I came here twice thinking and hoping the first time was a one off. I ordered a breakfast sangawich. Sausage egg and cheese, hashbrowns and a carmel machiato.. Whoever the cook is needs training. My hash browns were burned. Why? Would you eat burnt potatoes? Then the coffee was the worst. Tasted like Americano with Carmel. WTH. So, I thought i would give them a second try. And guess what? Same issue. Burned hash browns. This time I ordered the $6 meal. I have the coffee to a homeless guy insiden bothering everyone who came in, including me. The guy is asking folks to buy him a soda. I did, but really? Come on manager. Why are you allowing all of this? I blame you and your management. I spent $20 with both orders, that I will never get back. I finished up an early morning appointment at Tufts Medical, so I decided to treat myself to some Dunkin Donuts. This location is about a 4 minute walk from Tufts. Upon arrival, the restaurant was super busy, with the line almost out the door. I stood in line for about 15 minutes, and then placed an order for my drink. The staff were nice, but my drink was a bit of a miss. I asked for caramel swirl, but my drink lacked in caramel flavor. Rebranded as just "Dunkin'", this small location is opposite where the other Dunkin' Donuts used to be but is still inside the food court at 8 Park Plaza, which is also known as the Massachusetts Transportation Building. It's not full size but they certainly have enough space for a queue and a few seats at a counter with stools. Organized in the morning, but you'll do way better by ordering ahead with the app instead of waiting in line and then waiting for your order. The staff here does have a clue. read more

This Dunks is located off of the Plaza by the old alley. This indoor plaza offers a nice variety of food places kinda like a food court and a BOA ATM along with AC in the summer and heat and shelter from the wind in the winter. So, this Dunks is a busy location. A bit messy all the time, but other than that, it's updated with their new branding. A few bar height stools line the windows along the street, which is nice. read more

Had time to wait before the Blue Man group show so we stopped by the Dunkin Donuts on the next block while we waited. It was freezing so some coffee and donuts sounded so good. Everyone was very happy and kind there. It was clean and easy to find. I haven't had Dunkin Donuts for such a long time but they were as good as I remember. Great staff at this Dunks! It's always the one I try to stop by when I'm in Boston. They always make the coffees perfectly to the order from my experience and I have never been let down. The staff are the nicest of any Dunks I have been to in the downtown Boston area! Online orders are always prepared quickly and if it isn't ready when I get there, it is within three minutes of waiting. All-around it is my preferred Dunks out of all of them in downtown Boston, and there's a lot of them! read more

I don't understand what these other yelpers are talking about! I go to this Dunk's all the time and in my opinion, it is one of the better, faster Dunk's in the Boston area. It gets pretty busy, especially in the AM, but I am always in and out fast--despite the line out the door. The line moves relatively quickly! The staff are usually pretty friendly as well. Please let me start by saying that the employees at this DD are phenomenal! They are kind and work very hard. The reason for the negative review is that this dunkin donuts raises prices over holiday weekends unethically because "tourists come into town and they don't notice the price differences". I have been coming to this DD and always get the same thing so it is noticeable when the price jumps from my normal charged amount. The price on the screen above the cashiers does not reflect the price that is charged. I mentioned this to the cashier and his response was that corporate sets the price but the owner changes the prices! This is so dishonest and disheartening. Curse you, DD. Usually I like you. Usually I enjoy your grilled cheese flatbread, or your cream cheese bagels. But the other night, you over-toasted your bagel. For shame. When I bit into it a while later, it wasn't as hot anymore and it was like biting into cement - breaking one of my permanent retainers. That damn bagel cost me $150. Have you ever had a $150 dollar bagel? Would you like to know what it tasted like? It tasted like a $2 bagel. If there was zero starts, this DD would get it. I usually like Dunkin Donuts, being in a lot of them. This one in Boston has got to be the WORST DUNKIN DONUTS in the USA. It's a shame they let one store destroy a big brand like that. First, they gave my order to someone else. I had to wait 20 minutes in the store. To get even worst they cashier asked for my receipt - as I would try to scam them for a bagel. It's clear they can't handle the traffic of people going in the store. (I can't believe they get so much business being that bad!) My bagel was burned and they didn't spread the cream cheese on it like they do on most places. The hash browns were very greasy and I couldn't even finish them. Also, you can't self serve yourself on sweeteners (they only have sugar on the stands) and the cashier wants to know "how many you need" - so stingy they are. read more

The only reason that this is getting two starts is because I like Dunkin. This location is one of the worst I have been to they are SLOW and not a single employee speaks a word of English except "next customer please" What does this mean for you? It means you will never get the right order and you will have to ask for it three times. At this location I have had them spill HOT HOT HOT coffee on me and snap my debit card in half. (YOU DON'T NEED TO SWIPE IT THAT HARD and no I didn't need my debit card for the next 3-6 weeks thank you) The only reason I go back is because it is so close to school. Story time!!! Okay, so I ordered a small coffee with some French Vanilla flavoring and extra cream and sugar because I had to present for a class early in the morning. I wasn't completely awake yet. I go to class and place the coffee cup on the small desks they give you in college, and made the mistake of standing up, knocking the coffee over before I'd even had a sip of it. Embarrassing, right? Because it's just a small coffee, I figured I'd be willing to go back and pay for another one after class, so I came by again to reorder the coffee. I offered money and all, but the lady behind the counter must've recognized me and pieced together what had happened already, because she said "No, you dropped the coffee?" This Boston location is pretty cool because of the updated interior, but it is very expensive compared to ones in Somerville and Arlington.

I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of DD after having worked there in my youth and having consumed too many donuts, bagel sticks and coolatas, but I still go to DD on occassion. This store happens to be the closest to where I live so I've been here about three times over the past two months First, its a DD. Yes, there is always a line. Its a small store with offices and residents all around, so there are always customers. The line moves fast. Today I waited maybe four minutes to place an order and another three minutes to wait for my coffee and sandwich. Not all their staff are well trained. On all three of the occassions the gentleman who makes the sandwiches had trouble understanding what the order display board was telling him. The first time, the lady making my order had to tell him what my sandwich was. The second time no one helped him and he got it all wrong (sausage egg and cheese no egg extra sausage turned into a sausage and cheese, so mostly right, but still cost me an extra 70 cents for that extra missing sausage patty). Today, the gentleman had assistance from someone else but he said to her oh that means extra sausage.... So. If you are coming here for coffee and a donut have no worries. Try to customize a sandwich, be certain to watch them like a hawk. read more

This is a terrific Dunkin location!! Mei Bao is just great - she listens to the orders and mine is always just what I ordered and wanted. All of the staff there are a credit to the organization. The place is new and clean and I can always get in and out in a hurry. Just Great!! read more

This place is so convenient for the DOT employees. My problem with this place is the Fat Chinese lady that works there Mei Bao she is so rude and disrespectful. Everyone waits for the next register when she is at a register just to avoid her. She is costing DD money because I'd rather pay $5 for coffee at Starbucks than deal with her.
