Back again after trying this for the first time last week. Still consistently delicious with fast lunch (to go) service.

Quality cappuccino, but be warned that they blast metal music. Would get a coffee to go, but might hesitate to sit down with a drink or food in the future.

This place is a vibe! Eclectic decor that ranges from skull paintings to Jim Carrey autographs. Metal music playing overhead, but not too loud for a good convo. The coffee and food is on point--my favorite being the iced espresso with the cheese pairing. Staff is always friendly and plenty of seating (including outdoors).

Unique vibe that is most welcoming. The "Eat - Slay - Love" on the door made me giggle. "May Our Deeds Outlive Us" was a YES moment. And that was just entering the place. Darkish interior than one might expect, but totally within the environment they built. Love it here. The food is not just the usual pastries. The London Fog cinnamon roll was delicious with a fruity component. It's a short time offering so go now to get in on this. The breakfast sandwich is a super smooth whipped egg in a wonderfully tasty sandwich. But as tasty as it is, it will be a little messy as one bites into it and the egg wants to try to escape. So very good though. I will get both of these again as I will be coming back often. There is street parking as well as a small lot in front of the location. Excellent new find!

I really like that they have a bunch of vegan options here (pastries such as scones and cookies, sandwiches, and salads), but I wish they had a little bit more protein for them. I recently got a roasted squash sandwich (red kuri squash, date spread, sauteed kale, charred onion and sour loaf - $13) and while it was good, it would of been better with some hummus on it for example. I also got a half fall salad (lettuce, roosted shallot dressing, fennel, pear, herbsm and candied walnut - $7) that was really tasty and a good side with the sandwich. Previously I also got a vegan pasta salad that was good, but small and more expensive than I thought it should of been. Everything that I have had has tasted fresh and is different than what I can get elsewhere so that's nice. They often have loud metal music in the cafe so it is a different vibe than most coffee shops. Makes it a little hard to talk inside, but ok for getting takeout or if you are just wanting to eat alone. They have coffee/tea or wine/beer/sake. I personally have only got food here as of now, but I know a lot of my co-workers like to get coffee there. Staff have always been friendly too.

Immortal Cafe & Supply is a great little spot in Sacramento if you're looking for your coffee or breakfast fix. It is a small cafe/restaurant that serves the locals in town. Immortal has a really cool vibe to it and is totally worth checking out. The stand out item that I tried today at Immortal was their breakfast sandwich. This item really surprised me in a great way. It came out piping hot with delicious bread that was crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. It featured an egg patty that was soft as can be. I don't think I've ever had egg quite like this before. The flavor was subtle and allowed for the other ingredients in the sandwich to really shine. It's not spicy, but there is a subtle little kick to the taste that really keeps you going back for bite after bite. My wife ordered the breakfast oats and she commented that there is no other place that really has a savory oat option like this. It came with egg as well as miso flavorings in the oats. I could tell she loved it and would certainly order this item again. It's can be a little cramped inside the cafe, but the overall feel is cozy and certainly a gem to enjoy for an early meal.

This place feels kind of like a emo cafe... they were playing Evanescence, I am pretty sure. They are a pretty small menu and it looks seasonal. I had to pop in for a long lunch so I sat around with my blackberry iced tea a while. I ordered the polenta and veggies with a poached egg on the side, I think... it was really unexpectedly prepared but really good! The veggies were also perfect crunchy texture and there were some oat clusters on top that were a fabulous crisp! Delicious.

We came here for lunch and loved that they offer vegan options. We also visited on the day of the national shutdown and chose to come here because they were participating by donating to a local organization. We had the vegan tofu pastrami sandwich, which was really good, and the sourdough bread with roasted leek butter, which was absolutely delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very eclectic. They do play punk rock music, which may be loud for some.

We grabbed some Valentine's Day treats... my husband reported that the macarons were delicious (not vegan) and I loved the strawberry champagne cake (vegan). The Shirley Matcha was a fun alternative to my usual matcha latte. Looking forward to our next visit.

Overall? This place is a great spot where great coffee, delicious food, and an ambiance that's a heady mix of dark gothic and urban vegetarian all collide to create an experience you won't soon forget Parking? They've got you covered with both a lot and street options WiFi? Yep Our Order: Espresso Tonic (5/5): Imagine a perfectly balanced mix of espresso, tonic, and a hint of lavender syrup, all crowned with a dehydrated citrus slice. The espresso isn't acidic or overbearing, it's dialed in just right. The lavender brings a subtle, almost rebellious floral note that makes the whole drink sing Cappuccino (5/5): This cappuccino was so good I almost took it from my wife. It's all about that thick, evenly aerated foam paired with a robust, well-prepped espresso, served at the ideal temperature Breakfast Sandwich (5/5): This isn't just any sandwich. Locally sourced eggs, white cheddar, greens, pickled peppers, and herb aïoli get wrapped up in a sweet deli roll. It's a hefty portion that allowed my wife and I to each enjoy half

It took me over a year to make it out here. Every time I had planned to go, they were closed. I'm glad I finally made it! The decor is true to the death metal vibe that I got when perusing the menu online. The staff are friendly and patient. And if you choose to sit outside (they have 2 small outside tables and a couple benches, they bring you your order outside too. I went with friends on a Saturday morning. Together we ordered tea, an oat milk latte, a vegan chai scone, a vegan coconut scone, and a butternut squash sandwich. Everything was delicious, and the consistencies were spot on. To use the bathroom, you grab the key from the counter, exit the cafe, turn left, walk down to the next glass door, enter it, and walk all the way to the end of the passageway. Then use the key on one of the bathroom doors at the very end. The bathrooms were clean, and the one I was in even had a cute ghost hello kitty sticker (see the picture I shared). Warning: this place is only half vegan so make sure you double check that you item is vegan before you order it.

It's been over two years since I've first left a review and til this day I stand by it. Always amazing customer service, ambience and coffee. I love that no matter what beans are being used to make my lattes they are always flavorful and smooth. Always look forward to stopping by when I am in the area.

This hidden gem offers an experience that's unlike anything else in the city. The setup is simple but charming: you literally walk up to a window and order your wine. The Wine Window is affordable, laid-back, and surprisingly quaint. It's the kind of place where the ambiance, the people, and the energy make it feel more like an experience within an experience--not just a drink stop. I had the chance to chat with John, the owner, who shared a bit of the backstory. He previously owned a full wine room nearby, but when the pandemic hit, he had to pivot. Instead of calling it quits, he leaned into a smaller, more intimate concept inspired by wine windows in Europe. Honestly, I think the scale makes it even better. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while people-watching on L Street, and yes, there's even a restroom available (a rare but very appreciated amenity for this type of setup). If you find yourself downtown, do yourself a favor--swing by The Wine Window, have a chat with John, and enjoy a unique Sacramento experience.
