I'm starting to hate this location. They rarely get any thing right. Their drive thru is across from a noisy car wash. Today I asked for a large frozen hazelnut coffee with one extra shot of sugar and cream. I was told that it was premixed. What?? Add the sugar and cream to the cup before you add the mix. TL;DR REVIEW- Got my refund but this is an ever occurring issue that I'm just kind of fed up with after 5 years of hoping someone did something different. FULL REVIEW - I wish I were exaggerating that .literally. every time we've been to this particular Dunkin' Donuts store, we've yet to have a 100% accurate order the first time. And we've been coming to this one off and on since we moved here in 2016. I finally had enough and called for a refund (never bothered with it before), of which I did get for the donuts. I don't know what it is about this store, but you'd think they'd fix whatever the issues are in the last 5 years at least. This mistake, which probably resulted in someone getting my donuts instead of their own, could've easily been avoided with order stickers on the boxes. I really shouldn't have to drive out of my way when I'm craving a donut or six but I guess I'll start going to the Blackburn Rd one. They also would've given me the wrong order if I didn't repeat it entirely back to them again at the window, but that could be because it was pretty busy when I was visiting. I'll end this review with a positive and an extra star: My dirty chai was pretty decent and I guess they technically got one of my donuts right. P.S. They never have munchkins. I've gone a couple of times around noon and they are sold out of most of their stuff. I also went the other day and wanted a sandwich and they said they weren't doing food at that moment. When I got a matcha it was room temp (supposed to be hot) and all milk. This is only for the store remodel. It's horrible. Why would they change so much and 2/3 of their seating is gone. Makes no sense. Before, they had a beautiful wall cabinet of all their pastries. The 3 Stars are for speed of service, friendly cashier & clean lobby & that's where the good stuff stops. Pros: The cashier was kind & helpful & there was no line so it was quick in & out & everything looked clean in the dining room. I had never been to a Dunkin before this year & my first visit was on Valentine's Day & had been impressed with the selection & sadly this wasn't repeated today. Cons: donut selection was SLIM! At least half the case was empty (if not more since there were duplicate baskets of the same donuts) & there were only about 7 types of donuts to choose from. Also, once home I selected 2 donuts to enjoy; both seemed stale/overly dry. I'm a fan of cake donuts so I'm not overly excited by the "mushy yeast" versions, but these were far from mushy and were overly dry. Also, the"jelly filled" donut I tried was a joke. It had MAYBE a teaspoon of jam in the entire donut. It took me 3 bites to even find the jam & when I did it was the size of the top joint of my finger. The rest of the donut was dry/stale/jam-less. My husband enjoyed his Maple & said it was great & my daughter enjoyed the sprinkle donut, but she's a kid & not picky. This is my second Dunkin experience & maybe my last. Overpriced, stale donuts with poor selection isn't worth it. I'd rather drive down to Ooltewah and go back to Tasty Donut (which is expensive but you get what you pay for and is always tasty). read more

I have to give them an A+ for excellent service. They have a drive thru too. They just recently opened in December of 2014. It's in a brand new building. I chose the drive thru because I was in a hurry to get to work but had not quiet woke up completely. But there were no tears because I got caramel instead. I made sure to get a medium. If you go with a large, be prepared for enough sugar that would make an elephant a diabetic. I was already contemplating reviewing this place just based on how long it took me to get through the drive-thru. When I got to the window it became clear what was taking so long. The guy working the window seemed so confused I'm not sure if he even knew he worked there, he did ask me three times about my order which was even more shocking when I got to work and it was still wrong. We decided to make 3 stops in one week for common items and just to check things out. I grew up in the North , with a DD on just about every other corner. I have been drinking it religiously for 20 + years. I may be addicted to their coffee. I say so because I would walk 20 min each way in the snow and cold , for my daily cup of iced coffee. I visit DD typically ,anywhere from 1 to 3 times per day. Most the time the staff is awesome and on the ball. However, there are issues we encounter on almost a daily basis. My 1st complaint would be DT speaker is across from a noisy,loud, busy Car Wash , which makes it next to impossible for them to hear our order correctly. We usually order the same items each visit. I always order a lot of extra Caramel. A few times I have instead recieved Almond, Mocha and 1time I got a medium coffee, no flavor and 7 creams ; instead of the 3 cream and 7 caramel flavoring. At least 1 x per week after driving there after placing an on the go order we drive 15 min to pick it up and are told they're all out of Caramel. Each time , driving away with extreeme disappointment. On more than several and on seperate occasions I've had to turn my vehicle around to drive back because they didn't make it as ordered. I hate to do that. I hate complaining , I hate having to drive back to where I just came from, wait in line a 2nd time. And I hate to feel like, "I hope the cashiers don't think I'm just trying to be a pain in the butt." I feel if you order a large coffee with 10 sugars , even if it sounds rediculous to the the person making it, you should make it as customer instructed. After all, we are the one who is paying for this item. I like my coffee sweet. I can't taste, nor enjoy it, unless it's made as ordered. It's time consuming to drive 15 min across town to get your coffee -sugar fix, all to drive half way home before realizing the $6.00- $20.00 that you just spent while there will go down the drain (not be drank)knowing that if you don't drive the 8 minutes back to where you had just left from and go back in line to try it again ... The way I see it is to basically complain to them by telling them as kindly as possible that they didn't do their job correctly. I feel I have to apologize to the cashier for complaining and giving them another job. I do hate complaining about my coffee being made wrong, but I feel if I pay for x -many xtra caramels and the coffee they gave me tastes like close to no carame but yet I was charged the 10 cent per xtra pump, That gets extreemly frustrating! Especially if it happens a few times a week. Now, I must try my coffee b-4 leaving the parking lot ; incase it's not made right I don't typically have the time to waste , I just make time and try to make my visits quickly. I use drive thro due to usually faster service. I've went inside to order in the past and on a few occasions have been left there approximately 10 min waiting to where we had to remind them that they have forgotten our order . That's not cool. I have had some great situations happen there as well. I've gotten free drinks for not having an item I had ordered on the go . I have been helped by the manager when the on- the- go didn't work. One time I reloaded $ 20.00 on my card, but when I ordered , it wouldnt register. The manager ,I believe, took my order out and gave it to us anyhow , charging us at a later time since we are regular customers. That was amazing of him to do for us I thought. He certainly didn't have to. Mostly all cashiers d.t staff are helpful , kind and quick to make something wrong , right. There was a difference with mid afternoon staff and mid morning weekends staff where I feel they were somewhat slacking and lacking in items and in general. Usual weekdays on the morning shift is always nice and wonderful workers to deal with. If they're not jammed packed full with customers out both lines, it's a good place. Personally I like to deal with the drive thro workers best. They rock! read more

We were just about to start a long day of driving, and stopped for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Trevor was the employee who took our order. He was friendly, polite and patient. He started talking football with my husband when he saw my husband's hat. These days, it is so refreshing to experience excellent customer service with a personable, smiling individual!!!! The donut display was impressive and our breakfast sandwich and coffee were both hot and delicious. We left the store smiling. It makes such a difference to have a positive encounter with an employee like Trevor. We vote he gets a raise, based on his personality!!!! (We could have been served cold food and coffee and probably still would have enjoyed it, just because our encounter with Trevor was so positive!) read more
