Very unsatisfied with the service at this Dunkin'. Had to give our order which consisted of 3 sandwiches, 3 coffees, and 3 hashbrowns multiple times at the drive thru. When we got up to the window, we were told that our order wasn't right and had to wait another 5 minutes just to get our "right" order.. which consisted of different items we didn't even order. Every interaction we had with employees, they seemed to be confused with what was going on. We were refunded for our "right" order, but I was very disappointed with the entire experience. read more

Took forever in the drive-thru. Had to repeat our orders like 5 times each. Then got up to window and the manager in training charged us for another sandwich. When we told her the order on the screen was correct and we didn't want another sandwich she said we were wrong. We said we only wanted 3 sandwiches. On the slip we were charged for 4. This place is INSANE in the mornings during the summer. After getting past the traffic for Duck, we stopped here for a bite to go. The lines for everything, register, bathroom were long. There are people everywhere. The staff does their best to keep up but the food quality is lower here. I believe it must be due to the amount of customers. Once you get your food you will be lucky if you get out of the lot without running over anyone or being hit yourself. It is very small and shared with other businesses. "Lidia" gave hashbrowns and said have a good day, my fiancé said I haven't got the coffee. She rolls her eyes and says "she's working on it" rude... the lady came to window with coffee and said "I was working on your coffee" I asked for what "Lidias" name was. I go here everyday and it's not until lately they have been screwing up. I get one of two things and that's it. The past 3 days the coffee tasted like dirty water and I was charged over 3$ for a hot coffee. I over heard the manager of the location tell the employee today that it was fine when she asked if it was too much for the hot coffee. How are you going to tell an employee that it's ok to over charge somebody? It's not the first or second time it's the third time. If they don't get it together I'm going back to Starbucks, I rather pay more and know I'm getting what I order every time. read more

This Dunkin' Donuts location is awesome I've been using this store on and off for years to grab a mocha or to fulfil my son and his fathers obsession with donuts, we have always had exceptional service when purchasing our goods from any and all the staff from seasonal to year round I have always had a consistent quality experience! Each team member displays outstanding customer services skills, fast drive thru service and positive attitudes just from my regular visitis I've never had a bad experience here but today tops them all! Living on the OBX means we always have diverse living conditions and in this day in age it's sometimes rare to find quality people that care about their community especially considering our tourism industry the locals can be overlooked in a million ways however as the Hurricane Florence approaches the entire beach is shut down several days in advance for mandatory evacuation which leaves thousands of residents who are unable to travel to get away from the storm zone and the simple comforts such as a cup of coffee can make a huge difference and change your whole day for those that understand where I'm coming from and I drove out this morning the last chance I had before getting back to stay put at my house before weather was getting to bad and I couldn't find a single store open not even 711 and I had a headache from running myself ragged over preparing for the hurricane and just desperately wanted a simple cup of coffee I noticed a car at the Dunkin donuts and pulled up just praying they might have possibly opened for a few hours this morning and they were in fact closed down for the hurricane already however the owner at this location noticed me outside checked and she came outside to ask if she could help me with anything and I told her I just hoped for a cup of coffee and she was just at the store to finish closing and securing some things with the incoming weather and even still offered to make me coffee and came back outside with a nice large hot coffee even added my mocha flavor I hadn't even expected to get it that fancy i didn't care how it came even more so she refused to except any money for the coffee and just gave it to me free of charge and wished me well! I just wanted to give a shout out I didn't get the owners name but this was way over the top good quality care from a business owner to a fellow local and I can't explain just how much it meant to me, she made my day with such a simple kind gesture it truelly makes a world of a difference especially with a hurricane on its way my nerves were so bad so I just wanted to praise them for the cup of coffee I consider it a cup of love at the most perfect time when I needed it most so thank you to the KDH store owner of Dunkin donuts you rock and I am so grateful for your sweet gesture it made my day that you took the time to stop to check on me and hook me up you really made my day, during such a terrifying time the smallest gestures can mean the most! I can't thank you enough! I highly recommend anyone in the area support this amazing establishment! read more

Worst dunkin donuts i have ever been to. They are rude and very disorganized. I ordered a iced coffee (they didnt have liquid sugar, yay for a bottom full of sugar!) and a choc frosted donut. The donuts must have still been hot and no one cared to share or the sullen register girl with the gauged ears and tattoos didnt care but i went to eat my donut and i had no icing because it was all stuck to the top of the bag it was shoved in. These goobers couldnt find their butts in the dark with both hands. Out of 4 donuts, 2 of which were the same, not a single one was what we ordered. Even with a repeat back. Sadly because we were in the drive -thru we didnt discover it until at the beach. What they say about the drive-thru is definitely true at this place, even with only two cars in line. I live right around the corner from this Dunkin and I have for 3 years. It would be nice if maybe they got people there that understood what my order was or if they would train them before they let them work. Bitch didn't know how to open the damn register. Then I proceeded to get a bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. In the midst of eating this I noticed the egg was hot pink, and when I asked (girl obviously had no clue what to tell me) she said it was icing, and offered me another one. Why the hell would I want another one? Talked to the manager and he said there isn't icing in the whole building. So what the hell was on my egg. Then whenever I order the drink I ALWAYS get, this one bitch fucks it up every single time and guess why? SHE DOESN'T SPEAK THE LANGUAGE. None of the workers there do. Being from up north, it's such a pleasure coming to the beach and visiting a well known brand. The only difference from the Dunkin's up here and in the outer banks is the friendliness of the staff! My family and I visit the beach at least 5 times a year and every single time we get our usual orders, the staff have smiles all around. During the summer, expect a wait, but the managers always seem to be in control of the situation and somehow always manage to wish you a happy day. LOVELOVELOVE, whatever they're doing, keep it up! Last year we went there was Iced Coffee Pong that the customers could play while standing in line! How fun!! My kids loved it read more

to this DD! My coffee was so weak it tasted more like hot water with some creamer in it. They forgot the flavor shot and sweetener as well but it was entered and charged correctly. The iced tea actually tasted like coffee. I ordered sausage croissants for children and the croissants were soggy and inedible. They ate the sausage and pitched the croissants. Terrible! Made it clear cream no sugar in both coffees. Servers were too busy talking to each other to get the order right. Sure enough drive away tasted coffee and it was laden with sugar. We are both diabetic. Also, there were flies all over the doughnuts, gross! read more

I order donuts every Sunday for our breakfast social at work, always a friendly voice over the phone. When I ask for the donuts to be ready at 8:00 they are sitting there waiting on me. It can get hectic in there but then that means business is good. read more
