I don't know about his inspections skills but if you're anything like me, you take into account their driving when they're in their company cars if you see them on the road. Well I've never written a review about it but what i saw today was enough for me to say something. Driving on the already dangerous hwy 290, I see one of the Dudley trucks, fully decked out and representing his company, weave in between cars behind me. He comes up beside me and tailgates, with mere inches of space between, the car in front of him until there's enough room to cut the person off in the next lane. It was aggressive and dangerous driving - something we don't need more of here! I wanted to bring this to your attention and to the company's attention because it's such a poor representation of the company and I can be sure to never hire them for my house inspections. read more

He was so friendly that I called him when we finally decided which home to buy, so he could do our inspection. He was friendly and VERY thorough! My hubby is very careful about who he "trusts". We had lived in our home for 3 years, when the owner finally offered it for sale. My hubby totally expected to be disappointed, since he already knew the things that were wrong with the house. We needed a home inspection fast as we were in a hurry. Our realtor highly recommended a home inspector by the name of Steve Dudley with Dudley's Home Inspection. We gave him a call and he immediately came out to do the inspection the very next morning! We were shocked at how fast he came out! We highly recommend him because 1) Steve Dudley came out himself, showed up on time and came out ASAP! 2) Steve Dudley paid very close attention to details when he was inspecting the house. He was very meticulous to inspect every aspect of the house from inside to outside; the plumbing, the structural systems (foundations, grading/drainage, roof covering materials, roof function, attic, interior walls, exterior walls, expansion/control joints, interior & exterior doors, ceilings & floors, garage doors, windows, porches, steps, ALL electrical systems, service entrance panels, branch circuits, outlets & switches, ARC Fault circuits, fixtures, smoke and fire alarms, heating, ventilation & air conditioning, ducts, vents, all plumbing to all sinks, toilets, dishwasher tubs, showers, and the plumbing distribution, water heaters, water pressure, flow & function, back flow prevention, drains, stove heating function, drying exhaust systems, sprinkler systems (he thoroughly inspected every zone of our sprinkler system and rain sensor), and so much more! He filled up every tub and sink and payed very close attention to EVERYTHING!!!! He even ran our dishwasher and disposal to see where water is coming and going to ensure no leakage. He even checked out all of the functionality of all appliances. 3) He is reasonably priced. His services go ABOVE and BEYOND what he charges. 4) We had an issue with our thermostat as we were not able to get it unlocked in order for him to inspect it. Steve Dudley came out to the new house a second time the very next day in order to complete the inspection on the thermostat at no extra charge and without us even asking! This indicates to us that he does a very thorough job and likes to complete his inspections as soon as he can. Impressive!!!! 5) He provides you a VERY Meticulously detailed inspection report asap and electronically for your convenience. His inspection reports include detailed photographs and a detailed summary of any problems that he discovered and his recommendations. 6) He performs a phenomenal inspection with perfection, he understands the utilization of boundaries when working with clients, he exudes quality character, manners, is respectful of others, and communicates professionally with professional demeanor! When it comes to home inspections.....there is no stone left unturned. He checks EVERYTHING and COMPLETES EVERYTHING! We will utilize Dudley's Home Inspection for all of our future purchases!
