First off, I love love love this place. It is very metro bus accesible too. You can reach it by buses #128, 131, with the bus 60 being a couple blocks away! Generally I have quickly gone in to use the bathroom, but today I went and decided to get a coffee and a Turkey Basil Sandwhich. mmmmm so yummy, I don't know how the other sandwhiches are but this one was tastey, and the Hazelnut Latte I got complimented the sandwhich nicely. Both workers that were working were quite friendly. I am in the area for my dog sitting business : Cosmic Pet Sitting Company, as I have clients in the area. I think I will be stopping by Dubsea many more times :) Thank you for givng the community such a wonderful place to gather. read more

First time in, pleasantly surprised to find in the area! They serve Stumptown, one of my favorites, and a great selection of pastries, including gluten free and dairy free options (still a decent variety at 2pm)! This lady made me the worst Italian soda. I particularly paid for a 12oz club soda. It didnt even taste like a Italian soda. It taste like crap. She look like she didnt want to serve me at all. I would definitely not recommend anyone back here. Thanks for nothing read more

I love this place. It's in a really cool neighborhood and they brew excellent coffee. The place has a nice atmosphere and they even have artists come in every so often. The service is wonderful. They have very tasty hot chocolate. Very good foam, not too thick or thin and you can actually taste chocolate in there! They also have this squash bread that's absolutely delectable. I'm not exactly sure where these people have had coffee before but Dubsea has to be the Worst coffee I've ever had. As a former barista and a coffee lover with my own espresso machine i believe i am rightfully entitled to an educated decision upon coffee and without an ounce of doubt I know i will never get coffee here again. After two visits, 1st getting a caffe mocha no whip, 2nd being a hopeful visit to obtain a refreshing ice cold caramel coffee I can honestly say 7/11 would be a better choice. In all honesty Dubsea has horrible coffee, unfortunately i have to live right above them. read more

Great atmosphere here, friendly staff, lots of tables and big windows to let in the light. I had a delicious cardamom latte and my son enjoyed a blueberry scone (not too sweet). Lots of easy street parking. I'll definitely come here again and recommend it to others. I read about it on Parent Map as a place to enjoy coffee with little kids. My son enjoyed the toys. But about the toys and play area: great to have, and I appreciated it! But all the toys and books could use a little straightening up and cleaning. We were there at 10:30 am, and when I moved some toys to set up a train track for him, I also brushed away dust and crumbs that were not from that day. The play carpet really needs a vacuum, as does the upholstered bench seat (not the seat itself - more the part where the seat and back meet. Lots of crumbs, again clearly not from today.) A little attention to the play area would be appreciated by us moms of little ones. So, 4 stars, not 5. A great coffee shop, and I will return. read more

Service is always friendly, but slow to notice you and slow to pull shots. It should not take 5 minutes to make one latte. If the latte was amaxing I might be willing to wait, but that isn't the case here. Since I used to work as a barista at a coffee shop that served Stumptown, I was excited to see they serve it. I'm amazed that they can take such a great coffee and make it so bland. Even a triple or quad shot latte tastes like plain milk. It's also not the cheapest coffee shop in the area, especially considering you're paying for glorified milk. Maybe I just don't get there early enough, but pastry selection is either limited or non-existent. read more

I love this place! I always go in and pretty much get the same thing: the cardamom latte. It's amazing, hot or cold! They also always have the sprinkled sugar cookies with fall/holiday themed designs. They had leaves in the fall and now have an assortment of shapes like holiday sweaters, snowmen, etc. Baristas are always really friendly as well. It is a good place for me to take my books to and study. read more

Awesome employees, great customer service, reliable internet and tasty food/coffee! What more could you want? I had to hang out at Dubsea for hours waiting for the police to help me get a stolen phone back, and they had great internet and super nice staff who even let me borrow their phone since I didn't have one. Very empathetic to my situation too, which was just a nice warm and fuzzy bonus when I was down in the dumps. Coffee was great and so was the pesto omelette english muffin. Thanks Dubsea! read more

Ahhhh dubsea. I don't have enough great things to say about this place. I've been coming here since 2013 because I live 2 minutes away and let me tell you... THE COFFEE IS AMAZING. They just started using a new espresso and it's my new love!! It's so smooth and delicious. The workers are also dolls and I love all of them! This place get loud and busy some times but if you stick around till about 4 it'll wind down and become super peaceful. The food selection isn't the best but I shouldn't expect much although the pastries are the bomb.com! read more

This place is great! I always love a good cup of coffee and it is hard to get out because I have three kids!!! But on the special occasion that I do get to go out for coffee I want the best. This place was clean, has nice aesthetics, the staff was great, and the drinks are good. I am pretty particular when it comes to espresso and Dubsea's was fabulous. The staff prepared it just right, no burn, plenty of la creme, etc. I got the white chocolate mocha and savored it. Glad I find this little gem by my house. read more

Maybe the single best place in White Center. Very good coffee, food, and service. This place is a treasure. If I had one wish, it would be that they had a little wider selection of baked goods, but they have a better than reasonable amount, it's just that I go here everyday, so even their extensive options could be broadened for me. I happen to enjoy one of the most high maintenance espresso drinks-- the cappuccino. For those of you who drink cappuccino you know that getting just the right foam is an art form that's rarely mastered. On every occasion that I've gone to Dubsea my cappuccino was perfect! Heavenly, silky foam without any of those big air bubbles. The barristas are down to earth and friendly. No snobbiness here. Ultimately, this is a real community coffee house that features local art and even student work occasionally. I hope this place makes it big. read more

I LOVE DUBSEA. From the delicious Stumptown coffee to the meticulously trained friendly baristas, to the Macrina and Little Rae pastries and sandwiches, to the rotating local artists' work on the walls... this is one of my favorite coffeeshops in Seattle, and I am stoked to have discovered it! White Center is not an area that you would expect something of this caliber to exist in, but the shop is worth driving across town for if you are a coffeeshop nut (or even if you're not)! read more

I love this place!! The baristas are extremely friendly and don't make you feel awkward at all when ordering. I always get an americano with soy milk and they give it to me in a little cup on the side so I can put it in myself. Their latte shakes are really well-blended and are 100 times better than Starbucks frappucinos. The ambiance is great and it seems like it would be the perfect place to get some work done. read more

very kid friendly and the curry chicken wrap was great. i was there to hang an art show and got that and a half caff americano that was very good although i am not a fancy coffee expert. their sandwhiches all seem to be made by smallish, maybe local companies. one called the thanksgiving dinner looks so good i am going to try it when i go back to take the art down. there is a community center about 50 feet away, maybe that has fun stuff for kids to do? and a library branch in walking distance as well. read more
