[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a beautiful restaurant with specific colonial charm. The dim lighting created an authentic colonial feeling and is good for an intimate dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The baked brie and oysters rockefeller appetizers were amazing, but the brie could use more crackers on the side. The filet mignon was very good, but the side of truffle fries could be more flavorful. The branzino was delicious, flavorful, and the perfect texture. The herb risotto was the perfect complement, creamy without being gooey. The wienerschnitzel was lightly breaded and fried to perfection with a nice mix of beans and spatzle, the lingonberry jam added a nice touch of sweetness. The scallop entree was delicious, but comically small compared to the portions of the entrees. It was not a filling entree. The fruit cobbler and chocolate mousse were great desserts, but the crème brûlée could have been "brûléed" more. The waiter was very helpful and talkative.

This thanksgiving dinner was one of the best ive ever had thanks to Chef Malcom. My lamb chops and my girlfriends scallops were cooked to perfection. Thanks to June as well for taking good care of me and the family.

Best elk ossobuco ever!! We cleaned the plate dry!!

My partner and I had an exhausting day at the hospital and needed to treat ourselves for a late Valentine's dinner. Our service was superb and the dinner was even more outstanding!! We are mega foodies from San Francisco and know what a delicious meal taste like and I must say the dishes should've gotten a Michelin star here! We are definitely planning to return hopefully for Jazz night and dinner again!!

A charming restaurant that doubles as a bed & breakfast / inn. Now also open to outdoor and indoor dining. Delicious American & German food, and amazing service! We came to celebrate my boyfriend's parents' anniversaries, and it was a wonderful experience! How they're handling safety: When we went inside for dining, we had a private room - there was maybe one other party within the restaurant, so generally quite empty. All servers and staff were in masks. Service: Amy was our server and I have truthfully never met somebody more excited and welcoming! She was very enthusiastic in serving our courses, and also very attentive. She also prepared a candle on our dessert as part of the anniversary celebration. Food: They start off with providing popovers - so light - paired with butter and lemon curd. We got lucky and got 2 servings. As appetizers, we ordered the escargots - very buttery, and French onion soup. Highly recommend both, as they were very well prepared - though be warned: the onion soup contains a lot of cheese! My boyfriend and I also split the wienerschnitzel, which was more than enough for the two of us. Never had lingonberry jam before, but the sweet fruity jam paired very well with this entree! Overall: 5/5 - great food options, and the dining was very professional. Would love to return and try other entrees!

We visited the Duling-Kurtz House tonight for a Valentine's dinner. It was a great experience. The hot and dirty Tito's martini was truly one of the best martini's we've had in a long time - maybe ever. It had a nice, spicy kick. The food was amazing, the portion sizes were more than adequate, and everything was perfectly cooked. I can't believe we've only just discovered it. We had the lobster and crab crepes and the Kennett Square mushroom risotto. Wow. Amazing. We were in front of a beautiful fireplace in the Lena Room. Loved it. We will be back.

Painting with a twist for the night made me feel like Picasso because there was no such thing as mistakes. every and all details that you put into your art is "intentional" and the instructor helps you make it part of the art. this place is BYOB and food as well. the place is big enough to socially distance people and masks are mandatory so; you can have fun and be safe at the same time. they have all different types of art options which you can choose from (depending on the day of course) and it is just a fun time. it is a fantastic spot for sure to go with your significant other for a date night; once covid is over; it would be a great group activity for you and your friends or, if you just want to go solo and make new friends (everyone seems to be super friendly and again, once covid is over) it is a great spot to go. highly recommended for all artists and nonartists!

Booking the class was pretty easy online and they even offer discounts at check out so don't let the sticker price scare you! The only thing that bothered me was that the paintings don't offer a level of difficulty, I chose a picture for my party who hadn't done a painting before and it was a doozy! The atmosphere was really nice, a tight fit but completely do-able and made it more interactive (juggling a drink, a pallet, and brush!) The instructor was fast and for good reason this picture is hard! He was projective and fun. I wish he has a microphone head set and maybe up higher for us all to see what he was doing better. He moved fast, there was a lot to do in two hours. Overall I enjoyed my experience. Things I wish the instructor reminder us: to paint the edges of our pictures, sign it, and its ok to do things out of he box. He was supportive but had a lot to cover, a rating on the website might help beginners not take a huge jump to try this piece.

Different strokes for different folks..! Pub and Paint is absolutely amazingggg! My friends and I were feeling spontaneous and booked a paint night less than 12 hrs prior. There were available spots on a Monday at The Chesapeake Restaurant so we purchased tickets. The ticket included the canvas, the paint and all the subsequent supplies. This was our very first paint night - ever. I don't speak for others, but I am no Picasso or Van Gogh. Despite my lack of artistic talent, I was pretty excited. We arrived 30 minutes prior to the start time to take advantage of the Happy Hour deals (beer on a Monday, don't judge me!). Food was delicious, beer was even better. Brady, the instructor, was quite friendly and helpful. He was very instructive, encouraging and definitely created a fun and comfortable environment. The class was from 7 - 10 pm and time always flies when you're having fun and constantly having your beer refilled! I would definitely recommend Pub and Paint. This was an exceptional experience and I would do this again soon! Experiences like these remind me just how much I love living in Baltimore!

To be up front about things Brooke our teacher is also Co-owner, and I think her style and approach bodes well for anyone taking a class from her organization. We were lucky enough to be in a class comprised of only my three family members (one of the benefits of going on Easter ). Judging from the set up they do not overbook their classes like other groups do. And they allow children as young as twelve which the groups who do this in bars and restaurants simply don't. They have a minimum age of twenty one. The instructions were ear and the pace was casual. Brooke was very flexible in working with us, going as far as allowing our daughter to modify the color palette and adjusting her teaching to make sure my daughter got the effect desired. Before we left the next session had been planned so I would have to say we will do it anything. Check out their website they do a large variety of painting and quite a few special events. I recently went to a YELP ELITE event hosted by Painted Palette fell in love with the place and decides this would be a fantastic idea for my birthday. I called looking for something at least 5 weeks in advance. I called left and message and a day goes by I dont receive a call back. So I call again and again and again, I get the voicemail each time. I decide to send a email. I receive a pretty quick response. The day I would like is booked, bummed out a little but hey Im flexible. I request two other dates one date is booked for my alloted time and the other date had a inquiry but the party had not booked as of yet. Well I let Becca know that I would take the date if the other party did not book. She emailed me back, thanked me for my flexibilty and told me she would get back to me ASAP. well this has been the longest ASAP I have ever endured. I have not heard back from her and I actually took the time to stop into the studio to see if the date had actually booked. I Spoke with the co owner who told me she would take down my information give it to Becca and I should hear from her that evening. I really dislike being kept in limbo its very unprofessional, my time is more important than the money I spend. A simple email back or phone call letting me know I had not been forgotten or the date was booked is all I needed. Anyway I booked with another company, My Birthday "Paint nite Baltimore" will still go on. Ladies if you do happened to read this, I think you have a great concept and I really did enjoy the Elite event, however your follow ups and response to phone calls definitely need some improving.
