Daniel came out to inspect and could not locate the leak, but could hear it. Suggesting a little bit of time for the leak to come to the surface, it finally showed itself on our lawn. Dillon came out and located the leak, repaired, tested and advised the system is now closed and no leaks evident. Daniel and Dillon are very conscientious and thorough in their work. They are great to work with and I trust them to complete the job and at a fair price. You definitely will not feel cheated, and they will explain all details related to the job. they are my "go to", in terms of plumbing and honesty.

He constantly emphasized how much work he believed was involved, seemingly thinking I lacked knowledge about the process. Additionally, he refused to provide a quote on Yelp, possibly aiming to give me an inflated price in person. He then proposed a charge of "$1,800.00" for the job!!! I reach out to another licensed plumber in yelp as well, they were professional, honest, and confident in their work. They ended up charging me only $600.00 to complete the job! For my interaction and experience with Mr. Daniel, I cannot recommend Purpose Plumbing.

The first time they tried to charge them over $2000 for a simple broken PVC water line. Now they are trying to charge $250 for a flush kit on a tankless water heater that has either a faulty element of faulty sensor. THESE PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTE THIEVES! When I called him on it he picked up and left in a hurry. So he knew he was in the wrong.

Their technician, Raul, arrived and turned the water back on. He saw there was no runoff and explained that the issue likely resulted from a water pressure spike. He measured my line at 110 psi, confirmed water pressure was a concern, and pointed out that the water pressure valve regulator needed to be replaced. Raul then called the insurance company. In his initial report, he only mentioned that the failure was due to high water pressure, but he did not mention the faulty pressure valve regulator, resulting in my claim being denied. After I contacted the insurance company to explain, they reopened the claim so Raul could submit an amended report. This time, he included the pressure valve regulator but claimed that its failure was due to "abnormal" water pressure from the water district. Because he described it as "abnormal," my claim was denied again. I called the San Antonio Water System and confirmed the local pressure goes up to 150 psi, which is why a regulator is necessary, but my Watts valve is rated up to 300 psi. The city's water pressure is not "abnormal"--the regulator was simply faulty. Raul's failure to report the facts clearly and accurately--in both his initial and amended reports--shows a lack of prudence and professional responsibility. His actions led to my claim being denied twice. Why did Raul act as the expert on how SAWS manages its water pressure systems? What qualifies him to make such definitive judgments about city infrastructure? Homeowners expect technicians and their companies to provide fair, honest assessments that truly help resolve issues, not make the process harder.

I said so the toilet flushes if you hold the handle down for 60 seconds. I retorted that that why I called. It only flushes if you hold it down. He said the toilet is plugged. I said that's why I called. He said he can't clear it. I said so you did half of the work so I will give you half 147.50. He stood and stared at me for 20 minutes. I turned on the tv and started watching the sopranos. He went outside. I expected him to write up the invoice for 147,50. I went out after 10 minutes. He was just sitting there. I said, Jason my argument isn't with you. You seem to be a gentleman. Write an invoice for 147.50 and I will discuss with your office which wasn't answering his calls nor mine. He took 30 minutes to basically write a book on the invoice. I wrote that I don't agree with anything written by him on the invoice. I circled and double underlined that amount and signed it. I just want the toilet unplugged and will call a more honest local plumber.
