Great local spot with unique options. Friendly for doing work and comfortable. Liked to lite food options. Banana and Pumpkin bread was great. Got the Matcha. Nice tea.

I've been coming here since I was a college kid. It's great place for a date or studying. The high school kids can get a little loud if you try to work early in morning or after school gets out. They have all the coffee and tea needs, and their versions of Frappuccino(brain freeze). They also have tons of syrups For your tastebuds and seasonal items as well. The pasties are so good. You should also try their location in oak lawn as well!

Great place to get coffee! Lots of spacing to sit. Service is good and ambiance is great, it's near a lot of great places to browse and shop.

    Small Iced Oat Chai Latte

Just walking around on a Sunday morning waiting for my service to be completed at Firestone across the street. I was craving iced coffee and what do I see drippin' in finesse? Drip Coffee. Fancy me. I was charmed by the patio but passed on by, entered and ordered a small Iced Chai Latte (a fave). I had almost forgotten about my love for cardamom. For a dollar more I substituted whole milk for oat milk and that was a first. My beverage was sweet in taste and mediocre in quality. Sorry. I enjoyed it nonetheless. At almost $5 (due to my substitution) I honestly would have been happier with Starbucks. BUT...I am happy to support local. I probably should have went with an iced coffee. The vibes in the shop itself weren't as warm as I had hoped (could just be the customers). I got some looks like I didn't belong, but the cashier gave me zen-like vibes which gave it some balance. The music was relaxing; classical piano which could calm nerves with each sip. The place gets busy in spurts so they're either doing something right or the options are few. Get coffee, not tea!

First time coming to Drip Coffee on Lovers. Mobile ordered with their really nice simple app, drink was ready when arrived. Picked up my drink from a friendly barista, and drink was made right. Prices reasonable. Enjoying a nice refreshing tasty ice team lemonade. I even managed to get a soda here too. Nice medium noise with music environment. I look forward to coming back.

Was looking at giving this place a 4/5 BUT when they told me they had oat milk - I was in love! Great place with awesome staff - who help you with everything! Awesome drink selection - wish they had a few skilled baristas that excel in latte art - makes my soul happy (haha!)! PRO TIP- If you want to use the WiFi onsite, make sure you get your receipt because the password is at the bottom of it! ;-) Check it out!

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

Amazing coffee spot in a cool Walnut Hill complex…read more I like the vibe here and their coffee is always on point. I've only been during the day and always spend a little time working before a coffee meeting. The WiFi is always good and the coffee is great. The ambiance is very open and inviting as well. They serve small bites as well but I haven't really partaken. Additionally, I think they have several beers on tap and they appear to all be cool local brews. If you're looking for a good local coffee shop with a vibe, this may be your new spot!!

This coffee shop has quietly become my Dallas work-week crush…read more It's conveniently close to the office I'm using while I'm here, but the real draw is the vibe. Beautiful sunshine pours through big windows, there's a lovely park right outside, and the light is so good it feels like the café equivalent of a good hair day. Dallas weather helps, obviously--but this place knows how to use it. The space is lively without being chaotic. Plenty of outdoor seating, lots of indoor seating, and a very reasonable three-hour Wi-Fi window that keeps people working instead of camping. It feels intentional. People come here to stay, not hover in line. Speaking of which--there's never a line. They're clearly well staffed, everyone's efficient, and everyone is genuinely nice. Now, pastries. This is where they shine. A lot of unique options you don't see everywhere, and everything I tried was excellent. The almond croissant? Fantastic. The blueberry cake? A must-get. I went two days in a row (because obviously), and on day one they told me it was their most popular item. Day two, by 11 a.m., it was completely gone and kept selling out as soon as they tried to restock. That alone tells you what you need to know. The matcha is good--made from scratch, which I appreciate. Is it the best matcha I've ever had? No. It's better than Local Johnny's, but not quite on the level of Marin Coffee Roasters or Ralph & Rose. Still very drinkable and enjoyable, especially if you're settling in to work. What really sets this place apart is its personality. It doesn't feel like a cookie-cutter café or "insert minimalist coffee brand here." There's charm. Character. A little whiteboard with a joke about New Year's resolutions that made me smile. Small details, but they matter. Would I come back? Absolutely. I already did--twice. I'd recommend it especially for locals looking for a solid work spot, co-working with a friend, or anyone who wants to be productive without being bothered. If you're visiting Dallas briefly, this might not be a destination café--but if you're here for a bit and want a reliable, pleasant, sunny place to work and snack, this one's a yes.

Shoutout to the White Rock Coffee staff for welcoming us back with open arms, as well as introducing new drinks to us that were of high demand and interest. One, however, that really did catch my eye, was my all time-favorite: the White Rocker, which included two shots of espresso, whole milk, and their signature White Rock syrup.
