I'm going to give my honest review of this restaurant. Not a paid review or review for food. Firstly, they are not all that. I've been to several places that offer birria. By the name itself you would think they would be stuffed and juicy. However, my order was anything but. I thought to try them out because I pickup from them for UberEats all the time. They closed the truck spot on 1960. So when they opened in my area I was excited to try. Secondly, the price for the amount of food you receive should be looked over. I purchased the buy one get one free of the 5 tacos and get 5 free. With fees , ran me $40. The order itself is $20.99. Yes, you read that correctly. So when I opened the bag, I got food truck quality. Low budget food truck at that. The tacos are like half the size of your hand. Tiny. And they barely have meat in them. It's nothing like you would think the price would honor. Lastly, the restaurant is dead majority of the time. And now I can understand why. The service is ok in there but the food is just not all that great so people just pickup or order. All & all, I wasn't happy about the amount of food received for the price. I wouldn't order from Uber/Doordash. Those prices are crazy ! It's not better than Taco el Patron nor Norteno. If you want real , flavorful, stuffed birria tacos, hit those places up. First time trying Dripped Birria, and it was surprisingly good despite not knowing what to expect. Besides, I've been wanting to try Birria Tacos for quite some time now. First, I had the Birria Tacos w/ Consume and a lime. The Birria Meat was tender and flavorful. Dipped the Tacos in Consume, and that took the flavor to a whole new level. Second, I had the Dripped Fries, and it had a very unique flavor profile that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but it worked. The BBQ sauce was a sweet sauce, the sauces, the birria meat, and the cheese all worked well together. Lastly and surprisingly, my favorite dish of the day was the Birria Quesadilla. It's the same flavor profile as the Tacos, but it's topped with the green and red sauces with lime and pickled onions ( and I love pickled onions). I also dipped it in Consume and I felt like I was going to heaven. I will get everything again when I return. Maybe I'll try the Birria Ramen next time. You got yourself a new customer. As you enter the aromatic restaurant, you're met with two kiosks and a helpful gentleman in the front - both can help take your order. For my meal, I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos. The tacos were placed neatly alongside a few limes and the Birria sauce - the Birria sauce paired nicely with cheesy, tendered-meat tacos. This is absolutely some of the most repulsive food I've had in my life.... First time being in Houston trying the food scene and this is not a good start, i ordered the quesabirria tacos and quesadilla via DoorDash . First of all the quesadilla was soggy AS HELL looked nothing like the he pics on DoorDash and tasted absolutely terrible to say the least , the tacos were just as soggy with more cheese than actual meat, the meat that WAS present tasted like crayola crayons . The consome was decent and saved the day and made the first and last 2 bites of each somewhat appealing. Also my wife ordered ansome elote that was not bad i gave it a 5 which is surpassing the rest of the menu at this place. I can't speak on the service so I'll just assume that it is great given that the food was like this.... All and all i cannot say this was a great experience it in fact made my stomach hurt and waste $50 on professional trash food , i hope that changes are made to this restaurant for their sake and the future customers read more

I if you've never been to or passed by the galleria food truck park, it's near a busy road (chimney rock) and is place alongside a cul-de-sac with several no parking signs. It looks as if you "can" park there anyway but be weary. I happened to go at a point in the day where I could find "parking" but I'd imagine getting on the street and finding a place may be difficult during lunch hours or on the weekend so keep that in mind. The service wasn't good nor bad. It took about ten minutes to get my order and it was a pretty simple process. They take card so that's a plus these days. On to the food. I ordered the quesabirria taco and a horchata. You get three tacos with consommé and I believe pickled onions. It was tasty and the consommé was nice and warm. It felt like nice comfort food. We're they the best birria tacos I've had in Houston? No but I'd order them again. The pickled onions were a nice touch and the onions and cilantro were fresh. The horchata wasn't bad but it wasn't good. Probably won't get it again. Overall, I'd recommend this to others and would return since it's in the area. read more

I should have listened to all the previous Yelp reviews. This place was a bust. I ordered the dropped nachos on Uber eats, I'd been eyeing it for weeks. When they arrived, they were in on of those tiny to-go boxes, which I thought was strange for nachos. I opened them and was immediately disappointed, a few chips, brownish guacamole, separating sour cream and cold birria meat. To top it off, my chips were all soggy and bendy and stale. I asked for the queso on the side to avoid that, however it didn't matter. 10/10 do NOT recommend. It's not worth the money or the calories. There are better places than this! read more

I was there for the grand opening and I will say the tacos were delicious but I just went back today and I'm sad to report. I give them a 3 out of 10. For the past three days, I've ordered their birria fries (loaded fries with birria meat). This dish is perfect in my opinion. Tasty, meat is well-seasoned, spices balanced, and cheesy to top it off. My issue (which is why it doesn't get 5 stars), is the lack of consistency. For $14, I expect the dish to look the same (have the same quantity of fries, meat, spices) everytime I get it. I also think if substitutes are being made or the quantity is reduced, so should the price. The first day, I received a good, hefty dish, which sold me on the dish. Second day, there wasn't as much fries, but still a decent amount to justify the price. Tonight, the container is maybe 75% full with curly fries, instead of the traditional fries that I received previously. I'm a bit disappointed, but nonetheless can still appreciate the tastiness of the meal without the quantity. Transparency: Been eying this place for a while on all delivery sites. After looking at the price increase on all delivery sites, I decided to go pick up the order. When you get to the door, be warned! It's hugh and slow to close. The place has a cool dark vibe to it like it plays off the Houston hip hop scene. The menu is super simple. But for this....went easy on them! The haul: Birra Tacos with the Consome cup and Birra Ramen. The tacos were quite greasy! The presentation was good and overall the taste was ok. Not the best I've had, but not the worst either. Bedsides, the lime was hard and had no give to put out any juice. The Birra ramen was awesome!!!! The extra cilantro made this dish stand out like crazy! A lota meat and the right amount of heat and spice. I added more of the Consome out of the tacos for the juice. Their Birria Tacos are average but it's their chipotle sauce that really makes them taste good. Unfortunately it's overpriced for the portion size. Ordered through Doordash, the food was very fresh and delicious. I got the birria tacos with consome. It came with two small sauces (orange was very spicy and the Verde was mild). I was excited it came with a large slice of lime, but the lime itself was very dry and didn't have any juice (that's why I rated it a 4). Randomly decided to try this spot. It was our first time trying Birria tacos even though I've been aching for it for a few years now. The folks at the truck were super sweet and patient. They make it fresh so yes you do have to wait for about 10 to 15 mins. The quesabirria was really really good...especially when dunked in the soup. The cheese was ooey goey and they give plenty of protein. The elote was also quite good. Nothing out of this world but just right. The price is Fair. It was a late Friday, and the itch for Birria tacos started hitting. My girlfriend is from LA, and she was eager to try the Birria Taco seen from her Houstonian boyfriend. We pulled up the Birria taco joint, and you have to order from tablets that they have attached on the truck, so, no people-to-people interaction. We put our order in Quesabirria Tacos that comes accompanied by the soup. You pay directly through the tablet, and then we waited a good while. Honestly, we were not impressed with the food or prices. The three tacos were a bit bland, so was the soup that goes along with it. I decided to order the birria tacos with cilantro and onion on the side. The price was a bit high, but for a first time experience, It was acceptable. The wait time was reasonable, you just park your car at one of the pumps and wait. Personally, I was not a huge fan of the tacos. They weren't terrible, but the flavor didn't quite suit my taste.
