I've been coming here since I was a kid and have always had good experiences, which makes what happened today even more disappointing. We both took a bite of our tacos and immediately noticed that they tasted burned. We couldn't eat them, so I called the restaurant to make a complaint. I was told to bring the tacos back, so I did. When I brought them back, the "manager" asked me, "Where's the rest of the taco?" I explained that I had taken a bite, realized it tasted burned, and spit it out. She then told me she couldn't replace the tacos unless I had the entire taco. I understand needing proof of an issue, but expecting a customer to bring back an entire taco after they've already taken a bite and spit it out because it tasted burned is unreasonable. What bothered me most was the way the situation was handled. There was no real attempt to make things right or acknowledge that we had paid for food we couldn't eat. It's especially disappointing because this was a place I grew up going to and genuinely loved. After the way I was treated today, I will never be coming back. Good food can be ruined by poor customer service, and unfortunately, that's exactly what happened today.

Since their move, the've added more tables which makes it a perfect space to co-work, study or to have meetings. My go-to coffee order is their Vanilla Latte with oat milk and extra shot of espresso. The blend of the coffee and the syrup is perfection and not too sweet or too bitter. They also have a couple of baked goods which are always delicious, and once in a while they'll have other small businesses do food pop-ups. Please do yourself a favor and come check out this amazing local business! Just keep in mind that parking in this side of town is a little tricky but they do have additional parking behind their building.
