Ok, I'll admit this was a late night craving to get some donuts. So partially my reason for going was because they were still open. Don't get me wrong, I'm not disappointed at all. Sure I didn't read into this place as closely as I should have, but I gave it a try regardless of the fact everything is a cake donut base. I was looking for that classic old fashion, but will not complain with what I brought home. To start the names were definitely not what I was used to, but I tried a bit of everything. Everything I could get in half a dozen that is. To start off, I will say my lack of knowledge was well aided by the staff, as she was extremely helpful and patient with me. So I started with one of their seasonal favorites, the Pumpkin Coffee Cake, and it all went uphill from there. Chocolate Island Bliss Blueberry Lemonade Chocolate Covered Strawberry Chocolate Explosion Strawberry Shortcake (I believe) To top off the fun filled sugar night, I also ordered a Blueberry Shake. So what impressed me so much is how the same base vanilla cake donut could taste so different with their toppings, as they really gave a lot of flavor to each one. I have been wanting to go here for so long. Seen all my Yelp friends coming here. I didn't realize just how incredible these donuts are. Thank you my friend for picking me up and taking me here today. Nice parking lot but was pretty busy here. I was expecting to see so many more ducks but they did have some all over the walls. I didn't know what to order there are so many choices it was hard to choose lol. But I got 4 donuts, Blueberry Pancake since I love anything blueberry, the Strawberry confetti for baby girl, Beach Ball for the end of summer and Choco-Coconut Caramel. They just melt in your mouth when you take a bite. It's like eating a cake donut which it is but the warmness and freshness and the incredible sweet smells are so enticing. When my friends and I came to the shop one morning we were excited to try what we heard to be amazing donuts. When they told me about them I assumed something similar to "Voodoo donuts" and I don't really like them because they are way too much. But this is a toned version. It was perfect. They make everything fresh and if you have children or just want to act like one, you can stand and watch them create the world's best donut. I don't say that lightly. This was perfect. I got one with coconut and amazing. I thought I had a picture, it didn't happen because it was so good. The staff were amazingly sweet and accommodating to us all being excited. My breakfast sandwich was epic!! I got egg and cheese on a donut, and added the option to get maple drizzle and chopped bacon on top. This is my new favorite! The bacon was cooked nicely and the maple drizzle gave it a delicate sweetness. It was so delicious ... I am craving it again! I also ordered the Iced Pumpkin Toffee Latte. It was a good latte, but I really didn't get much pumpkin or toffee flavor out of it. Also, I think it was supposed to come with whipped cream, but I didn't get any. If you're looking for flavor, I would skip it. That said, the deliciousness of my breakfast sandwich canceled out the negativity on this latte. Quick note: When I ordered on DoorDash, I had the option to put in my room number, because it said it could be delivered to my room. I have such a sweet tooth, and I always do damage when I come to Duck Donuts. You can build your own donut, but I usually pick from the preset menu because they have delicious combinations. My absolute favorite is The Beach (vanilla icing with cinnamon on top) - it tastes like a churro or a cinnamon roll. It tastes just as delicious - if not even more - every single time I come. I will say the donuts with all the toppings are super sweet, so if you can't handle that I would recommend to skip on the full icing coating and just get a drizzle! I stumbled upon Duck Donuts after our party had ramen in the same plaza. We walked in and were instantly met with the aroma of fresh donuts. We weren't planning on buying donuts since we already ate lunch but we did have questions for the lady helping us because the kids in our party have allergies. She suggested the vegan chocolate and the vegan bare. She also explained that their donuts were made-to-order, which makes them unique to the just any donut shop. She was so nice and friendly, and was so patient with all the questions we had. It's a casual ambiance and small shop but you can see them making the donuts. They have an extensive menu of donuts and a variety of fun flavors. We came back again the next time we had ramen and another lady working there suggested the French Toast, which is my new favorite flavor here! We love their wide selection of donuts, probably over at least 30 varieties. We ended up getting the S'mores and Cappuccino Chip. The donuts took a bit of time to make, but they were piping hot and fresh! The glaze was oozing off the side of the donuts. It was amazing. The donuts look like it would be sweet since they didn't skimp on the donut glaze. However, after taking the first bite, the donuts were not overly sweet at all. Ok let me give a huge shout out to the team that was there closing on 2/14. I literally pulled up at 8:59 and the employees were kind enough to still take my small two donut order. So I came here because of a Groupon and instead of one I took two donuts home. This was also my first time. Spot looked super clean and cute location with some duckies at the checkout. I'm sure they are super busy throughout the day. Ok so now flavor. These are hands down the best donuts I have ever tried. Also didn't expect the were fresh to order.
