Had a craving for something sweet this morning and stopped by here to get my morning going. The place was clean and I was early enough to be the only customer at that time. The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the vanilla with salted caramel crinkle and asked for it to go. The donut was very good. Good combination of sweet and salty. I decided to try Duck Donuts when I was in the area one weekend. It was Saturday around 11ish in July. I didn't have a wait and the cashier helped walk me through their process. I was shocked it took about 10 mins to get my three donuts. I one worker was fulfilling a phone order and two others were wondering around and discussing something. The donuts were ok. Absolutely loved the donuts here, especially the Oreo ones! I came with my friend on our way to the beach - donuts on the beach is my fave. We got the duck dozen and the caramel macchiatos. We got to try each donut and my favorites were the maple bacon and Oreo. The caramel macchiato was too sweet for me, but if you're a sugar lover I recommend it. Reasonable prices too read more

These donuts were absolutely delicious! I love that they make them fresh to order. There were so many flavor combinations to choose from it made it so hard to pick which ones to get. This isn't the place where you're going to stop in really quick and pick out premade donuts and leave. You have to set out time, especially if you want a large order. With limited staffing your order can take a while but they are so worth the wait. One thing i would suggest is ask for the donuts to cool down alittle bit before adding your icing choice and toppings because it will end up a melty mess like some of mine. But we still ate them all, because they were that good! read more

My sweet tooth says WOOOOW to this special little shop! As soon as you walk in the smell of fresh doughnuts being made hits your nose in the most fabulous way! We decided to go with a mix of Lemon drizzled with raspberry, chocolate dipped with peanuts, maple bacon, chocolate strawberry, and my fav the apple pie which has actual pieces of baked apples on it! So I would give a 4.5 stars solely because the topping (mostly the vanilla) was entirely too sweet. I'm a total donut snob. I'm also a HUGE fan of great customer service and that's what we got from the time we walked in to the time that we walked out. The ladies at the register were super kind and patient with us while we were trying to figure out what we were going to order. Everything on the menu looked to die for and we were so excited to try ALL of them. Love that when you get your donuts, the maker shows them to you and makes sure that your order was right... we will definitely recommend to our friends and return! read more

This place is the closest donut place to my house that offers the "gourmet type" of donut (I have always been a big fan of The Mini Bar at Jax Beach). This place is similar to that style, but regular sized cake donuts that are a bit softer. They have SO many flavors and combinations! We usually do whatever the "Signature Dozen" is for the season and it NEVER disappoints. We have a bit allergy in our house, so we tend to substitute those, but every other flavor combo we have tried has been sooooo delish! I love how much flavor is in all of their icings (peanut butter, lemon, raspberry, etc) are. They are made to order, so you generally wait 5 minutes (the most I've waited was 13 when it was really busy). You can order online and pickup, but I don't like to do that because their app doesn't allow you to do all the choices in store. For instance they just have a "Fan Favorites" list to chose from and not a way to get a dozen or 1/2 dozen of all of their named donuts. The only way to do it is to customize each donut. I ALMOST gave them 4 stars because of that fact, but their donuts are SO good...it doesn't even warrant it haha. They also have coffee, coffee drinks and milkshakes. read more

Oh my gosh, this place was awesome!! I split a 6 pack of doughnuts with a friend (assorted flavors) and had an almond milk caramel macchiato. If I'm being honest, the caramel macchiato could've been more flavorful. Having said that, I came for the doughnuts and they did not disappoint! Not only were they pretty to look at, fresh, and incredibly delicious, the service was super fast! My birthday is in about a week and I have a strong feeling I'll be back for some more treats...so excited Jacksonville has a Duck Donuts now! read more

I'm pretty pleased with this place. Tucked into a Publix strip mall area off Old St Augustine Rd it's almost as good as a certain other made to order place. The donuts here are pretty much standard cake donut size so it's a hearty portion for the price. We ordered 15 because we just couldn't narrow it down. Personally, I don't love chocolate frosted donuts ever so I wasn't over the moon about one we ordered with chocolate frosting and coconut and salted caramel drizzle or the s'mores one but overall, the predetermined flavor combos they offer are spot on. First time trying and will not be my last. Num, num, nummy. Talk about hot and fresh, had to wait for them to cool, and still used a fork to eat it. I chose a chocolate frosted and a maple bacon. The donuts are moist, cake like, with a crispy outside. The chocolate is rich, not too sweet, and decadent. If you enjoy a salty sweet blend, then the maple bacon is just what you need to try. Variety of donuts and clean sitting area (due to COvid-19 requirements) , but wait was long for such a small crowd and early in the morning (had ordered 4 donuts). The flavors were good and the blueberry pancake was the one I liked most. Staff was helpful and asked how do you like your donuts, kudos to them on that. Overheard a young employee (teenager appears) complaining to a coworker that he didn't take a break on one day this past weekend, good to hear his coworkers help advise him. Duck or Voodoo donuts? This was our first time trying Duck Donuts. We ordered online using a very user friendly site. There were so many combinations to try that I spent 20 minutes picking out a dozen donuts. Thankfully, due to the 'Rona, I had plenty of time to do that. They also have pre created combinations and themed assortments. Although there was a line of people, we were able to pick up our donuts within just a few minutes. Online ordering is the way to go. These donuts are a little pricey but worth it. They were warm, soft and fresh. The flavor combinations I created were quite tasty. My only criticism would be that they forgot to drizzle the hot fudge on the ones that I picked out. It's was probably for my own good. I would definitely give them 5 stars! read more

On top of that it's a great place to bring the kids and was our Saturday ritual we looked to do after taking my girls to the dance studio nearby. However, for the past 6 months the quality of the lattes has deteriorated. The lattes come out either too bitter, watery and/or EXTREMELY hot. (It is possible to burn the milk while you froth it.) I'm not sure what it is, maybe the machines aren't being cleaned frequently, the espresso isn't dialed in, there is a new staff that isn't trained properly and pays attention to details? This is also not a one time occasion. I have come back many times and hoped the quality would be different. I've given back my latte and pointed out its ways too hot , the milk hasn't frothed well, etc, but still leave disappointed. One thing that I can't wrap my mind around is that there is a coffee shop about 10 minutes (Mikes Pour) which sources their beans Kookaburra and were initially trained by Kookaburra. Same recipes , just different name AND better taste. This place can be the perfect shop for the neighborhood. And I love the brand and was inclined to buy some swag. I'll be back eventually , with the hope the quality has improved. This place has the potentially to be 5 stars..

Disgusted at the shift manager who was handling her cell phone, balloons & gifts from her partner that were delivered she worked, as well as touching her mask constantly while demanding we put on a mask though we have an exemption. Instead of kindness and offering to help us enjoy our experience another way, she exercised the phony privilege she has as a low level donut store manager. After the halabaloo she then served a person with a mask only over their mouth with FULL nose exposure that could be seen by every person in the store. I stood shoulder to shoulder with this other customer while I paid. Our city has no mandate. Would never come back. If you don't care for hypocrisy then I suggest you not give money to any of these corporate stores. If we weren't in birthday group for a child we would've walked out.
