I have such a big sweet tooth, so I've been wanting to try this place. They have so many donut flavors to choose from, but surprisingly my favorite was the peanut butter and jelly one. They make them right in front of you, so I recommend trying one right away because they come out so warm and fresh. The donuts were good, but there were a couple flavors I wasn't too crazy about. However, the service there was great! My boyfriend and I wanted to get 2 separate boxes of 6 each, but they only charged us for a box of 12 (which was a bit cheaper). The line also moved very quickly and the donuts came out within a couple minutes, so we were in and out.

As Homer Simpson would say - Mmmmm.....donuts. Terrific suburban outpost of this donut chain to satisfy your sugary cravings. All the donuts are made fresh here and you can view them coming off hot right off the machine. You get to pick ans choose your own toppings here. There are many varieties and a few lists to choose from. My faves on this day were the blueberry pancake and lemon raspberry. Very friendly and helpful staff here. Donuts are a bit pricey for the size but the quality is worth it for a once in a while treat.

I wrote a review several weeks ago and basically it was a mostly negative review. Well I received a comment from Veronica, the business owner who was apologetic but made an honest argument about my complaint and asked that I give the another chance. Well, here I am. Cautiously I ordered two donuts, "Banana Split", and "Banana Fluffer Nutter". My original complaint was the time it took to prepare my order. This time they were on it immediately and before I knew it they were calling my name. These donuts were warm and super delicious. So good I'm pretty sure my eyes rolled back in my head, and not sure but they were so good and I was so delirious I think a may have blacked out for a second. I haven't had a cigarette in 50 years but after these donuts I could have wanted one. You know what I'm talking about. Veronica, I am now a "Duck Donuts " believer. I will be back again and if you're reading this, you should try them. I now know that you too will be a believer.

My son and his girlfriend are at house having dinner. My wife says, I could go for some chocolate. We start running down the list and I say, hold on Duck Donuts opened in Selden. And they close in 35 minutes!! During the car ride, my son is saying they'll be nothing left. It'll be old stale donuts. (He's soooo wrong) The young man behind the counter gives us a menu. There are so many doughnut selections! I order for my wife a chocolate doughnut. For myself, an Oreo doughnut topped with buttercream. I can see them making the doughnut. And that is the reason why Duck Doughnuts simply rocks. We were served freshly made doughnuts, all nice and warm. I see the owner who I spoke to at the Happaugue location. I say hi as she's adding the buttercream. If you're not familiar with Duck Donuts, you must download their app! You'll earn points for more doughnuts?! This is like a Merry-go-round that keeps on spinning. Just be aware, these doughnuts are topped with various items. You're not getting jelly doughnuts or Boston cream filled doughnuts. Duck Donuts offers a freshly made product with outstanding toppings. 2021 just became a whole lot better. Enjoy!

I want to start off 2021 with a bang (as does probably everyone), and though I don't have any legitimate reviews to write yet of establishments visited in this new year, I have a few spots that still require my write up back from those previous 365 days...if we choose to remember it. Well, not all of 2020 was bad, and to find a silver lining you can drive over to Selden and get some Duck Donuts! I've already popped into the Hauppauge place a few times, but when my girlfriend and I found ourselves a few minutes away from this newer donut storefront a week or so ago, we figured why not? Similarly to that aforementioned first LI location, this Selden store is set into a shopping center which can honestly and easily be missed if you're not carefully looking for it. Once found, you'll notice how similar both stores look from the inside. Nothing really showy in these interiors, but you'll get plenty of duck sightings (the squeaky kind) and super friendly service. I'm amazed by how chippy and peppy the employees seem to be. There was even a staff member who offered to bring the rest of a woman's donuts out to her car if she pulled up at the curb. That's service with a smile (even if it's behind a mask). Beyond the employment, DD truly knows how to make a quality donut. There are definitely other local based gourmet donut options on the island, but when you watch your donuts pop out of that little machine, and you see your donuts get loaded up with frosting and drizzles and toppings, then you know you're eating something that was freshly made and better yet, customized by you (if you'd like). The possibilities are endless at Duck Donuts and the fact that there are tons of seasonal flavors and styles (even Hanukkah donuts were a thing!) creates more of a reason to come and see what they've concocted onto their menu. For instance, we purchased a half dozen of these little morsels with several being chocolate cake donuts (a semi-new creation of DD) dipped in mint frosting and topped with Oreo crumbles. The others were mostly from their regular menu, but man can you find some delicious combinations. Ya just gotta go and see what they're offering. Overall, Duck Donuts is a superb donut shop and one I'm glad to see popping up in a few places on LI (I'm waiting for the Nassau location, okay guys?). For now, I can settle with these two Suffolk spots as I know I'm getting quality, service, and taste each time I go. May this be a hole new year (donut pun?) of possibilities.

OMG. Donuts made to order. Hot, fresh & delicious! I really don't think you could go wrong with any donut you order. The service was great, it has such a cool vibe inside and just an overall cool experience. I wasn't the biggest fan of the milkshake but everything else about this place was great!

OMG! Welcome Duck Donuts to Selden! On their website, it's 49 College Plaza but Yelp have this address. Now, I don't have to go to Hauppauge for the hot, freshly-made donuts (which is a drive -- maybe that is a good thing). Now, it's located in Selden and it's a hop, skip away...oh dear! My waist-line might be in a dangerous zone. Since it's the grand opening, there was a short wait to go into the store. Thanks for the free donut (cinnamon sugar)! When you go in, stay to the left to order. There are 2 cashiers. After you order, you go to the right to pick up your order. We picked donuts: brain bits (glazed donuts, streusel, apple) from the spooky box collection and coconut island bliss and a maple bacon milkshake. It was so good that we finished the donuts in a few bites and the milkshake was the perfect companion to the donuts. Every season, there are specific flavors for a limited time. Right now, it's the fall assortment and spooky box! Can't wait to see what they have in store for the winter and Christmas. Hope to see you there!

I love Duck Donuts in Hauppauge! I have been there a few times and they never disappoint! I have had their breakfast sandwich, sausage, egg and cheese on a donut, and IT IS AMAZING!! It tastes like a higher quality Mcgriddle! I went there today to get a dozen donuts and the choices were absolutely endless and I had such a hard time just picking 12! I wanted them all HAHA! Half of them are already gone and everyone has enjoyed they so much! I cannot wait for my brother to try the Maple Bacon one, since he has been talking about it! The employees are so sweet and attentive and do such a great job at maximizing the expectations of their customers! I can't wait to go back! One needs to open near North Babylon, so I can go all the time!

This location has tables so you can sit and enjoy your coffee and or donuts. The staff is super friendly and patient. Thank you for always providing fresh donuts!

This is not my first review of this establishment. It's been over 2yrs, so I'm updating. In my opinion, it is one of the best establishments to get a delicious treat, very nice when you enter your always greeted. Get it the way you want and freshly made. To be honest, I go twice a week. Now I don't know how the owner finds such great workers and that are young and pleasant great attributes. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the days I mostly go, I'm welcomed like I was on "Cheers" the show, the same whenever I go . Ashley, the manager, is so nice, and the young men and women, to many to name I'll hear about it though are very welcoming to all customers. This place is a winner. Thank you. See you Friday .
