OK, for starters, I'm rating this 5 stars for the product they sell, not the experience I had visiting the distillery. Let's be real here, IT'S A DISTILLERY, not a nightclub or a pub. If you want a trendy pub setting, then visit the No-Li brewery next door. I didn't go in to it expecting to be wowed by the decor or a trendy upscale space and you shouldn't either. So if you can get past that and go in to it looking to sample some fantastic spirits, then you won't be disappointing. It was the owner/manager/big Kahuna that helped me and he was more than gracious. Gave me a little history on the place, introduced me to his wife (?), imparted some knowledge, and was proud to serve me sample of his product...which is top shelf. read more

An unusual distillery in that it's not intended for clients wandering through. We were next door at No-Li and stopped in by ringing the door bell. We sampled a few and really enjoyed the unusual ingredients and barrel aging process. The staff was friendly but we understood that they were busy with other projects (even though they didn't make us feel that way). read more

Wonderful distillery that I would recommend to anyone visiting Spokane. Not only are their spirits phenomenal, the distiller/bartender/founder (not sure on the last bit) Mike is full of knowledge about what Dry Fly does and is happy to share his knowledge with you. Best gin you'll ever taste. Generally I like tonic and lime with my gin but this gin is so good it doesn't need any additions. The Whiskey is pretty good too, but the gin is really a masterpiece. read more

Went on a tour and got to do some tasting. They are a small operation that really focuses on a good quality spirit! I am a huge fan of their gins! A must see and taste here in Spokane! Like many other reviewers have mentioned, this is a great place to go in, taste some of their spirits and tour their production facility. Everyone who I talked to when I visited was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Their spirits are all very tasty and I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. The Dry Fly Vodka is similar to some other 100% wheat artisan products on the market that have slightly more flavor that most products on the market. Personally, I enjoy that. I do not drink gin very often but theirs is not overpowering and I could see myself drinking it a lot. read more

Fantastic spirits. Best price if you buy at their distillery. (no taxes added). The only drawbacks are: Their canned cocktails are terrible. Very weak taste and Nasty. Stay out of that domain. Second, I wanted a new Dry Fly cap. Don't like the plastic head band adjuster. Go back to the former style and I'll buy one. Yes please. Might not be much of a tasting room (glass counter in the front of a distillery where you can have samples poured into plastic shooters) but the spirits are excellent and odds are one of the four fellas who run the whole distillery are serving you and know what they are talking about. Excellent background do lectures on 100 percent wheat whiskeys and unique grain selections. Experimental varieties are creative and don't try too hard to be something they're not. Port whiskey aged in wine barrels has a subtle hint of huckleberry but stays true. Lavender citrus gin is forcing a revaluation of my strict whiskey-girl stance. It's a one room operation with a few glasses and goodies. Go for a bottle come out with two. read more

Very fun to visit for tasting/purchasing. The tasting bar is in the production facility, so you get a front row seat to what's going on. The staff are friendly and really know their stuff. I also love their gin and won't mix it with tonic; it's best as a stand-alone. read more

To be honest tonight I would give them not even a star. We are repeat customers at dry fly. Enjoy the staff and have until recently enjoyed our time there. Tonight we went in with a group of 10. Half of which were not drinking. We went in to have our 1 friend try them since he isn't from Spokane and we rave about the place. We didn't realize the time. Apparently they were 10 min from closing. Mike came up and instill of just saying they were closing he went on the defensive. No hello, nothing just aggressive and rude. Saying now don't give me problems we close in 10. All he had to do was come up be a human being and say hey we close in 10. Instead he chose to be very offensive. I do not think we will be back. I will choose to spend my time and money supporting local businesses that appreciate their return customers. Especially those who bring new ones. It was very embarrassing to me and our group. Not a good impression left. I doubt our friends will ever want to go again. read more

Dry Fly is awesome! The newer tasting room is a cool bar area with delicious and unique cocktails. It's also fun to see the area where the liquor is made, and pick something up to take home to enjoy later. Great staff, great product! read more

I took my husband here to tour the facility and try to the Whiskey but I did't know we would have such a great time. We were showed around with such enthusiam and you can see the pride they have in there place and product. Terrible experience. I had a friend come in from out of town so I took him to several local breweries. After finishing up at No-Li we decided to peek our head in to Dry Fly. Once someone came to the door to let us in, he said he had to go get someone to help us. We were left alone for around 5 minutes near the merchandise counter until a lady, obviously very annoyed, came out of her upstairs office and walked past us and stood behind the counter. No "Hey, thanks for stopping in", "Can I answer any questions" not even a "Hello". I then started to try to make small talk with her to see if she would start talking about their products. All I would get is either nods or one word answers. I guess we were both used to brewery owners who are proud of their establishments and willingly give tours and talk about their products. If your looking for a disappointing, rude experience, then Dry Fly is the place to be. read more

I took a small group here last Saturday. I was prepared to buy couple bottles of their product as were others but the person helping was shockingly rude. Couldn't believe it. Left empty handed. The product is good but couldn't get past wanting to stay with the pompous rude kid behind the counter. read more

The product is great. I bought something directly after I tried it. But that was about the highlight of the experience. They didn't want to talk about anything, give us any kind of information on their products or anything. And on top of that, they were short with us with basically everything. I would consider purchasing their products again from a liquor store, but I would question supporting them if that's how they treat customers. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've ordered T-shirts from the online store a couple of years ago and didn't encounter any problems. However, I ordered the gallon flask and another T-shirt for my boyfriend for his birthday. I placed the order on March 9th which I assumed was plenty of time to receive my goods by his birthday on the 20th. I am a frequent online shopper and if there's ever been an issue (back order) with my order, I've received an email. So first thing; I never received an email order confirmation but they took my money. Secondly; I called and had to leave a message after the first week went by wondering what the status of my order was. Kent called and left me a message claiming the quality of the flask I purchased was not up to par and they were waiting for more to arrive from the distributor. Thirdly; after another week went by, I called again and spoke to Kelly who was incredibly rude, continuously interupted me and blatantly asked me if I wanted to cancel my order. She argued that they have 30 days to fulfill an online order. No empathy whatsoever and quite frankly shitty customer service. I then followed up with another email to Kent who called to apologize. Today is the 20th, my boyfriends birthday and I still don't know if my product ever shipped because these guys are clearly too busy to concern themselves with customer service. We are both avid fly fishermen and we both agree that we will take our business to Simms instead. Perhaps their spirits are good but they are clearly lacking in their online order process and with no regard for customer service! read more
