Damn. The donuts are ridiculously good. Came here this past weekend at 10 PM on the way back up from SD. There was a short line and it moved fast. I opted for 1/2 a dozen and was like a kid in the candy store! I selected a sample from a few different kinds of donuts ranging from Old Fashioned to Boston Creme pie. By far, these are the best tasting donuts I've had in awhile. Moist, light and not overly sweet. My fav was the "Homer Simpson" donut that had pink frosting and sprinkles. Delicious strawberry icing - mmmm....doooonuts. Looking forward to coming back here again! read more

Donuts were a little dry? A little... like they'd been sitting out? Other half loved the coffee though. Iced tea was on the strong side, like it had been overbrewed. Might give it another go? Something I thought that was interesting: they appear to do breakfast sandwiches like grilled cheese. I'm not sure how I feel about that but... I was craving a grilled cheese a few weeks ago so... I guess I can try one here? read more

I really wanted to like this place...i really did, because I've been to Dunkin Donuts in other states and hoped this would be good, as well. The donuts were dry. The blueberry didn't have the strong flavor of my go blueberry donut at Mag's in Irvine. The so-called croissant donut was actually less airy than a regular glazed donut and nowhere near the flaky crispiness that a croissant donut is supposed to be. The "iced" coffee was basically lukewarm and I had to ask for an extra cup of ice to cool it down. Apparently, they don't understand that the coffee in iced coffee actually needs to be cold. They had plenty of staff, perhaps too many, for 7:00 pm, and they were very helpful and friendly. I think Dunkin has potentially good products and that this location needs to get more experienced at preparing their products. read more

1 person working morning time register. 1 guy orders 4dozen. Had to sit there and wait for a single donut because no one could be bothered to walk up and help the rest of the line. He was individually picking them all. Horrible customer service. read more

Verdict: Donuts=2 stars / Coffees=5 stars 3 stars Donuts I appreciate that the donuts taste buttery, the glaze and icing are fresh and good-tasting. However, the donut cake part is just not fluffy enough for me. The times I've ordered donuts, they were more on the dry side. I got a cronut for the first time and absolutely regretted it. It had a horrible after taste, it wasn't croissant-tasting, and it's smaller than I'm used to. Do not get cronuts here. I think I still like Krispy Kreme and your local donut shop's donuts better. Coffees I LOVE their vanilla iced lattes! I've also had their cookie dough swirl latte, which is too sweet for me, though I think getting it iced would be much better. DD's coffees taste bolder than Starbucks and the iced coffees are healthier than the cream-drenched McDonald's iced coffees. read more

Back in April I received a drink that had a booger on the lid (right by the mouth piece by the way). What looked like a speck of cold foam from my peripheral vision turned out to be mucus... from another person's body.... I had already started driving at this point because it was a mobile order so I ended up calling them about the incident so I wouldn't be late for work. The assistant store manager was very passive about the entire thing but he at least refunded me. I don't know his name though because he didn't introduce himself. I contacted corporate and they strung me along for the last month. Now they've ghosted me and ignored my last few email attempts. I'm so grossed out by this entire experience and I haven't been back ever since. I was pretty much a daily customer up until this point. I wasn't going to right this review at first but I've been as nice as I can be for someone who was served a booger cold brew. Absolutely disgusting. In the picture attached you'll see 'said booger' that entered my mouth. Why is it on my car seat? Because after spitting it out in my hand and freaking out for 5 minutes looking for napkins while also entering the 5 freeway, I was at a loss and my passenger seat had to take one for the team. read more

Not sure why this location is so different but it's easily the worst I've been too in Southern California. 3rd time here and the only thing that's right is the coffee. The bagels taste funny and unlike every other DD they put almost no cream cheese on the bagel and it always taste funny here. The DD in San Clemente is slow but wayyyy better. read more

It's not the best place to get donuts. There are other options. At first this place stayed open even later so I used to come here as it was the only option I had. Now it closes at the same time as Krispy Kreme's so I prefer going there. They have a better coffee menu than most donut shops though. Service wasn't that great they seemed to just want to get me out. It's priced fair. read more

I don't think the quality is as good as other Dunkin's I have been to in other parts of the country. The donuts were pretty good quality, but I was pretty disappointed in my breakfast sandwich. It tasted stale and had unmelted cheese and cold egg. Not good. The coffee is usually good, but last time I was here it didn't taste very fresh at all. Haven't actually been inside, but it looks nice from the outside. Drive thru moves quickly, even when the line is super long. read more

As a native of the northeast, I grew up on Dunkin and have been to my fair share of locations all over the country. Probably more than most due to a career where I travel extensively. Dunkin is a staple for me so I was SUPER excited when news of one nearby opening. From day one I have been impressed by this locations efforts to get every thing right (by right I mean exactly how things are back east). I remember voicing my "concern" at the slight difference in the way they made their coolattas but the customer service on their social media (yes I voiced it through their social media) was amazing, they addressed my concerns and management remedied the issues quickly. I am not typically a difficult customer but as a lover of DD I didn't want someone new to the brand, experiencing it for the first time and having an incorrect impression of the products. Since that time I have visited from time to time and absolutely love this location! The customer service is great, the donuts are always fresh and delicious and the coolattas are PERFECT! I even love their themed dozens, such as for Halloween, 4th of July, etc. oh and you can call ahead to have your specialty dozen ready for pick-up. On this most recent visit last night, nothing new to report, still great! Customer service was great, speed of service was great, donuts were great and although close to 9PM tasted fresh! Oh, and the coolattas... Perfect! Have to thank the young man who prepared them, we ordered a small and were surprised with what I think was a large instead. As for the negative reviews on the donuts, if you're an east coaster or transplant, we never come here for the donuts. If you come to Dunkies, you come for the coffee. Donuts have always been ok, but were much better when they actually made them in the stores, circa 1988. Their regular coffee is great, iced or hot is pretty much the same, but I always prefer the hot. Donuts are good, not great. I'm old school DD and usually go for the chocolate glazed, French crueller, or the blueberry cake. Comparatively speaking, these are better than many of the Korean or Chinese donuts that are made here in SoCal. If you want a donut, I suggest Petersons in Escondido. I've never had anything close to as good as them. Thanks DD for bringing good coffee to SoCal, not the garbage Starbucks at 5 dollars a burnt coffee. read more

I always get great service here and the fresh variety of donuts as well as breakfast foods and specialty foods is terrific. I also love how they have a combination of coffees they are now offering the dark roast as well as the original. And you can get any fancy coffee you want for less than half the price at Starbucks or other coffee shops. OK so I'm originally from Boston and I can appreciate Dunkin' Donuts but it's still the best cup of coffee around. read more

Been there 2x now and I enjoy it a lot. Been waiting for a long time for them to come here. Wish there were other locations besides this one. It is a bit far from the house and out of the way on way to work. Unless I'm out in the area or need to hit the freeway by that location, I will go and order. Both times the staff are nice and friendly. Not sure how busy inside gets since the last few times there's only been a few patrons inside. The drive-thru I've seen busy in the AM. Be sure to sign up for the perks program. If you are going to get coffee/lunch/donuts whatever, it pays to be part of the program and receive perks for your purchases. My first order was a black dark roast iced coffee and a donut. I enjoyed em both. My only concern w/ the ice coffee is that they put too much ice and its not much coffee. I try to remember to say "light" on the ice. Keep that in mind if you order and iced drink 2nd time I ordered a black dark roast hot coffee and a choc donut. Again, both were good and the coffee in the cup kept it nice and hot/warm till I got to work where I continued to enjoy it. read more

This was probably the worst Dunkin' Donuts I've ever been to, and I have been to many in my life. The service was ridiculously slow, we waited for 5 minutes (with only one customer in front of us) before we got our order taken. We then waited another 10 minutes (at least) to get our food - I almost fell asleep waiting. I would've been more patient if there was a long line, but there was literally one customer ahead of us!! After I walked out with my order, I realized they forgot to put my sandwich in there and I had to go back in and ask for it. This was the worst service I have ever witnessed in a fast food place. Oh, and they also burnt my sandwich!!! Never seen this before at DD either. I am never coming back to this location again. read more

It's too bad they don't do more to raise their ratings. Like maybe hire more confident, competent workers. I gave them two stars for the cute heart raspberry apple jelly filled donut and another because of the flavors of said donut and the coffee. I was given an iced macchiato when I ordered a regular one. They were not busy at all at 7am! Went through the drive through and the employee had me waiting at the window to pay for about three minutes before he attended to me. read more

The Service you get here from here is TERRIBLE the elder cardine I want to say she's the manager. I have come in here twice in the past week and a half and the first time I came she argued with me about the foam that was on my drink. She finally took my drink back to remake it, then she gave it back to me with a hair on it stuck to the sticker on the mouth of my cup so I asked to get one made without a hair she looked at me rolled her eyes then just handed the hair drink to another employee and told her to fix it. I had been in store waiting for a drink I had placed in the app for over 20 minutes. 1 drink that was preordered. Here I am again today deciding to give them another chance... If Cardine is there DO NOT GO. Cardine got behind the microphone and can't even take my order before another girl gets on and asks me what I'd like. I was stuck in the drive through for 15 minutes. Finally get to the front window to get my coffee and she's their handing it to me. Safe to say I won't be back due to THE WOMEN Who can't take orders or make a drink and is twice the age I am. read more

Glad they came back to CA, we needed more donuts here! The new store is nice and modern, kind of small, they count on us to get most stuff to go I guess. The donuts are good, the Boston cream is my favorite! Coffee is good, meaning is not the "Bunn" taste you get at Mom and Pop donut shops, but it's not over the top. My problem was with the Grilled Cheese sandwich (#13 on the menu) and the hash browns. Salty and had that "out of a freezer and warmed up" taste and dryness, but I probably had my expectations too high based on long time memories. The service is great and the location is on the way to/from freeway so I guess I'll stop by again. read more

I love dunkin donuts and have been waiting for the longest time for them to come to orange county. I went a few days after they opened and bought 6 donuts and a chicken salad sandwich, however it wasn't chicken salad and was a fried chicken breast! I will not hold this against a new establishment because mistakes do happen! Even though it was not what I ordered, it was actually quite delicious. The donuts are as good as I remember. I am extremely sad though that they do not have tuna salad on the menu! :( This is what i came for! Please bring dunkin donuts tuna salad to this location!!!! This place is new, so if you're going during meal times, expect a line. Luckily, they do a really good job of moving it along. And it's worth the wait since the doughnuts are delicious! Here's my only complaint: a doughnut costs more than $1 a piece! Is it really worth waiting for when anywhere else you're looking at about 20% less than that? Ehh...I dunno. I go here ocassionaly when I want something a bit different from Starbucks. There are plenty of food and donut options and a pretty good selection for drinks as well. I'd say the hot food items ate mediocre while the doughnuts are pretty good. Recently I asked if they did refills on Iced Tea and nobody seemed to know until a manager said all I need to do is bring my cup which made it sound like they do free refills. Well it's not free, the refills on a large Iced Tea is two bucks! Starbucks is free if you are a gold member and 50 cents if you are not. Coffee Bean with a much more superior Iced Tea is only $1.00. Pretty stingy on Dunkin Donuts part. I'll continue to get a doughnut here once in awhile but I'll stick to Starbucks and Coffee Bean for my iced drinks. read more

I'm not sure whether the background music was too loud, the employee was having a difficult day, or there was simply a communication breakdown. Regardless of the reason, the overall customer service felt rushed and unwelcoming. In fact, there were not many customers in the shop at noon. I hope management provides additional training and support to help create a more positive customer experience.

Went today at 5:30, I believe this is day 3 of them open. They have a few hiccups, but hopefully with time will get better. So when I walked in this morning, this very nice lady (Brenda) says she's buying me whatever I want, in honor of her gran baby (Holland) who was beautiful from the picture I saw, getting out of the NICU. So sweet right, so you would assume they would just tack tack my order onto her order, wrong they rang it up separately so she had to pay twice once at each register, kinda dumb in my opinion. But Brenda was just so happy she didn't seem to care. BTW Brenda I wish I would have asked you what perfume you were wearing it smells amazing. Thank you so much..... today I am paying your kindness forward Brenda in honor of your little guy. That being said, after I left on my way home, I had a bite of the powdered Bavarian and almost died and went to heaven. So I immediately turned around and went back ( I have a brunch to go to later, so I thought shot I will just bring a dozen they will love them). So this time I went through the drive through and asked for two powdered Bavarian and the rest assorted. So after waiting entirely to long for them to grab a relatively easy order, I went home. When I got home although I had two chocolate Bavarian, I had no powdered Bavarian, the only ones I had asked for. My rating is not based on the quality of the food or coffee at all. This store just opened and its very clear the people working there need more training. We went through the drive thru and the girl who took the order was rude and impatient. We ordered a hot vanilla latte with 2 sugars and 3 donuts (2 glazed and a Boston kreme). We get to the window to pay and they are making an iced latte... I had to correct them. They give us a bag with donuts and there were sugar donuts instead of glazed. We looked into the store from the car and there were like 15 people behind the counter, all bumping into each other and confused. I'm sure things will be streamlined in a few weeks but for now I am just one person from Boston who is very excited to see a Dunkin Donuts in Orange County hoping that it sticks this time. read more

Oh, come on, people!! It was opening day. What do you expect? Gazillions of rude, mean, demanding people (yes, you were in line next to me complaining, driving me crazy!) all jones-ing for coffee & donuts. I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I ordered a grilled cheese to be added to my existing order, but they completely missed it. I ended up waiting 25 minutes, which was frustrating and unacceptable. The staff seemed disorganized, and there was no proper communication about the delay. Double check your order before you drive off... They consistently get the orders wrong. Poorly trained cashiers will take your order via drive through and in person and get it wrong 75% of the time. Don't get me wrong, most of the workers are friendly, but it's unacceptable that they don't have a better system implemented to deliver the correct donuts ordered. Donuts are fresh and the menu will fit most everyone's needs. read more
