Tucked away in an industrial building, Drifters Cafe is a hidden gem with plenty of seating, making it a great spot for local students looking for a quiet place to study or meet for group projects. The ambiance is calm and welcoming, also making it a nice place to catch up with a friend over coffee. We tried the Dirty Chai Latte with a shot of espresso and the Harvest Green Smoothie--both were delicious and well-balanced in flavor. They also offer a solid selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, which we'll have to try next time. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that it can be a little tricky to find at first, given its industrial location, but once inside, it's a cozy and inviting space. We'll definitely be back!

First time coming here in town visiting family. I love looking for little small places to eat and drink coffee. I had the salad my husband had a sandwich. Coffee and tea were really good. It had to be great my husband kept saying it was. And he doesn't give compliments very often. Quiet little place would definitely come back next time .

The family & I are in Massanutten for a fun weekend away, but just couldn't handle the resort prices anymore. We decided on Drifters Cafe for breakfast because I saw coffee flights (thanks Yelpers!). They are real & basically 4 small coffees for $13. INCREDIBLE! My husband who doesn't like coffee, but enjoys a good chocolate mocha asked me to put the white mocha on the flight then we had caramel macchiato, dirty chai latte, and horchata latte. Hubs drank the white mocha giving me just a sip to try (). It was delicious! So was the carmel and horchata. The dirty chai latte fell short for me. It was missing that christmas in a cup feel. Maybe not enough cinnamon? Not sure, but it was missing. We also had the loaded bagel sandwich, wraps, and a bagel croissant. All were scarfed up by my hungry brood. Ambience is industrial coffee house. It's bright, well lit, and I love that the tables aren't super close together. It's a bit tricky to find. It's behind the building that has a kitchen place attached. The team brings your coffee and food to your table. Very nice!

Great chill little Cafe. We tried the breakfast burrito and a smoothie. The staff was quick and nice, the burrito was a good fresh mix of veggies, fresh eggs, sausage and a spicy mayo.

Cute coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating. Matcha wasn't too sweet, very good!

Great all around find! Cozy vibe, great service, great breakfast sandwiches, and yummy drinks. Was pleasantly surprised by how much it was 10/10 all around.

Amazing coffee and food, great prices. Spacious ambiance with lots of light. Good wifi for studying. Buy 6 coffees and get one free! Try the dirty chai latte with espresso. Friendly service.

Saturday brunch coffee flight and my girlfriend got the breakfast tacos. All very good and would recommend.

When we walked in, we were greeted with a cheerful "good morning" by all four employees who were working that day. Throughout the entire ordering process, the staff was extremely friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Our subs were prepared promptly, and I've never witnessed such helpfulness and cooperation among employees. We sat down to enjoy our subs, which were, as usual, incredibly tasty, and we devoured them quickly. I want to emphasize that the employees were not only pleasant, kind, and helpful, but they also worked together seamlessly. ***They should be the model for how all fast food restaurant employees treat customers.*** I would like to recognize all four of these dedicated employees: Olivia Messin, Connor Mills, Seth Keister, and Austin Mayo. I can see that each of them has a bright future ahead in their careers. These employees embody the essence of the kind of young Americans we need to build a greater USA. The parents of all four of these young people must be incredibly proud of the excellent job they've done in raising their children and be incredibly proud of the excellent job they've done in raising their children.

An employee named Olivia told me she was in a rush to close and get home, and because of that, I wasn't able to order the sandwich I came in for. I completely understand that closing shifts can be long and tiring, but customers who arrive before the posted closing time should still be able to order from the available menu. It was disappointing to be turned away when the store was technically still open. I've had positive experiences here before, which made this interaction especially frustrating. I hope management can address this so future customers aren't denied service during normal operating hours. I did not want to pull the race card but it seemed to be the only explanation for her behavior. I'm willing to try this place one more time but service must improve. Go dukes!

I have now been to Cuban Burger twice almost three times. The third time we weren't offered a table as my daughter and I had 7 Brew drink in our hand so we didn't have lunch there that day. I will say that I love the flavors of Cuban. Everything I have tried has here been not but amazing. I loved their guava mint gingerale. Their Yuca with green sauce is amazing, along with the empanadas. The burgers and plantains are on point. I would love a cuban coffee added to the menu for after my meal. Here is why this review isn't getting five stars from me. The guy at the door is a little non-welcoming to put it nicely. I noticed it twice. He seems to make assumptions of why you are there. The first time was Sip and Stroll weekend when my husband and I entered the building and told us we should order from the window outside (assuming we were there for Sip and Stroll which we were not) when we were there for lunch. The second time I noticed was when my daughter and I were not offered a table as we had cups in our hands from 7Brew. He assumed we were there to pick up. Then after we said okay and turned to leave he is even yelling at us that there on signs on the door that state that (which we did not notice) so we couldn't bring them in. I totally get rules but I just feel he could have come across less harsh and perhaps we would have put them in the car and come back in for lunch. That day we decided to try some place different. I will say my server both times has been great though. The food has been great. I would like to come back but I am a little put off by the host guy. Not sure if we will try a new restaurant next time we are in town or we will give Cuban Burger a shot again.

There was a heater, so we figured we could stand it. The hostess rearranged the tables to seat us close to the heater, and left menus. Soon a waitress came with water and took drink orders. Not long after she returned to take our food orders. While we were waiting for the food, someone brought us some warm blankets. All through our meal people kept checking to see whether we needed anything. It was the best service I have seen in a long time, and I arrange a bi-monthly lunch outing for a club I belong to. The food was delicious. The salmon sandwich was incredible, the burrata appetizer was to die for, and I wish everyone had such good French fries. Everyone enjoyed their food and the warm welcome from the staff on a not very warm day.

The space is urban chic with a moderate sized dining room and small bar. I would describe the menu as "upscale comfort". Elevated pork chop, meatloaf, pasta for example. At our table we ordered the swordfish nightly special, the wild mushroom pasta, the pork chops, and the potato croquette appetizer. All were beautifully plated and delicious. We also had two exceptional glasses of Chardonnay, and some beautiful cocktails. We enjoyed our evening. This is a great place for a special night out without needing to be fancy or fussy.
