place surprisingly with 5 stars because it hit all the marks and wow I was expecting mediocre from a theme park restaurant outside of what my Disneyland expectations are (high, because Disneyland is a place for foodies if you all weren't aware). Once you get past the fact that this place first comes off as feeling very "cafeteria"-like with the tables and chairs indoors, the food impresses. I'm glad we didn't turn away. The outside patio seating was open and the dining furniture was just the regular wood slat tables and wood slat chairs, nothing special or anything. The table is quite high for a toddler whose outgrown a high chair for over a year but the structure of the table makes his knees run into the dropped sides of the table with the booster seat. We opted to lay down a picnic blanket we had zipped up into our wagon, to pad his shins and knees since sitting on his bum was too low. Expectations exceeded due to: Creative menu (it's changed "post" covid) Prompt seating Prompt service Food was FLAVORFUL and delicious! Honest juice for the kids meals. Drinks were strong and tasty! The wait staff offered the chef to come out to talk to me about a vegan preparation for the Farmer's burger but I opted to eat vegetarian tonight. My husband had the dragon burger with fig and bacon jam, and reported it was juicy and surprisingly tasty, with sea salt fries. I wish they had a beyond burger option with fig jam (without the bacon) bc this could've easily been vegan, just as a nudge for the future. I got the Farmer's burger which was eggplant, roasted pepper, red onion, zucchini, a tasty aioli and a brioche bun with fruit. My kiddo had the cheese pizza with fruit. My burger was unbelievably tasty! I honestly was expecting the vegetarian option to simply be thrown together to please the vegetarian crowd but it was beyond tasty. The veggies were roasted so yummy. My kiddo's cheese flatbread pizza was the artisanal type, not a from-frozen round type with burned edges. No this was quite well prepared with a soft flatbread crust and gooey Tri blend cheese. The fruit for both were grapes cantaloupe honeydew and pineapple and were all really ripe and juicy. The food came out in less than 10 minutes and our server was quick but not overbearing. We ordered the Spice King-Arita or something like that which was a silver tequila, cucumber, jalapeño syrup, with a tajin rim. It was impressive, not weak, and delicious. Would definitely come again. Don't turn away from this place because you figure it's a rip off being in a theme park hotel. The draft and bottled beers are overpriced but the cocktails are stiff and creative, and their food is quite reasonably priced since their servings are hefty and the burgers sure do pack a punch! read more

(2 adults, 3 children) upon arrival hostess ask waiters "can anyone seat a table of 5?" Another waitress said "I'm dealing with another customer" (red flag) unprofessional. So We waited... FINALLY! - waiter brought us to our table. We put in our drinks order right away. I order one glass of CABERNET. hubby and kids just had water. When food arrived it was cold. My husband ask for the cheeseburger to go back as the cheese taste like it was just grab from the fridge & got thrown on top! (Nothing changed when it came back) so he didn't touch it. I order the New York steak and ask for it be cook medium. It was the worst steak I've ever had!! I think my 7 year old can cook better steaks! The bill came and I got charged for 2 CHARDONNAYS??? I order a CABERNET!! Red opposed to white wine! One hostess told the other hostess while laughing party of 13? That's alot. She didn't know I was paying attention, so I told her yes party of 13, my husband, my kids, grandkids and my kids significant others. It is a family hotel right? It's actually a blessing to have a party of 13, some people don't have anybody. These girls at the front should smile and greet you like they wanna work there. Our server took forever to take our order, food took a long time to come out, they messed up on a order and we didn't see the server after that. Of course they are not going to be a good server the tip automatically came out to $54.$54 to take our order and that's it?! Horrible! We had a reservation and Tori at the hostess stand was super rude and said we didn't have a reservation so I had to pull it up and prove it on open table. So we came back five minutes before our reservation time and they're taking walk ins!!! Well we finally get taken to a table and my 2 children are given traditional adult menus. I thought it being Legoland that they'd at least have some crayons and a coloring menu for kids. The restaurant was filthy. The tables surrounding us all had stacks of dirty dishes on them and food all over the floors. The food was meh and very pricey, but to be expected for theme park food. Mac and cheese was good according to my 7 year old. It came with a choice of fruit or fries and I asked if I could get him both (trying to get something healthy in) when the bill came the fruit was $6.49!! That's half the price of the kids meal! I thought maybe $3 or $4. The lemonade was watered down and no refills on milk. My burger was fine and the coffee martini helped get me through the experience. Definitely won't be coming back. This is a very nice family restaurant to visit when staying on Legoland property. It is lego-themed to match the Lego Castle Hotel. The menu offers kid friendly food but also Salmon and steak for parents looking to indulge. They also offer a full bar and wine list. The quality of food was very good! Reservations are recommended at this time. We made ours for just before park close so it was a great way to end our day at the park. There is a lego building station in the waiting area to keep kids busy while they wait. Service was good. Every request we made they fulfilled. They accommodated us as a large party. I was nervous about coming here after seeing all the negative reviews, but was pleasantly surprised! It's definitely a theme park restaurant, but on the nicer side. There's a kids play area, and everything is castle themed of course. The food was tasty - I had a roasted vegetable sandwich which was like ratatouille on a brioche bun and very well prepared with a nice balsamic glaze and came with a side of perfectly ripe melon. My kiddo had mac and cheese with French fries, and we split a chocolate cake. Compared to the usual theme park offerings, the meal was reasonably healthy and not too expensive, and had the addition of fun kids entertainment. I was shocked at how much we enjoyed our meals here! At first glance, it reminded me of the kids arcade and pizza places, which I detest. But we had a delightful experience! The staff do an amazing job at giving each child a magical experience. What more could we want at the Legoland Castle?! We decided to do dinner at the new hotel and walk into Brick or Treat after. The hotel was packed but we made reservations ahead of time and had no issues being seated. Hooray that you can have a cocktail with the kids! Apple juice, orange juice, milk, chocolate milk options for kids. Ambiance It's made for kids which makes it way easier to bring your kids and not go crazy. They have a devoted area at the front of the restaurant for kids to play. There is a pit of legos. There are also TVs around the place with cartoons on. On each table is a game that you can play if you get a handcuff of legos-checkers, tic tac toe etc. Reservations Highly suggested. You can call, do in person, on the LEGOLAND app, or outside the restaurant there is a screen that you can place a reservation Kids Yes, yes, and yes. I don't know if I would go there without my kids. Overall We made reservations and did not experience any of the issues that other reviewers had. Our server was excellent-attentive, engaging. He even suggested that he could bring out the kids meals before our burgers. If you have kids and want to take a break from LEGOLAND for a sit down meal, highly suggest this spot. However, their phone number goes nowhere ("we're sorry, your call cannot be completed. Please try again.") when the restaurant is closed, so that's really frustrating. We forgot something at the restaurant and couldn't call to check, so left a sour taste on the whole evening. read more

People! Dragon's Den is getting a bad wrap. After reading the reviews I was scared to eat there but we did it for the kiddos. Haha. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Food was solid! Kids had pizza and if came with cut up fruit/melons. I had the arugula, apple, Brie, balsamic drizzle flatbread which was very yummy. Adding pepper flakes made it even better. There is a lot of adult beverages for parents including Caymus Cab which shocked me. I would definitely eat here again next time we stay at the hotel for both the fun decor and solid food and adult beverage selection. read more

Breakfast buffet here is terrific on so many levels, let me just tell you. If your staying on the property it's right there, no driving included. As a guest of the hotel, it's included in your stay. There's a varied and plentiful selection of kid friendly items, plus your server will take individual orders for juice, tea, coffee, pancakes including those with chocolate chips and omelets. Lox, bagels, yogurt, meats, eggs, cereals, oatmeal, muffins, I could go on and on are all on the buffet! As a tip, get there before 8 as it can get crowded.
