Love the breakfast here! Always come by for a French toast combo! They have a drive thru, pretty quick making orders and it's never crowded.

My coworkers was mentioning this place for a while now. Not sure if management changed and how many times, but they said it's been here for decades and it one of the few places where they told me I could find a salad in the area, haha. It has a pretty eclectic menu with a Mexican influence and the place itself kind of feels like a fast food place / fast casual complete with drive through. Think of like a Norm's or something in terms menu, but serving out of a building / process of like a Burger King. I actually didn't get the salad...I got a breakfast burrito. It came with a cup of salsa and was pretty darn large. It was good and it came with a cup of salsa. Definitely would come back and seems to be one of the more popular lunch spots in the area. Quick, efficient, and good. Parking was pretty easy because it is its own stand alone building with its own lot.

Every time I come here, the service is on point. The food is delicious. The prices you cannot beat.I love coming to Dukes.

At first glance I didn't think the hamburger would have filled me up. It looked pretty small and the meat was thin but it did the job. The fries were well seasoned and crispy, they were also very generous with the amount of fries they served. The service was good they served the food in a timely manner. The establishment also looks well maintained.

This is a great mom and pop joint. I always get the chicken sandwich with fries. Always tastes fresh. Fries are seasoned and taste amazing. Drive through can take some time but there's never a long line so it's an average wait.

Definitely quick and go kind of meal. Got the zucchini fries and pastrami burger. Zucchini fries are good, good portion and yummy. Pastrami burger was hefty and packed Overall definitely a must try place for a quick and filling food.

Greek Salad with Chicken-Uber Eats Delivery Service

***BEWARE*** * Not Welcoming * Everything is a Charge (Fork & Spoon & Knife is a Charge Next) * Saying "Hello" a Charge $$$$ * Poor Service * Stated we drizzled already I've ordered Greek Salads from this restaurant through Uber Eats multiple times, and while the food is generally good, I've recently encountered an issue that has happened twice. The last two times I ordered, the restaurant forgot to include the dressings, even though their menu clearly allows you to select two dressings per salad. This time, I made sure to ask the delivery driver to cross-reference if the dressings were included. The driver was informed that dressings were considered an extra charge, despite my selection of two Ranch and two Oil & Vinegar dressings for my two salads, as allowed on the app. It's frustrating to be offered a choice during the order process and then not have it honored. Uber Eats did provide a refund, but the experience has left me wary. If you decide to order from here, double-check with the restaurant to ensure your order is complete--especially if you care about getting the dressing included with your salad.

$20 breakfast burrito with chicken or steak. For a fast food joint to be selling food at those prices is ridiculous. I'll never go back.

It's simple but full of character, featuring cholo-style artwork inspired by Blood In, Blood Out, along with actor signatures that give the place a cool, authentic vibe. We were able to sit back, enjoy great company, and have an even better meal. The kids loved the breakfast burrito, waffles, and the classic breakfast plates. I ordered the chorizo omelette, and it did not disappoint -- generous chunks of perfectly cooked chorizo throughout. You can truly taste that everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients. The country fried steak is incredible as well -- definitely worth trying. There's plenty of parking, including street parking since the restaurant sits on a corner. They offer covered outdoor seating with a gated area and a TV, plus indoor seating if you prefer. I will most certainly be returning. Highly recommend!

That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and immediately sets the tone. The food was excellent. I had the pancake combo and my son ordered the cheeseburger--both were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Even the ranch was standout. George then offered samples, which honestly sealed the deal. I don't like seafood at all, but the clam chowder was unbelievably good. And the biscuits and gravy? No exaggeration--the best gravy in the area. Nothing else comes close. The décor is another highlight. The Blood In Blood Out theme throughout the café is very cool, especially seeing the murals on the walls signed by actual cast members who have visited. It gives the place a unique character and makes it feel like more than just a café--it's an experience. Amazing food, amazing service, and a welcoming atmosphere. This is officially my new go-to spot for breakfast and lunch. Next visit, I'm trying the country fried steak and the chicken fettuccini. Highly recommend.

Before, the place felt super homey, welcoming and the vibes were just there. A diner you would actually want to go weekly with your family or even a solo trip. Whoever bought the place absolutely GUTTED the soul and warmth out of the space. Before, the walls were covered with different legit retro signs of Betty Boop or funny wall frames, pictures of families, regulars, collection of license plates, the whole 9 yards. The windows were always decorated seasonally and if you were to see the place from the street, you would actually want to stop by and check it out. Now... it feels like a cold gym locker. The walls looked like they picked the cheapest blue and black paint they could get on sale and threw it on the walls without priming them first. LED signs to give it that cheap retro look that isn't it. Should have kept it how it was if retro is what you were going for. Also invest in toilet seat covers, raw dogging the toilet seat isn't for everyone. Not sure if it's the pipes or maybe the mop wasn't cleaned right, but the women's restroom smelled like wet dog. Service was great. The former owner served us, she was a but rushed but nonetheless, great hospitality. She welcomed every guest with such warmth and like an old friend. Didn't catch the name of the guy with the gauges, but he had great service as well. The food was all right. Definitely too well seasoned and salty. The waffles and pancakes were bland, not even the butter or syrup was able to save them. Add more vanilla or cinnamon to the batter if they're made from scratch. The plates are no longer glass or ceramic, they are now a hard plastic material, so don't cut too hard on them to prevent getting some mircoplastics on your food. We spent about $82.00 on 3 food items, a coffee with refills and an apple juice. This place is STILL CASH so bring cash or use their ATM machine.

I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 10:21AM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. However, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is very hidden. It has no visibility from the street! Staff is very professional and welcoming. Staff politely and cheerfully answered all my questions. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. For example, the location does not have a paper menu; all the menus are accessed via QR Code. Fortunately, Staff let me borrow their iPad which allowed me to see the menu on a larger screen. When I'd arrived, Staff asked if I was dine-in or to-go. I was immediately seated. When I'd inquired about the boba. Staff honestly told me that they needed 15 additional minutes to prepare the boba. I brightly waited. All in all, after the 15 minute wait, the drink took an additional 10 minutes before being ready. As mentioned, I ordered the Boba Bear Set ($8.50). CUTE!!! It's a very aesthetic and memorable presentation. The boba pearls came perfect; they're bouncy, perky, and playful. The brown sugar milk tea mixed with the caramel foam tasted honey-like. It's very TASTY! My biggest nitpick is that the amount felt tiny. Still, it's a wonderful memory that I'm so happy to experience! On ambiance, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is comfortable and clean. There's about 13 interior tables, and there's six patio tables. The music is slow-tempo, and the tall ceiling made it feel spacious. In addition, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) has utility. There's customer internet with password; details are available on the QR code menu. There's also about four electrical outlets. I also appreciated the self-service water station. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) felt very hidden yet well-maintained. It's a lovely spot. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience. I discovered AMAZING milk tea and many precious memories. If searching for someplace special, I happily recommend. 4.9 out of 5
