Came for lunch with my coworkers and I'm so glad we did. This little hole in the wall was a welcomed surprise. The waffles were, dare I say, the best I've ever had. So unique and amazing flavor. Didn't have any of their drinks but will plan to do so next time I visit. The owners are genuine and oh so nice. Highly recommend this pleasant little restaurant. read more

For coffees my bf got a mocha and i got a cold brew with oat milk. They added the perfect amount of milk and my bf said his drink was one of the best mocha he's ever had. They came out with new waffles too and my bf tried their avocado one. This is 11/10 if you're talking about an upgraded avocado toast. Usually I find a lot of places avocado toast to be overpriced for what it is but this is special . I really appreciate that it's a mashed avocado and had the perfect amount of spices and pickled veggies so that's not just bland avocado toast. Druthers coffee sits in a cute neighborhood serving coffee beans from Camellia coffee, I've had Camellias at their own location in comparison to Druthers, and the coffee here is uniquely theirs despite the same use of beans. They brew their coffee strong, and the flavors are bright to accompany their ambiance. The service is really welcoming and kind, and their sweet potato waffles are a hit! The texture is soft yet has a nice bit of resistance before biting into it. It's fluffy and moist while tasting very fresh. Hooray for a new coffee shop! I have never been in this neighborhood before and it looks like it would be a nice addition for those that live nearby. There are a couple of tables inside but you're better off at their outdoor seating with a bar top for standing & enjoying your coffee. The menu is very simple. I always like to order the specialty or seasonal drinks but they didn't have any here. I noticed they were selling Camellia coffee beans and one of the workers was wearing a Camellia shirt so maybe they're affiliated with them. My husband had a cappuccino and I just ordered an iced latte but didn't realize it was an extra charge until I noticed "sweet - 50 cents" on the menu. They also didn't ask if we wanted any type of specialty milk but I didn't see any on the menu either so I'm not sure if they have any. The prices are pretty standard but then again they're just simple coffee drinks so I'd hope they're not overpriced. The drink was creamy but nothing unique. It seems like they're known for the sweet potato waffles but when I asked the cashier, she said they wouldn't have it until next weekend. They had boxes of free donuts, I'm thinking maybe to make up for the lack of waffles. It got pretty crowded inside as people came in and out. I took up half the space and had to keep moving with my stroller and I couldn't wait outside because it was raining. The workers were all very nice and noticed she would come around to talk to people outside but didn't bother to stop at us. Seems like they've probably still got some things to work out, drinks took a bit longer and they were out of order because the people who ordered after me got their drinks first. I think normally I'd give 3 stars but I'm giving 4 stars due to it being grand opening day and giving them benefit of the doubt. I hope to come back if they have some new drinks and to try the waffles. read more

Cute little hole in the wall. Had the BLTA waffle and it was amazing. Unfortunately it'll be leaving the menu soon since tomatoes will no longer be in season, but I can't wait to see the other waffle types when other fruits come into season. Can't be mad with that since they only use ripe/in-season products to make the waffles that much better. So thankful for the vegan waffle option :) The flavor was nice and different, better than a normal waffle and not too sweet and they were soft and fluffy. My husband got the ones with non-vegan toppings and liked them but didn't need as much topping as they had. I was told they have vegan creamer and oat/almond milk as well. Grateful for this new spot in our neighborhood with very friendly owners! read more

This was my third time here. Everyone here is nice enough, but after today I won't be racing back here. The wait was long, everything we ordered and paid for came out wrong or missing ingredients and we weren't comped or offered anything to make up for the inconvenience. The coffee was mediocre at best. Their waffles are unique and tasty and I would recommend them usually but as an avid espresso drinker I would not recommend their espresso drinks and I would be VERY diligent about your order to ensure it's correct. read more

Came here for the first time to meet a friend for lunch. Neither of us have had it and we were both so pleased. This is by far the best waffle I have ever had in my life. I don't normally eat waffles so I ordered their savory BLT. I am not kidding these ingredients were so high quality and delicious on their own but when taking a bite of them all together was magical. I will be returning soon to show it off to my partner as it was the best BLT I have EVER had. read more

One word: yum. I cannot believe the waffles are gluten free and vegan. For once, I can eat a yummy comfort food that's actually guilt free. Peaches and cream is delightful but I like the plain one the best - simple, a tiny bit of crunch on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Coffee is tasty too. My fav is the cold brew. I've also had the drip and an oat milk latte, which are equally delish. Dig the vibe, decor, rad people who work there, and plentiful outdoor seating. This place is my jam. And my jelly. read more

A group of 30+ bikers arrived at Druthers this morning for waffles and we were not disappointed! So delicious. I had the cinnamon waffle, others had the berries and cream waffles and some had peach. I've been wanting to go here since I found out they existed. But the hours they started out with made it hard for me to get there. Now that they are open 7 days a week, I have a happy tummy. I got a Druthers coffee and peaches and cream waffle. The Druthers coffee was nice. It is not too sweet and finished with a hint of fruit and pepper. The waffle was great and didn't last long. Their prices are good for what I got. I'll be back soon! read more

My husband and I were in town for a work trip and after a long drive from LA were looking for a cute clean place with good coffee. Thanks to a quick search and scan of reviews we found Druthers - YAY! Delicious coffee and delicious waffles, couldn't resist trying the coffee cake cappuccino and coffee cake waffle even though was concerned they might be too sweet - they weren't! Also got the Alligator Pear which is basically avocado toast except the toast is a waffle - everything was so fresh! Grabbed a bag of their house coffee to go and look forward to trying it at home. Oh my gods, goddesses, and little green fairies, this place was great. As someone who can't eat wheat, these waffles almost made me cry they were so good. Came across this neighborhood coffee shop while house sitting in the area. They are extremely dog friendly which is a must in the neighborhood. Service was very friendly. Ordered the BLTA waffle - delicious! The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars was it took a bit to get my order and I had a crazy puppy on my hands. If you have the time to relax and sip your coffee while you wait, then definitely order the waffle. read more

Silk Egg 6.5/10 Interesting dish. Not what we expected. It's a poached egg over what almost tastes like a tzatziki sauce. Comes with a Chinese fried donut to eat it. Side of Fries 10/10 Perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The white sauce (assuming aioli?) we dipped it with was good. It's nice they rotate their menu. I look forward to coming back and trying other items.

We were immediately greeted by multiple staff when we walked in and seated right after. We arrived a little after 9am and it was already bustling, but it still felt homey. We ordered the Special which was a Carnitas Breakfast Burrito and a Lil Breakfast with an Over Easy Egg, Potatoes and Sausage. My husband also ordered a Bloody Mary. The food came out quick and hot - my husband really liked the burrito and it was massive, he ate half and I took the other half for lunch today. I loved the Lil Breakfast - it was the perfect amount of food. The real winner was the breakfast sausage links though - so so good, made in house and it shows! The coffee was good and constantly flowing - their Mimosa menu is insane. I didn't even order one, but still stared at the menu for about 5 minutes. Mitchell took great care of us too! Overall, this is one of our favorite breakfast spots - we're already talking about coming back on Saturday! Check them out and show them some love!

The coffee is next level, made with real ingredients instead of artificial syrups. Try the orange mocha for a unique and flavorful twist. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly owners who clearly care about their customers. The patio seating is perfect on a nice day, and the location in Sutter Park makes for a great post-breakfast stroll. This was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional customer service experiences I've had…read more My ex, who is a regular here, apparently decided that because they were uncomfortable with my presence, they could ask an employee to make my coffee to-go. The employee actually complied, effectively prioritizing a regular customer's personal feelings over treating another paying customer normally. My ex is responsible for managing their own discomfort. A business should not be used as a middleman in someone's personal relationship, and employees certainly shouldn't be participating in that dynamic. What's disappointing is that the establishment had an opportunity to simply remain professional and neutral, but instead chose to entertain what was essentially a personal request. If I had behaved inappropriately, I should have been addressed directly. If there was a genuine safety concern, that should have been communicated through appropriate channels. Neither happened. Being a regular customer does not make someone entitled to determine who else gets to enjoy the establishment, and accommodating that kind of behavior sets an incredibly immature precedent. I expected better from the business.
