If you're into cozy vibes, adorable décor, and dumplings that actually deliver, Dumpling Panda is an easy yes. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by rows of little panda figurines lining the shelves and a giant panda mural surrounded by bamboo steamers on the wall--honestly one of the cutest restaurant setups I've seen. Now let's talk food. The soup dumplings were the star of the table--perfectly pleated, delicate wrappers with that rich, savory broth inside that makes you pause for a second before your next bite. Soft, steamy, and full of flavor. I also ordered the honey walnut shrimp, which came out crispy, sweet, and creamy with just the right crunch from the candied walnuts. Dangerous in the best way. Rice was fluffy, portions were solid, and everything came out looking just as good as it tasted. Even the sauce bowl was cute. Service was attentive without hovering, and the space felt clean, bright, and inviting. Dumpling Panda is definitely going into my comfort-food rotation. Great for a casual lunch, date night, or when you just need dumplings to fix your mood.

This place was quite disappointing. I am not sure if the good reviews are mostly based on takeout, but the dine-in experience was not good at all. There also isn't much ventilation, so you will end up smelling like food. We were seated quickly, and the dining area itself was not very busy, but service was still fairly slow. There is also not much seating inside, which makes the space feel cramped and not ideal for dining in. The restaurant seemed more focused on takeout orders, and our table felt largely ignored. We ordered chicken lo mein, Mongolian beef, honey garlic chicken wings, beef pan-fried dumplings, and vegetable fried rice, and overall, everything was just mediocre. The dishes came out sporadically over 30+ minutes, so by the time one plate arrived, we had already finished the previous one. The chicken lo mein was burnt and oddly topped with cilantro, which did not work with the dish. The Mongolian beef was okay, but nothing special, and definitely not the best version of the dish that I have had. The chicken wings had an off taste and seemed undercooked. The vegetable fried rice was very salty and extremely oily. The beef pan-fried dumplings took the longest to arrive and were the worst dish of the night; the filling was thin, shredded beef with a strange bulgogi-like flavor that did not suit the dumpling at all -- definitely would not recommend ordering them. There were three servers on the floor, but only one appeared to be consistently working. The other two checked on us occasionally but were not very attentive, even when we were actively trying to get their attention. At this point, you might as well spend your money at a real local Chinese restaurant or, honestly, even go to Panda Express instead.

First Time Here. I remember this spot was a not so great seafood joint.

This review is for both the Ft. Lauderdale and Miramar Locations. I would say both are equally good with the same level of great service. I came across this place while working out of our Ft. Lauderdale Office and looking for a nice lunch spot. Their tagline is "Authentic Bites" and one you taste the food, you'll see there's truth in advertising. The menu is not extensive but there are really great items throughout. The Appetizers are stellar. The Taiwanese Crispy Pork Chop, hits you upfront with bold Five Spice and perfectly cooked pork. Spare Ribs are tender, flavorful and delicious. The Scallion Pancake and Spicy Cucumber Salad are not to be missed. They're all suitable for sharing but by far my favorite Drunken Chicken is no longer on the menu. It was absolutely fantastic and was always my go to. The classic dumplings are very nice but the Soup Dumplings are small but packed with pork, crab, or chicken. There are eight to an order and you may think I can't finish all this but then it's "that went by fast". I haven't had the Fried Rice but the Noodles are excellent. Dan Dan and Zha Jiang Mian are a must try. If you're looking for something more standard grab the Kung Pao, Mongolian Beef or General Tao's Chicken. Not to mention the Candied Walnut and Shrimp is plain delightful. Dumpling Panda will always be one of my go to spots for a nice lunch or a relaxing dinner. Here's hoping they bring back the Drunken Chicken or teach me how to make it.

Stopped by Dumpling Panda on a whim while in the 17th street plaza for a Total Wine run. I didn't realize they had opened and my husband and I decided to try it with a quick to go order. We walked in and placed an order at one of their very convenient order computers at the counter. We ordered a few different things to try - but I was most excited for the traditional soup dumplings. The food came out really fast! We live nearby so everything was still hot and fresh when we got home! The soup dumplings and the Lo Mein dish I had were amazing and my husband loved the fried dumplings with the cheese on top! The service was super fast, food was fresh and the staff were all very friendly! Overall, this was a really great take out experience and I will definitely be returning for more soup dumplings for sure! 10/10 recommend!

Ordered from Dumpling Panda again with UberEats. I would say the food was even better than my first purchase. Good packaging. Quick delivery. Will go to the location to see the ambiance. Highly recommend!:)

This restaurant is fairly new. I think it was a good option for the area. The food is pretty consistent. I do enjoy the food here. The service can be a bit slow. I first went here when they first opened and restaurant was obviously very clean. I have noticed the last time the restaurant cleanness started to decline a bit. Overall this is a good asian restaurant and I recommend it.

Parking was plenty and free. We happen to land a spot right in front of the entrance! The restaurant was clean and the server was friendly. Soon as we sat down, we dove into their menu and ordered a bunch of items. The arrived at different times which we loved since we were sharing everything. All in all, we shared the Vegetable Dumplings, Spicy Cucumber Salad, Scallion Pancake, Drunken Chicken, Spare Ribs, and Pan-Fried Shanghai dumpling . The little one loved the scallion pancake & the Shanghai dumplings.

I really wanted to love this because it's much closer than Dumpling King but the soup Dumpling was 6/10. It had a lot of fat in it from the pork which I've never experienced from a Dumpling. It lacked flavor. The place was empty, which I was really shocked. I thought for sure it would've been busy, but I kind of see why between this and the other dumplings we ordered I don't think I'll be back. Somebody did tell me that their rice is better so maybe one day I'll try that.

I had the best experience at Dumpling Panda last night!! The space is nice and bright with a ton of tables for dine in, and a few outside as well if you prefer Al fresco. You can also order take out on a kiosk at the front counter. The staff quickly greeted us and sat my boyfriend and I. They were so extremely kind and attentive. I asked the waitress for her recommendations for apps which was the wings and bbq spare ribs. We took her recommendation for the ribs and I'm SOOOO glad we did. They were hands down our favorite dish. The marinade was perfection. Looking at them at first I thought they were going to be dry but to my surprise they were perfectly tender and fell right off the bone. We also had the scallion pancake, the Sichuan red chili wontons, pork soup dumplings, and beef pan fried dumplings. We loved the Siuchan dumplings and soup dumplings. The Siuchan had a great flavor, they also make their own chili oil. I really enjoyed the soup dumplings. They may seem small, but they are definitely mighty. Sometimes soup dumplings can lack good soup content but I thought these had a great ratio. The scallion pancakes were just alright (some more crisp than others). The beef dumplings I didn't care for. I felt the beef was a tad too salty for my preference. For dessert we took home the mochi donuts drizzled with Nutella. They were really great. Some bites were just a litttttle too greasy but overall still great. Overall it was a really great experience and I can't wait to go back. We need some diversity in soflo and dumpling panda is the perfect addition to the neighborhood.

Service was attentive and speedy. The food was super flavorful. One thing I didn't like was the shrimp tails on the wonton. I actually hate it and would -1 but it was taste so they still get 5 stars.

Quick - fresh lunch spot. We ordered chicken soup dumplings and pan fried chicken dumplings. The soup dumplings were so fresh and filling. Service was friendly. Will be back for lunch.

First thing, what a cozy place. The staff were very welcoming. Dumpling Panda is on a corner at the Cordova street Publix complex. My friend and I were invited for lunch there. We had fun catching up and enjoying the cuisine. We ordered dumplings (duh) and they had bowls of noodles and fried rice. Everything was delicious! I ordered some scallion pancakes for the table. They were a hit. We chose one plate of crab/pork soup dumplings and one fried pork gyoza. The soup dumplings were nice and juicy. The gyoza were good and enhanced by the house made chili oil. I tasted our compadre's food and now I want to return for a bowl of noodles. We had fun and took home some hot + sour soup. Consumed it while watching Svengooli. Very tasty.

I saw a few happy reviews of Dumpling Panda off the SE 17 Street Causeway in Fort Lauderdale. I felt totally the opposite. It had the worst dumplings I ever tasted. I tried the soup dumplings and shrimp/oork dumpling. Not only did they not shave any real taste to it, but I also tried the scallion pancakes. It too was the worst I ever tasted. There was nothing inside the doe whatsoever. I will not be going back to this place. Stick to Dumpling King instead. I want to respond to the owner comment. My benchmark on this review is based on Dumpling King which I have liked a lot. My expectation is comparing this place to them. And I couldn't believe how awful that meal was. I don't just give a one star haphazardly. Most of my reviews are positive but not with these dumplings. And I have tried other places for dumplings but sorry ...it was tasteless. The scallion pancake was totally empty inside the doe. I would like to see a larger and plumpier dumpling. Maybe your main dishes are better and I would consider going back for that. But I couldn't believe how bad I found those dumplings. I'm not trying to hurt your business on purpose. I'm giving an honest assessment.

I didn't understand the prices until the food came out. The shrimp and scallops were HUGE. I mean the size of a crab cake almost. The quality and freshness of the seafood makes this place next level. The portions are also large and shareable -- for 2 ppl we had leftovers. I fell in love with the Chinese mustard sauce they put on the table. Added the perfect touch of spice / heat. They have a full bar but they made me a nice grapefruit cocktail I enjoyed.

While waiting for my party to arrive, I perused the wine menu. It was quite extensive. I think an oenophile would be quite happy with the selection offered. I had a Cotes du Rhone (Alain Jaume, $12) that I thoroughly enjoyed. The menu is adequately sized, but I would not say it was extensive. If you are looking for your favorite Sunday eve dish, you may not find it here, but you won't have a problem if you can pivot to another preparation. Dishes ordered at my table were a spring roll, a house special wonton soup (very flavorful) and lobster dumplings for appetizers. If I can be nit-picky, I'd suggest that they change the size of their dishes to smaller plates and bowls. The food looked puny on the large stark-white plates without a garnish, but all the flavors were spot on, so does it really matter? I actually think it does because you can tell that the owners take pride in the details of their establishment. For entree's, we ordered a spicy shrimp dish (4 jumbo, crisp shrimps came in the order), a Grand Marnier crispy beef (4 large pieces), a house fried rice with nuggets of char siu pork, tender baby shrimp, white meat chicken, egg and vegetables and a special of wok fried string beans which was by far the standout of our meal. After supper, we ordered some tea. It was somewhat weak in flavor but that could have been our fault; we did not let it steep long enough. The waiter came by with a tray of delicious-looking cakes to choose from but we declined. Every person that we encountered was nicer than the next. The waiters were knowledgeable and paced our meal well. Prices are not inexpensive, and reservations are definitely suggested. They do takeout as well.

I asked the server how long they have been open and he said 8 months but I see Yelp pics and reviews dating back at least 3 years. Someone must have told him the wrong information but no matter, we are just glad we finally found it. We went with the classic Shoyu Ramen with nishu beef and black garlic. I was over the moon when they touted a 12 hour chicken broth soup base. Every ramen shop I have tried to get ramen from has a pork based broth which I do not eat. I'm finally able to have ramen and boy it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly al dente and had a satisfying chew with every bite. The broth was so flavorful with the bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and all the slow cooked fats and oil from the chicken broth and the nishu beef, which was tender, thinly sliced rib-eye meat, I suspect. All this topped off with a perfectly cooked soy marinated egg. What an amazing flavor combination. The takoyaki appetizer was also delicious. Biting into the crispy exterior, you are then met with a soft and tender interior filled with chunks of octopus. The balls sat atop Japanese mayo and was drizzled with delicious takoyaki sauce. All it was missing was the katsuobushi which would have elevated the takoyaki flavor. We also ordered the Mala Shrimp which was on the Chinese menu and did not come with rice. That had to be ordered separately. Food came out quick as we were the only patrons apart from another table outside and service was good until a large party sauntered in and the server became inundated with requests. All in all, we will definitely be back to try out other menu items.

It's in a different type of location -- a very small strip of businesses with only a few spots in front -- in the middle of a residential location. We were driving by between lunch and dinner and decided to stop to bring some food home for a later meal. When we stopped by, we got to meet the owners and chef. They were both very welcoming and friendly. He told us about some special meals and made suggestions. He was preparing some blue crabs for his own lunch, and they looked wonderful. You can get some special meals here, off menu, if you preorder. We went with a couple of our usual choices so we could see how they compared. We ordered some pork with Chinese vegetables and an order of Singapore rice noodles. Plus, for me an order of egg roll. The rice noodles were such a large portion that it filled two containers. And we wound up eating several meals from our take home food. The eggroll was very good. I ate one right away! There were two to the order. It had a different crispy wrapper -- it seemed house made. And it was filled with larger bits of meat. I really liked it. There was a lot of large flat pork slices in with the vegetables. In a brown sauce, there was broccoli, bok choy, pea pods, etc. It came with a side container of white rice. The rice noodles were fragrant with curry, but it only had a slight kick (as in not too spicy). There were lots of shrimp, chicken, and pork strips mixed in with the thin noodles. This dish was addictive. We are so glad we stopped to try them. Really one of the better Chinese places we've tried and certainly one of the better take-out places. Wish they were closer, or we'd be there more often.
