Buffalo breaded pork tenderloin with crumble blue cheese on top

If you're looking for a large outdoor patio or a semi dive bar atmosphere look no further than the dugout the wife and I tried their buffalo breaded tenderloin. If you're up for a different twist, you need to try this. It was actually quite good. It wasn't the biggest breaded tenderloin nor the juiciest, but oh my gosh, it had a delicious taste. I would recommend it.

Stopped in the Dugout for beer and food. We tried the buffalo pork tenderloin. Great flavor and very moist. Great food all around. I also love their fried bologna sandwich. This is a must stop destination. So do yourself a favor and stop in.

Classic Virginia Avenue bar. Live music. Great service. Solid food. Perfect location. Lots of outdoor seating. You can sit in the new side and play trivia or sit in the old side and talk to a local drunk. Pretty much always come here prior to going to the Hifi. Highly recommend.

Dugout has long been on my list of bars to try but I never got the opportunity to until this Friday while trying to post up for the Purdue game. Drink specials are phenomenal, $9 pitchers of either Yuengling or Miller Lite is a steal. The bar food is pretty decent as well so if you get hungry I recommend the pizza as it too is reasonably priced. Overall this is a top spot to watch sports, no shortage of tvs and room to post up. Obviously you don't want to show up too close to tipoff because it will be standing room only.

7 inch personal pan pizza, minus one slice

Always love coming here. They have the best patio section in downtown Indy. For the outside patio. They now have clear signage of areas that are outside with weight staff versus outside areas. Where you can Serve yourself. They will start to have live music outside here soon once the weather warms up. Today I got the fried ravioli to share with a friend and a 7 inch personal pan pizza. The small personal size is a perfect amount for one person. Pro tip: if you want a little spice, you should ask for jalapeños on the side. It seems to be less spicy, then having them piled and baked into your pizza. The pizza shown in the pictures is chicken, bacon, onions, and green peppers .

Dugout is one of our favorites spots & after last nights visit- the mozzarella sticks alone deserve a 5 star review. We went for the Pacers Playoff game 6, place was packed, but service was excellent. Drinks were strong, the food was even better. They had mozzarella sticks as a special which are my kryptonite. I wish I would've gotten a photo of the cheese pull...it was the best pull I've seen and the best mozzarella sticks. The live music was also great which ended as the game started.

The patio alone is enough to make me go to the Dugout Bar! Big enough for all your needs. It is a self-seating type of place with delish food and face service. We got our food just 10 minutes after ordering even though there were large parties all around us. I'll definitely be back

This place is fucking awesome. Nice bartenders. Cubs games on tv all summer. There's nothing to not like about this place.

Ask the Community - Dugout Bar

Is the this bar 21 and older weekday lunch time?

This was accurate three years ago, but no longer. Kids are always welcome on the patio and in one section of restaurant until late night.

Some places are perfect because they're polished…read more Tin Roof is perfect because it doesn't care about being polished. After a Fever game, this was exactly the kind of place we were looking for--live music, cold drinks, and enough energy to keep the night going without feeling over-the-top. Walk in and you're immediately greeted by a stage that's impossible to ignore. The DJ had the crowd going, people were singing along, and there wasn't a single person who looked like they regretted coming. Whether you're grabbing a table, hanging out by the bar, or bouncing between the patio and the music, it's one of those places where it's easy to lose track of time. "One More Song..." Meter: The décor is exactly what you'd hope for in a place like this--license plates, signs, random memorabilia, neon everywhere, and enough character that you'll catch yourself looking around between conversations. The menu is surprisingly extensive for a music venue, too. Burgers, tacos, wings, tenders... basically whatever your post-concert (or post-game) appetite decides it wants. Post-Game Recovery Score: This isn't the place for a quiet date night or an intimate conversation. It's where you go when you want music, laughter, people watching, and a crowd that's clearly there to have a good time. Would I make it part of another downtown Indianapolis bar hop? Without hesitation. "Should We Stay for One More Drink?" Meter:

All the bartenders were super attentive and checked on us regularly. I ordered my usual, a tequila sunrise, and it was delicious! The DJ had a great mix of music going, adding to the fun vibe. If you're looking for a casual spot to pop into before a downtown event, Tin Roof is the place. Bonus: the food is tasty and super affordable too!
