My sister took my word! and of course didn't disappoint her and the rest of the party. From the day 1 of planning with Anthony, back and forth of my request , he didn't even once thought of saying "i'm sorry we can't don't it or have to go to other suggestions" Everything went well , from the time we got there, even called 20 mins before we arrive to order appetizers so that it would be ready for the party, the HOSTESS and the WAIT STAFF were so attentive , accommodating and super nice. Everything was very good. We had vegetable (wrap substituted wrap for white toast) it was excellent , hubby had the prime rib baguette- delish. French onion soup- excellent. All was very good- we sat at the bar, Brook was our bartender. She could definitely be more attentive and friendlier. She spoke to the people she knew and paid attention to them but the rest of us at the bar who did not know her to not get much attention. IF she is a little friendlier and more attentive to the rest of the bar- i would give it 4 stars. We will be back and give her another Chi. First time here. Only complaint is parking... if you can get past that you'll have an amazing dinner. Started with Drinks: Pomegranate martini for my girlfriend and a Guinness for me. Appetizers were the Baked Stuffed clams. For dinner she had the Caesar Salad with Grilled Salmon and I had seasoned grilled skirt steak (medium)... Everything was perfectly cooked... tasted amazing. Our server did an amazing job staying on top of your drinks and ensuring everything was done perfectly... We will definitely will be back again. Also there is a drive up window to pick-up takeout. Always extremely packed and need to wait for a table. First time I came when they first opened the food was good. Just recently went and the food was a solid 5/10. We ordered the wings, bbq flatbread, and Mac and cheese balls. Wings were over cooked and cold, flatbread had very minimal toppings and was dry. Mac and cheese bites were the best part. Went here for dinner a few weeks ago. Really liked the ambiance. Beautiful bar! Was there with a friend. We ordered and shared a few appetizers. We each had a small cocktail. This is the go to spot for a bite or drinks in this area....here's why!!! Drifters popped up in the Ridge area not a moment too soon. People in the area would usually drive to Patchogue or down Middle Country Road for a good place to eat. Then appeared Drifters, an answer to the locals' prayers. I have tried apps, entrees, desserts and drinks a few times. I really like their apps, my favorite being the Mac and Cheese balls! So creamy with that spicy dipping sauce makes a great start to a meal. All the cocktails are crafted perfectly. Such refreshing combinations, not too strong and very tasty. My go to is the Grapefruit Elderflower Martini! It hits different! This place, while a great meet up spot or date night, is packed. It is always packed. Always a wait and hard to find a parking spot. No reservations accepted. So be prepared to wait a bit for a table. And sometimes, the steak needed some finishing salt. Otherwise, it's a perfect place to try. To start off we got seated right away. The staff was polite. Our orders were taken immediately. We had the steak nachos which were ok, not the best ! I've had better. It came with a small amount of steak and the melted cheese was in the bottom of the plate. It was not worth the price. On the other hand, the house poutine was amazing with the pulled pork ( it gave it a very nice juicy touch) . The waitress was nice but she had forgot to give us plates and utensils. Nachos were very good - used a homemade queso instead of shredded cheese. Lots of toppings, which is good. There was enough to handle the chips without leaving a pile of dry ones behind. Great food. Great atmosphere. We had the boneless Buffalo wings. Awesome and a good portion too. The mozzarella planks were good. The grilled skirt steak was a quality cut of meat but could have been seasoned better. Maybe some salt and pepper before grilling would have been the improvement needed. The chimichurri sauce was very mildly flavored and would have been better with a bit more vinegar for acidity. The grilled broccoli that came as a side was awesome though. The salads looked awesome as did the prime rib baguette sandwich. Next time, we will definitely be back. read more

I recommend everything about Drifters. I have been eating at places owned by the owners of Drifters for almost 20 years and the food is always amazing. This restaurant does not disappoint. Today I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich which was excellent. I had it with sweet potato fries that came with a maple aioli sauce that was to die for. Wow! I can't believe I waited a year from its opening to come here. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, from the outside to the inside, you are welcomed with a place that is appealing from a visual aspect. Then there is the food! Loads of tvs all around and even a portion that the walls open up so it feels like a outside dining experience. The service was fast and attentive. The food was phenomenal with big portions.
