We've been coming to Dukes for a long time. Every time we come here we get great service ,hot ,fresh tasty food. They are a very clean establishment and the food is always consistently good. If you like breakfast burritos try the steak burrito it's bomb. Also the French toast is spectacular, i'll have to add pictures of it the next time I order again . My all-time favorite is the chicken Caesar salad. Big portion nice hot grilled chicken tasty good flavor. I am a frequent customer here on Saturday mornings I would always enjoy to spend the morning with my mom and little sister here but then on 8/10/19 while having breakfast I was almost done with my food when I was about to take the last bite I noticed a BLADE!!! ON my fork.. this was not just the only surprise when I went up to the counter I told the lady that took my order and told her what had happened she basically said im sorry I'll give you a discount for your next visit she even confirmed that it was one of the cooks blade that he had brought from home because they don't use those kind of blades there... I became more upset with the fact that when I demand to talk to the manager I was told he was not there once the police showed up all of a sudden the manager was in the back the entire time and that is when he decided to show his face... Amazing food. I'm actually typing this while I'm in here eating my food. I seen many people put bad ratings but hey everyone has different tastes. But by far best burger around here I moved here about 2 years ago and have not found a place I'd like. My husband stop by after eating bad shrimp tacos. We came inside very clean. The employees were very nice, polite and not pushy (we couldn't decide what we wanted) Love how there's very minimal noise. The tvs aren't too loud like other places. OK. I didn't think it was possible. But, believe me. It is. What is possible? You may ask. Killing yourself, by eating. No no no. Not, the death by unhealthy diet kind of death. All that sensibility went out the door the minute I walked up to the counter. "Can have a Bacon Cheese Burger and a Chicken Taco...no, make that, 2 Chicken Tacos." What were you thinking? Yeah, that's you asking again. I WASN'T thinking...at all! Oh, I did decline the fries and large drink that the cute girl taking my order offered. My thoughts were, "The tacos will be small, like appetizers. So I'll have an easy time finishing those. And, it's much healthier than fries." After paying for my order, I went to lean against a rail that separated the dining room from the front counter, and at ease watched the cook put together several orders. One of the things I appreciate is seeing a cook in control of his kitchen. I'm not going to go into detail about what that means, but for those Yelpers whose ever worked a line. I know you know what I mean by appreciate, right? On with the story. So, I'm chilling and observing the cook work, and I'm witnessing him put together my 2 tacos. "Oh, damn. Those are NOT some small tacos." I think to my self. Outwardly, I was as cool and calm as a clam. Inwardly: "Oh fuck, what the hell am I going to do with ALL this food?!" Cook finishes my burger, and the cute girl who took my order let me know my to-go is ready to go. I smile and thank her and bid her adieu, and get my ass back to work. I realize as I head back to work that the bag that holds my death sentence feels like it is weighing a good 5 lbs. "I'll just eat the tacos and bring the burger home for dinner. Yeah..." Still, trying to be sensible. I get back to work and prop myself in front of the computer and reach in the bag for a taco. With fork in hand, I pick at the grilled chicken, shredded cheddar and pico de gallo. "Mmm! Very good!" Undisturbed, I eat and work, eat and work and before I knew it, the first taco met it's demised. "MMMM! M! Next one!" Second taco in hand, eat and work, eat and work. And, just like it's twin before. Terminated. But, as I was cleaning up and just about to put the burger into the refrigerator, Idiot(me) tells me, "Dude, the burger is going to get soggy by the time you get it home..." You ever Jedi mind trick yourself into doing something stupid? Well, at that moment, I did. "...and, you are still hungry." Idiot waves his hand at me in Jedi fashion. "Why, yes. I am still hungry." It's a wonderful greasy spoon/diner with great burgers and sandwiches that are practically free. Grilled cheese for 2.50? How do these guys turn a profit! The portions are filling and the oil is generous. The grill the bread just how I like it: toasty golden brown on a pastel yellow backdrop to indicate that the grease has thoroughly soaked through. Heart attack, here I come! My favorite combo is the Chef Salad with Fried Zucchini, extra Ranch dressing. They have my food waiting by the time I've turned the drive-thru corner and reached the window. It's amazing how they do it. After the first bite, I was in sandwich heaven. It was so good, that I stole my girlfriends other half and ate it on my way home. She thinks that I ate it for her health, cause I didn't want the avocado to go bad and next thing I know, she will be sick. I could not let that happen to her, so I had to take one for the team. As yummy and delicious as that sandwich was, I was thinking of my baby's health first and foremost. If it ever comes down to making that decision again, I will gladly take one for the team. They serve everything from breakfast (eggs, pancakes, steak & eggs, breakfast burritos), gyros, burgers, fish & chips, salads to tacos. My grilled cheese and zucs were about $7 total. Pros: New place rebuilt after fire incident. Cons: Food was bland. This place is ant infested despite the place being rebuilt brand new. I passed by Duke's everyday and wanted to try the food there. It's a typical casual Mexican style burger joint. I usually order the bacon cheeseburger like I always do at other private owned burger place. The cheeseburger combo comes with a small drink and fries. The fries isn't anything special; they were just jumbo potato fries which were bought from super stores that were already pre made and they just deep fried it. The drink was the same as any place. The cheeseburger was flamed broiled which I like and the bacon was crispy but the burger itself had no flavor due to the diced onions. It also had a weak sauce with no flavor brought out because it's overpowered by the onions and the messy lettuce that spewed out immediately; the wet tomato also plopped out when I took a bite. The place had one thing that really BUGS me: ANTS CRAWLING EVERYWHERE! The place was rebuilt after a fire incident and I assumed that it had pest controlled. When I sat down, I already immediately saw a few ants scouting around for food as they leave a scent trail to call the other part of the colony. I used the napkin and wiped them away with the trail. There were still other trail of ants crawling around near my table. When I received my burger plate with fries, I immediately saw an ant crawling inside. I was freaked out. The staffs working there probably noticed the ants but didn't' bother with them. Good thing the ant didn't touch any of the food but just the plate as I got it out in time. BUT in the end, the food was not good and this experience at Duke's was bad. I don't recommend this place unless you like bland food or are an anteater. I am never coming back here again! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. After going there this morning for a family breakfast, I was incredibly disappointed and frustrated with their customer service. We ordered quite a few things and paid a pretty penny for what we got, however, the girl who took our order ( her name is Karen ) managed to get four, not one, but FOUR of our orders all wrong and when we told her that what we got food that we didn't order she decided to put the blame on us. After each and everyone one of us in my party specifically order exactly what we wanted and reconfirmed with her before paying. After we told her that we didn't get what we wanted she offered us only one order of a 3 stack pancake but never brought it out to us; it wasn't until my dad asked for the pancakes that she decided that she was going to charge us for it; I'm sorry but how was it right that we had to pay for pancakes that were offered FREE at first? Customer service was the absolute worst and only caused us to be disappointed with the locations, all and all. My family and I will definitely NOT be returning. read more

Sure, a converted Wendy's isn't the most appealing of locations, but after a disastrous stop at Bob's Burgers, it looked just fine. Nice and clean inside with a flat screen TV playing NCAA football, it's not a bad place to eat...if you can get by the fact that whoever ordered the chairs did not consult with the guy who ordered the tables (you'll see). If I can get a patty melt, I get a patty melt at a place like this, as mega-chains don't do melts. Mine was interesting. Flat rye bread + flat burger = flat sandwich. It didn't look like it was going to be good, but it did achieve goodness, though not greatness. Perfectly edible and reasonably enjoyable. My wife is a grilled cheese fan, and someone on Yelp has recommended getting it with avocado...so she did. Even though it had dreaded American cheese, they are extremely generous with the avocado (which actually looked like sliced cucumber on the sandwich--see pic). Her report is that is was definitely good and she would order a grilled cheese this way in the future, though not necessarily here. Like my sandwich, hers was vertically challenged. read more

This is a nice lil restaurant..in my neck of the woods. I went there with my ex-boyfriend. I convinced him to try a d-licious turkey sandwich with avocado. He was a bit hesitant at first, but he did. It's a good pack up and go late night snack while watching a good movie at the Drive-In. This sandwich is quite filling. I thought I'd eat half and save the rest for later. Or, so I thought. I have gone to this location for many years, never having a issue. The first issue arose today (Sunday, 11/7/2021. My boyfriend ordered the gyro sandwich, the meat looked a few days old.
