Located on the East side of West Hollywood Javista is what appears to be the neighborhood cafe. It's two stories of earthiness that fits right in with the community. It is a good place to come if you work off your laptop, as there is plenty of space on the second floor. It ordered the strawberry match latte cold foam, and it as expected for a flavored matcha drink. The Strawberry syrup is made fresh in house, and you can definitely taste that freshness in the drink. You can also find miscellaneous items for sale throughout the cafe. Customer service was average. Nothing stood out, and I didn't get that warm fuzzy feeling, but they did take my order and get my drink preference right!!!! Overall I definitely would come back!!! read more

First time here & I stopped by to redeem my handcrafted drink, I ordered the Strawberry Matcha with oat milk & I absolutely loved it. It was perfect on the sweetness level, presentation was great I love the dried strawberries!! The sweet foam was delicious. The atmosphere here is very chill looked like everyone here was studying or getting work done, wasn't too loud and it was nice to cool off in here (it's been real hot lately). Parking situation was a lil tricky for me but there is a parking lot across the street for Javista customers. Employee at the register was very welcoming and friendly showed me the menu & advised me of a fundraiser they are having. It made me happy to see they were taking donations for Venezuela. This place was the spot the morning I came by. Good for them which means they're doing something very right. The first visit was great which of course another had to be made. I had some time to spare between appointments and what better way to do it than with a coffee and relax. Even in the morning it was packed. When we walked in, pretty much all the tables along the wall were occupied as well as the bar counter along the barista counter. Some hi top tables were available. Good sign for a place when it's packed in the morning. Line wasn't long which was nice. Everything is made to order, drink wise. All their coffee drinks as well as their hot tea has been amazing each time we've been. The pastries are from another source which I believe could be Urth Cafe. Service has alway been great and all the staff were absolutely amazing. Besides the coffee downstairs, there's also a second floor that house the gift shop. Beautiful arrangement plants, gifts, souvenirs for home or presents. There's something for everyone if you walk through and see what's around. Before heading upstairs, they also have some of the items at the base of the staircase too. I believe you could also take your drinks up as there some seating on the second level. A beautiful coffee shop as well as retail. Amazing items and great drinks. We need more of places like this in the city. Street parking is available but do read the signs as street cleaning varies on different day. Both residential and metered parking nearby. Will definitely be back again. read more

Asta la Javista baby! So will I be back here? Maybe. Caffeinated drinks and alcoholic beverages too?! Ok now this is definitely a party spot. Besides the drinks they also serve breakfast and lunch. They have an upstairs besides a spacious downstairs. I ordered the Espresso Tonic since there wasn't any type of drinks I haven't had before. It was pretty legit and refreshing. They also sell of bunch of cool little knick knacks as well as plants. The service or should I say the baristas were not friendly at all and that took away from the experience. If you don't want to be there then call off sick man. Other than that this is a pretty sweet spot to hang for a bit. The parking can be an issue depending on what time of the day you're going. It's been a bit since reviewing but I was quite inspired today at Javista. It is the perfect cafe. The atmosphere is easy going and in quite a central area, without the sense of being harried. I was helped by Lindsey, who knew everything I was asking and was quite gracious. She was also training other staff. The cafe is quiet, yet with great soundtrack. Great mix. I tried their drink, Golden Hour, which was full of flavor and the alcohol did not get in the way, which is the sign of a high quality drink. I also ordered the Burrata caprese sandwich. I had a lovely experience at Javista Coffee (West Hollywood). I ordered the Honey Lavender Latte ($8 - Iced). It's fragrant, chill, and quality coffee. The flavor of honey and lavender "POPS" without overwhelming the coffee. It's crafted skillfully. I couldn't hide a smile as I continued to sip. I arrived at Javista Coffee (West Hollywood) on Tuesday (around 7AM - Opening Time). Parking is primarily metered street parking or neighborhood parking. Parking is competitive, but spots will eventually appear. Staff (receipt says Daniel) is charismatic, professional, and knowledgeable. Daniel quickly answered all my questions, and Daniel worked hard. When I left a tip, Daniel even did a playful Mr. Krabs voice and chanted, "~money ~money ~money." My drink took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Honey Lavender Latte ($8 - Iced). I felt awake, and the flavors didn't overwhelm the taste of fresh, quality coffee. It's delicious. TASTY!! This is perhaps the best version of a honey & lavender coffee that I've ever had. It's lovely. On ambiance, Javista Coffee (West Hollywood) is a perfect study/work spot. I counted over 10 electrical outlets on the first floor, and the upstairs floor had a buffet of electrical outlets!! CRAZY amazing!!! There's also customer internet with password; details are taped flat by the counter's register. There's also a gender neutral restroom, and the music is very soft and wistful. It's a very welcoming, clean, and pretty spot. Overall, I left extremely happy and satisfied. Javista Coffee (West Hollywood) is one of the BEST coffee shops for study/work and drinking a quality brew. It's phenomenal. 5 out of 5. GO!!! read more

Crap I already forgot what this drink is called like a frogaccino or something. It's got adaptogen mushrooms just for my ADHD. It's pretty pricey but it's delicious. We'll see if it does anything but for now it just tastes good. Didn't even need to add sweetener or anything just good on its own. Popped in here on a Saturday morning for a quick iced latte pick up. The cafe is bright and inviting. Upon entering, there is a small gift shop area with lots of plants. The counter is straight ahead and I was pleasantly surprised to see beer and wine available. I would have taken pictures as I waited for my order but didn't because of the excellent customer service! I am so used to baristas taking my order and have them focus on getting through the line. That is when I explore and take pictures around the restaurant. The four people behind the counter were so friendly and held a conversation with me as they worked on my order. One in particular, Daniel, had the best energy and was very sweet. I immediately love the vibes in the space. As for the honey lavender latte- it was delicious! It is just amount of floral and sweet and I can taste the coffee. It was a perfect drink for spring. Neat coffee shop that's a great option for working/studying in the West Hollywood area! I came here to get some work done on a Sunday afternoon and my experience here was pretty good. The interior is clean and neat with lots of tables and places to sit as well as several outlets and WiFi. I don't think I've seen cafe with more outlets! For drinks, I ordered a simple iced americano and it was pretty solid. The roast flavor was good and enjoyable. It was pretty strong though and I was up all night! I also tried my friend's vegan matcha white chocolate muffin and that was pretty tasty. They have a single bathroom, but it was freezing inside. For parking, there's only paid street parking that I know of. Overall, good experience here and I would come back to try the food items and other drinks. read more

I can spend the entire day here (and I have). Great place to work from or meet up with people. Vibes are great. Staff is the best. The music is perfect - this is the only place I work without my headphones. The food and drinks are also fantastic. Whatever you're in the mood for will probably hit, and all the pasties are good, but here's everything I've had that I highly recommend: - breakfast burrito. It's one of the only burritos that fills you up without putting you in a coma. Also the black beans are a great touch. - avocado toast - ricotta toast (the absolute goat) - tahini granola bowl (possibly second place) - matcha - black coffee and cappuccino - Moroccan mint tea (real leaves in your cup) Only thing I wouldn't get again was the breakfast sando - not because it's bad, it's just the other items are much better (personal opinion) Can't miss with this place. Iced Chai with Almond Milk was spicy and yummy. Lemonade was perfectly sweet and tart. Atrium provided the plants in the shop and they occupy the second floor loft. I've been going to Javista in Hollywood for years, from the early days of the tiny but adorable Sunset Blvd location and then around the corner to their current larger digs on Highland. It's always been a place for great drinks (and pastries, sandwiches, etc.), outstanding customer service and a welcoming vibe. So I was super excited when I learned they were going to open in West Hollywood and that they had the opportunity to do a custom build. Of course, I had to go over on the first day to check it out. While I expected something great from Armond and David, the new location somehow managed to exceed my expectations. First, it's beautiful. The color palate is gorgeous, and the plants throughout the cafe (part of their collaboration with Atrium LA) take the environment to another level. Second, the physical set-up feels as if they reached into my brain and created exactly what I needed in a cafe. There is a beautiful counter with fabulously comfortable and supportive stools and LOTS OF OUTLETS for those of us who love turning cafes into our mobile offices. There are also a number of low-rise tables for gathering with friends, doing work with a group or whatever folks need. I'm told that some high-top tables and outdoor seating will be appearing in the coming weeks. If all this weren't enough, there's a lovely and tranquil plant and gift store just up the stairs. Not only does it look like a good place to pick up some carefully curated goodies, but it's also a nice spot to take a moment away from working. Of course, the drinks are on point--my ice mocha was just as good as the one at the Hollywood location (which makes one of my favorites in LA). The food menu is starting smaller during the soft opening--right now, there are a variety of sweet and savory pastries (I had a super tasty savory "danish")--but a more extensive food menu is in the offing, I'm told. Finally, no discussion of Javista would be complete without a mention of the staff; everyone is super nice, and you always feel as if you're in the presence of people who believe strongly in being hospitable hosts. This place is my daily spot to pick up some Joe and occasional begal. The coffee is always fresh and a 4 dollar cup is on par with a pour-over. The matcha latte is offered unsweetened which I like. All inside drinks are served in high quality mid century ceramic! The food menu is small but equally delicious. I recommend the garden begal and the prosciutto and Brie sandwich. Everything tastes garden fresh and served with fresh bread. Unpretentious staff that doesn't hesitate to smile and remember your name. Only negative I can think of is the outdoor seating is minimal and homeless walk bys are unavoidable. read more
