Woke up early today Saturday to take my mother for her first ever hair appt scheduled for 9. We get there 9:12 (i believe) and theres a stylist there already working. States the stylist Sarah is on her way. To me is a red flag as if youre doing color & highlights your station would at least be prepped already.. we waited sitting there till 9:45 hoping she would show up..never showed up. The stylist there was kind enough to call her again (no answer) and offered my mom help but i declined. We set this appointment up for her as we have a party later today and had the time slot specifically for this. Waste of time & waste of a drive to sit there for about 40 minutes hoping she would show. This literally ruined the day. Didnt get a follow up call or nothing. Like i said idk if its a schedule issue or something that i did on my end wrong? but i have the screenshot of the email & confirmation of the appt for today.

The cut came out exactly how I hoped, clean, flattering, and easy to style. She also did my eyebrows and absolutely nailed them. She was really thoughtful and conscious about helping me grow my brows out, shaping them in a way that still looked natural without taking too much off and giving advice on what to do to get them where I wanted them. I asked for a rounded haircut with lots of layers and face-framing pieces and I showed her my inspo photos as well. She first washed my hair and then got started on the cut. Yessenia did an amazing job! She was friendly and professional and gave me exactly what I requested. I wasn't sure whether to go with lighter or heavier curtain bangs/face-framing pieces, and she knew exactly what would suit me when she suggested sticking with lighter face framing. She also somehow managed to style my frizzy Indian hair perfectly without using much tension on the brush, which was shocking to me. I loved the work she posted on IG and reached out via text. I sent her what I was looking for and she was super responsive, helpful and nice! We scheduled a consultation and prices what I wanted out into 2 sessions and went through the steps of what she would do. My first session was a cut and dye I had asked to try and match my natural color as close as possible and she did! It was almost identical! I then we scheduled the highlights. I did give her an idea of what I wanted but told her to go with the flow. And it came out so good! I love her work and will be back! Thanks again Sheila! This Mama feels brand new. This girl, through some sorcery, not only figured out how to get me what I want, but exceeded ALLLL my expectations. By the end of the appointment, we were finishing each others sentences. The hairstylist did not communicate with her throughout the whole session and when my daughter tried to ask what length it would be, she had already cut six inches of her hair and made the length the same all around. Also, she cut her bangs unevenly, leaving more hair on on side and even cutting the front unevenly. Not only that, but the stylist did not style ehr hair. She asked for a slightly curly style, but when we left her hair was up to her upper arms, unstyled. The stylist left her with short pieces of hair at the front of her head that are one inch long and can not be tucked back into her hair and look misplaced. My daughter's hair used Tobe down to her lower back and now it is almost at her shoulders, which has obviously left her sad and this has been going on for days. I would not come here again.
