Went there for a sausage burrito and steak burrito and they got my order wrong. Gave me a bacon burrito instead of a steak. Drive thru lady lied to cover her mistake and said she repeated my order and I agreed it was correct. Putting the blame on me. I waited in the drive for a total or repeat of my order. I pulled up after a few minutes of waiting. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! After all that...the expensive 17$ steak breakfast burrito was awful. I usually like the food and the service here. I don't know what happened today. I stopped by to order a bacon-avocado cheeseburger on the way home. Once I got home I bit into the sandwich but couldn't taste the bacon or the avocado. That's because they didn't put any of either in the burger. Boooo..... Do not order through the drive thru. I order 1 breakfast burrito, I was asked to move up to an additional pick up spot as my order was almost done. I move up and waited and watch two people behind me get their food before me. The girl explained that it was packed inside which I get but why did the two others in the drive thru get their order before me? Make it make sense. Safe to say first come don't get served first. Used to eat Breakfast there all the time. Basic Egg, Bacon, Toast & Hash browns. Fast service inexpensive diner yet I ate there this morning. I could taste cleaning detergent taste on my Bacon. It was awful taste. The rest of food was fine but i knew someone didn't properly rinse off soap from tray that held all the cooked bacon. read more

Always receive consistent food quality. never had an issue with service and food orders. the ladies that work the counter and deliver the food to your table are super nice and helpful. there are tvs around the dining area that could get a bit loud. overall great experience here. Not sure if ownership has changed...knew original owners many years ago..my son went this weekend and cashier was horrible!!!! Messed up the order he literally went back 5 minutes later and they claimed they didn't know who he was or what he ordered...was charged over $40 for 3 items and another $20 for items they messed up on...it's unfortunate because Duke's is a neighborhood staple but probably won't be back any time soon! read more

This is the go-to spot for my roommates and I when I we are craving classic diner food. We often get burgers, fries, zucchini fries, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, etc. Never been disappointed and the staff is very nice. We currently only go drive-thru because of the pandemic, but we will definitely be sitting down for a meal once this pandemic is over :) read more

We come and eat breakfast here a lot. It's a basic food restaurant in a primarily industrial area of an industrial city, with a mostly Hispanic clientele. It is great for what it is, I know I'm not in West Hollywood or Pasadena, I am in La Puente and this place very good for the area. The food, the people, and the interactions, are great. :) read more

Dukes. Dukes has been around seems like forever. They burned down and restored the whole restaurant. 60+ parking stalls and two handicap stalls. They have a drive through that is always busy. The industry in the area makes it easy to get food and run back to work. A on the door with about 12+ tables booths and chairs. No outside tables. Very clean tables and chairs. Big and bright menu boards. Made to order and very flexible when asking for substitutes. Food was ordered and in no time it was at the table. Under 10 minutes. Very hot served fresh and clean. With that said a few things that didn't seem right, I didn't like was the burger bun it didn't taste fresh maybe it was out for the day. Burger was tasty but kinda dry. Asked for blue cheese dressing and they asked for 50 cents. No biggie but it should have been free. For these things is was a three starts. read more

Every time we order from this spot over the phone or through the app, they get ohs order right every time so that is worth mentioning and very important. We love the food here, the salsa that comes with the breakfast burritos....they only give you one and it's not filled up all the way in the container but it is very tasty and the heat builds as you eat it. There is not one thing on their breakfast menu that I have not liked. Super tasty. My mouth is watering just thinking about it while writing this review. read more

Don't use Grubhub to order pickup here. Just call or walk in and order. I ordered ahead of time for a later pickup. Showed up and the lady at the register had no clue what was going on. She had to get a younger lady to look it up. So my food wasn't ready and I had to wait because the staff is poorly trained. I ordered ahead of time to be somewhere at a specific time. Food is still good, but giving 3 stars due to lack of training for their employees. I blame the owners. Update: Don't do delivery either. They wait 20 minutes to start the order, only to cancel it another 20 minutes later, without notifying me. Never eating here again. read more

We decided to come here for lunch since the food looked good. I got the steak burrito and a couple of my co-workers got the burgers. When we walked in their was only one cashier which also had an attitude when taking our orders. Me and my coworker ordered and our other two co-workers was waiting behind us. When another customer came one of the other cashier HELPED her instead of our other coworkers that was already waiting. The whole time we were there the cashier that helped us had an attitude. Honestly wouldn't come back to this place. We would rather go back to Bob's burgers at least they're more fair and have a better attitude when it comes to customers. read more

There are many local burgers n fries type of restaurants. Dukes is the KING!!! Not only can you get fresh tasting burgers, but you can also get any time fresh breakfast. They will also go off menu a bit if you request, for example a veggie quesadilla, aka quesadilla w/pico. I live almost 20 miles away! However will plan a trip for some Bomb late (7pm) a$$ breakfast. Everything on the menu is Great, Big, & Quality. Wish they would stay open till 2am at least, but sadly they close early most days. Also very good price for the money$$$. read more

Most dishes are well under $10 and as good if not better than most other greasy spoons. I added a 5th star because they serve Farmer Brothers coffee, one of the best restaurant coffees around.
