I finally got to try Dulce Canella, and it definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. We got their foodie plate that includes mini pancakes, churros, fried oreos, ice cream, and two toppings. Everything came out warm and fresh, and the churros were crispy and yummy We also tried their Dubai-style tried orebs, which were super rich and fluffy inside. They also have chicken strips and fries if you want something savory. Everything paired well with their coffee (I recommend asking for less sweet since it leans on the sweeter side). I wish this spot was closer to me, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're craving fresh, good desserts.

I like to try a little bit of everything so i came in and was glad to see they had a foodie plate with churros, pancakes and fried oreos. I got the cookie butter topping and it was so good, I liked the ice cream on top as well. I also got a seperate order of their churros and they were a 10/10, so good! Soft crunchy warm & fresh. service was great, the owners are very friendly people. Definitely recommend this place out its a small parking lot but I didnt find a problem finding any parking

Been eyeing this place for a while, got the chance to try it and I'd say it was pretty good. I'm not much of a cheesecake guy but after eating their churro cheesecake, I'd say I have a flavor of cheesecake that I WOULD eat. They are mainly known for their churros and deep fried Oreos. The staff was very nice, and then gentlemen taking my order was able to help me guide through what is a commonly ordered item and what he suggests. Really good place if you want something sweet !

We always get the catering order for churros and plátanos fritos when we have big gatherings & Dulce Canella always comes thru! We are very picky when it comes down to churros, we don't like them from just anywhere but we for sure always like the from here. I have yet to try other menu items! First time coming here and overall it was a good experience. The churros were fresh, warm, and delicious. We did pay for 8 churros but only received 6, which was a bit disappointing. Besides that, everything tasted great and it definitely hit the spot for dessert. I'd still come back and give it another try.

If you have a sweet tooth you need to try this place! Its a small walk in store front with a couple of tables. Everything is made to order so it sooo fresh!!! The cashier was so helpful and gave us some recommendations. We got a couple things to try: Foodie plate (fried oreos, churros, pancakes with toppings and a scoop of ice cream) 9/10 Churro cheesecake 8/10 Oreo milkshake 7/10 The churros were so fresh abd crunchy! If you are in Norwalk, this is a must try place for desserts and they are open late night!

DELICIOUS CHURROS! Dare I say better than Disneyland? The only thing that makes them not as good as Disneyland is that you are not eating them at Disneyland. The churros are made fresh to order. They are not huge so get a few. We ordered an 6 piece for the whole family to share. My son also got a Horchata milkshake and loved it. The Carmel sauce is super yummy but honestly the churros don't need anything. We are excited to come back and try other things. They are now advertising Dubai chocolate too!

Craving something sweet I searched Dubai strawberries and Dulce Canella popped up. I ordered the 16oz cup, and a slice of the churro cheesecake topped with Nutella and strawberries. The portion was big, and definitely enough for me and my daughter to share. The Dubai chocolate strawberries were prepared perfectly. So much chocolate, pistachio cream and knafeh. They did not skimp, as you can tell by the pics! Plus the strawberries they used were sweet and firm. The churro cheesecake was also very delicious. Will definitely be ordering again 10/10!

came back again for dubai cup. $15 for a cup pretty damn pricy. Strawberry was really sour eventhough it looks fresh. Wish there were more chocolate and pitas cream inside. Flavour on those r pretty good which is why it won't get 1 star but also at the same time this doesnt justify the price at all. 6/10

This shop was a pretty cool spot for me and a few friends to visit after church. I think this place has potential for 5 stars but maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. First things first, the service staff there is very friendly and helpful. Very pleasant to be around. The churros are made fresh which makes the wait time longer than expected but it's well worth it. Not oily and plenty crispy. Where my friends and I went wrong was we should've ordered the Sundae instead of the 6 churros with ice cream. Overall really enjoyed the spot. Willing to come back and try something different.

Came today to do my taxes, had some time to kill so I came to check out the place, as someone from Guadalajara I often crave churros and tortas so I thought I gave them a try. I have been disappointed before with stale, flavorless and burned monstrosity so I didn't have my hopes up. The ambience was a bit lacking, it look like the words " Hopeful but shy" came to life as a restaurant. No to mention the workers were on break or atleat seem to be when I got there. The service was great friendly and welcoming, I had a variety of options and was happy to try. I got a churro and a cheesecake, at an affordable prize they tasted great and made wanna come back. What a gentle face that waitress had, and an welcoming attitude. I recommend if you come do your taxes make sure to pick up at least a hot churro from this place.

My sweet tooth was acting up so I decided to give Churros Dulce Canella a try. I ordered the Churro Sundae with condensed milk and Caramel as my toppings. Lucky enough I only live 5 minutes away so the churros were still hot once I dug in. The churros were crunch and fluffy and hot , the 2 toppings as well with the 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream that come with it was just perfect. The concept of churro sundaes is just spectacular. Overall I would recommend Churros Dulce Canella and most importantly I will be back. read more

We had Churros Dulce Canella cater for our on-campus movie night at Whittier College and nothing but praise and good feedback from students who attended about the quality of the churros ! So many people gave great feedback on the service as well and I cannot thank this business and Samuel enough for his quick responses, as well as flexibility when it came to booking the event! Definetely things change once you become big it sort of lose the taste of good food. Before we knew this guys in compton when they sell their churros out of the street you could tell they actually care. Now in their new location in norwalk things are not that great their platano frito was not good was not ripen and it tasted really nasty. Five stars for the fried plantains, -8 stars for the way it's soaked in sauce. Ask for the sauce on the side. Also slightly overcooked if you're used to Caribbean style plantains, but I'm sure you can ask for them underdone because they're fried after you order. read more

I've ordered from here before through doordash and never been disappointed, recently went to the actual store and ordered churros an iced coffee and cafe de olla. The churros never disappoint...ever! They are the best however my cafe de olla...I saw the guy take out the last of it that was in the big pan thing and put in the cup...no stirring nothing and when I tasted it realized I got all the sugar and canela in the bottom. I was disappointed. It was so sweet it not edible. But other than that the churros and iced coffee were good. read more

I had such an amazing, seamless experience with the owner, Samuel and his crew. After messaging with Samuel, he helped me figure out how many churros to order for my event, which turned out to be the perfect amount. I ordered the 60 churro party tray with some toppings on the side. The quality of the churros were unmatched and were a hit at my gender reveal. The prices were very reasonable and so was the delivery fee. The churros were dropped off at the time promised. I will definitely be returning here in the future. read more

I came and the churros were raw on the inside. Not just one of them all 8. I called and they said "no they are just really soft." The lady in the phone was very rude. I think I know when a dough is raw when it's still all sticking together. And when I came to pick up the fresh new order I was promised they said it expired the day before. The fact that there is a List of people who have this "free food" due to poor service the first time should say something. Overall my experience was not good and the 2 ladies in the front were very rude. I won't be coming back. read more

In summer of 2017 a traditional recipe and a dream made a small cart in a sidewalk in Compton famous.now we are launchng our first brick and mortar. We also have a trailer in Compton. We also love catering all your special events!

Update: They're no longer affiliated with Fivestars!…read more I've since gone two additional times to try their waffle bites. My last trip was kind of spontaneous because I suddenly got a Fivestars reward that day for these waffle bites. However, when I arrived, I was looking for the Fivestars tablet only to be met by a Clover tablet instead. It felt like I went through a time warp because the employee working behind the register didn't seem to have any idea what I was trying to say regarding Fivestars, though he did notice a little trifold card on the front counter mentioning Fivestars. I asked if he could get his manager so I could explain, and even show, him my Fivestars reward. The reward said "already accepted", which he almost thought meant I had redeemed it already, but if that were the case, then it would have said "already redeemed". Given that they've now done away with Fivestars, I'm not too surprised he may have gotten the words "accepted" confused with "redeemed", but luckily, he was happy enough to honor it for me. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, though he did ask me to repeat the topping and the drizzle that I wanted. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor ice cream with Fruity Pebbles toppings and a Strawberry drizzle on top. Since I had already tried the cookie flavors before, I figured I'd try the fruity flavors this time around. He said he needed about 5 minutes to prepare my waffle bites, which were presented a little different than last time. Last time, I got the Cookie Butter flavor with *Cookie* Crisp and Peanut *Butter* (see what I did there?), and it came in a small plastic takeout container. This one came in a large plastic cup, and I'm thinking the logistics may have changed a ton between my last two visits. I did appreciate how the employee asked if I wanted the waffles on top of or beneath the ice cream before making the waffle bites; I chose on top. He also asked if I'd like powdered sugar on top, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, neither of the waffle bites I got from my last two visits impressed me that much. As a matter of fact, the only thing that impressed me was the strawberry drizzle. Everything else fell kind of flat. While generous in size for the $8 price tag, the Cookie Butter and the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream didn't really taste like these flavors at all! For whatever reason, the peanut butter didn't add much flavor, but the strawberry drizzle added a lot! How even?! In short, the waffle bites weren't that much of an upgrade from the ice cream scoop that I had on my first visit. I'm willing to say "too much good was no good" here. The waffles themselves were good, but they can only do so much when a flavored ice cream doesn't even taste like that flavor. It's worth noting that on my penultimate visit, when I got the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, I saw two employees behind the front counter who were ready to take my order. I asked them to explain what the waffle bites were, but it took them a couple of tries to actually understand what I was asking. From what I gathered, the waffle bites were similar to the ice cream scoop I had on my first visit, but with the addition of a warm waffle to supplement the ice cream. However, the step-by-step process remains the same. I was initially told it would take 6 minutes to prepare the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, but it actually took 15! It seemed like one was training the other or they were trying to gather the ingredients and/or the steps needed to create the waffle bites. After about 10 minutes, I was told by one of the employees they had to make a new batch of waffles because the first batch had burnt. The music was getting pretty loud, so it was hard to hear him after that, but I didn't want to hold up the kitchen prep process any longer. I just said "Alright, sure" so he could continue preparing my order. I do appreciate how he let me know of this so that I'd know the reason for the extended wait, but I wish they weren't so ill-prepared during my visit. So overall, still 3 stars overall. I appreciate the prior partnership with Fivestars, but these missed opportunities have led me to believe that Cravings is just not for me. I doubt I'll try anything else on their ice cream menu, and considering that there are only a few parking spots in their lot, it will take a lot to get me to try their hot chicken. And speaking of lack of parking, I also want to mention that on my second visit, I saw two open parking stalls right in front of Cravings, one on either side of a car. That car had its driver's side wide open so that I couldn't park there. I had to park on the passenger side of that car, which he left much less room for. Perhaps a microcosm of the clientele in this part of town? Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Unfortunately, not everybody can make the most of them, and this is just one example of such. Thanks for the sweet treats Cravings, but I'll get my next one somewhere else.

Loved coming here for the fried oreos and the champurrado. The churros are nor great way way too doughy and seem uncooked and too greasy. Not sure if protocal changed but you could come here to get a champurrado be in and out the door within minutes. Now the last few times I have got the "there isn't any we can make some in about 20 mins". Great, next day I call and was told there was none but will have some in 30 mins...I call again in 40 mins and was told they don't make any until I order some. Excuse me what? The run around is so frustrating. You have the giant pot of champurrados I'm ordering just 1 cup so not sure why I have to first order to have some ready? After stopping at a pop up churro spot on valley view and Leffingwell, I was craving their delicious churros but to my surprise they are only there on Friday and Saturday. So I decided to go to a churro place near Cerritos. I found this place after looking on Google and drove there to try their churros. Churros where very small and skinny, but worst part was they where hard and had an old taste as if the oil was not changed in some time. I guess this is the last time I'll go there .
