I love Dunkin but this particular location is frustrating I go to dunkin multiple times a week and normally visit the el toro rd location which we loveeeee but moved so have been trying this one. They rarely ever stir the chocolate in my mocha latte i get a cup with chocolate sitting thickness in the bottom. Back in April I received a drink that had a booger on the lid (right by the mouth piece by the way). What looked like a speck of cold foam from my peripheral vision turned out to be mucus... from another person's body.... I had already started driving at this point because it was a mobile order so I ended up calling them about the incident so I wouldn't be late for work. The assistant store manager was very passive about the entire thing but he at least refunded me. I don't know his name though because he didn't introduce himself. I contacted corporate and they strung me along for the last month. Now they've ghosted me and ignored my last few email attempts. I'm so grossed out by this entire experience and I haven't been back ever since. I was pretty much a daily customer up until this point. I wasn't going to right this review at first but I've been as nice as I can be for someone who was served a booger cold brew. Absolutely disgusting. In the picture attached you'll see 'said booger' that entered my mouth. Why is it on my car seat? Awesome. Went on the 2nd day after opening, and were greeted by the owner in the parking lot who was helping people park/go to the drive thru. Told us to park, then head over to one of two "holding areas" for people. Everyone was super nice, and as a NJ transplant, this place was 100x better than any of the DD on the East Coast. The man said the donuts were on point, and my medium iced coffee with extra cream/extra sugar, with french vanilla swirl was PERFECTION. Give it a few weeks for the crowds to die down a bit if you're not into waiting 20 minutes for your coffee/breakfast goodies. Otherwise, go forth into Dunkin Donuts awesomeness. read more

Damn. The donuts are ridiculously good. Came here this past weekend at 10 PM on the way back up from SD. There was a short line and it moved fast. I opted for 1/2 a dozen and was like a kid in the candy store! I selected a sample from a few different kinds of donuts ranging from Old Fashioned to Boston Creme pie. By far, these are the best tasting donuts I've had in awhile. Moist, light and not overly sweet. My fav was the "Homer Simpson" donut that had pink frosting and sprinkles. Not sure why this location is so different but it's easily the worst I've been too in Southern California. 3rd time here and the only thing that's right is the coffee. The bagels taste funny and unlike every other DD they put almost no cream cheese on the bagel and it always taste funny here. The DD in San Clemente is slow but wayyyy better. read more

It's not the best place to get donuts. There are other options. At first this place stayed open even later so I used to come here as it was the only option I had. Now it closes at the same time as Krispy Kreme's so I prefer going there. They have a better coffee menu than most donut shops though. I really wanted to like this place...i really did, because I've been to Dunkin Donuts in other states and hoped this would be good, as well. The donuts were dry. The blueberry didn't have the strong flavor of my go blueberry donut at Mag's in Irvine. The so-called croissant donut was actually less airy than a regular glazed donut and nowhere near the flaky crispiness that a croissant donut is supposed to be. The "iced" coffee was basically lukewarm and I had to ask for an extra cup of ice to cool it down. Apparently, they don't understand that the coffee in iced coffee actually needs to be cold. They had plenty of staff, perhaps too many, for 7:00 pm, and they were very helpful and friendly. I think Dunkin has potentially good products and that this location needs to get more experienced at preparing their products. read more

However, the donut cake part is just not fluffy enough for me. The times I've ordered donuts, they were more on the dry side. I got a cronut for the first time and absolutely regretted it. It had a horrible after taste, it wasn't croissant-tasting, and it's smaller than I'm used to. Do not get cronuts here. I think I still like Krispy Kreme and your local donut shop's donuts better. Coffees I LOVE their vanilla iced lattes! I've also had their cookie dough swirl latte, which is too sweet for me, though I think getting it iced would be much better. DD's coffees taste bolder than Starbucks and the iced coffees are healthier than the cream-drenched McDonald's iced coffees. read more

I also love how they have a combination of coffees they are now offering the dark roast as well as the original. And you can get any fancy coffee you want for less than half the price at Starbucks or other coffee shops. Glad they came back to CA, we needed more donuts here! The new store is nice and modern, kind of small, they count on us to get most stuff to go I guess. The donuts are good, the Boston cream is my favorite! Coffee is good, meaning is not the "Bunn" taste you get at Mom and Pop donut shops, but it's not over the top. My problem was with the Grilled Cheese sandwich (#13 on the menu) and the hash browns. Salty and had that "out of a freezer and warmed up" taste and dryness, but I probably had my expectations too high based on long time memories. I have come in here twice in the past week and a half and the first time I came she argued with me about the foam that was on my drink. As a native of the northeast, I grew up on Dunkin and have been to my fair share of locations all over the country. Probably more than most due to a career where I travel extensively. Dunkin is a staple for me so I was SUPER excited when news of one nearby opening. From day one I have been impressed by this locations efforts to get every thing right (by right I mean exactly how things are back east). I remember voicing my "concern" at the slight difference in the way they made their coolattas but the customer service on their social media (yes I voiced it through their social media) was amazing, they addressed my concerns and management remedied the issues quickly. I am not typically a difficult customer but as a lover of DD I didn't want someone new to the brand, experiencing it for the first time and having an incorrect impression of the products. Since that time I have visited from time to time and absolutely love this location! The customer service is great, the donuts are always fresh and delicious and the coolattas are PERFECT! I even love their themed dozens, such as for Halloween, 4th of July, etc. oh and you can call ahead to have your specialty dozen ready for pick-up. On this most recent visit last night, nothing new to report, still great! Customer service was great, speed of service was great, donuts were great and although close to 9PM tasted fresh! Oh, and the coolattas... Perfect! Have to thank the young man who prepared them, we ordered a small and were surprised with what I think was a large instead. As for the negative reviews on the donuts, if you're an east coaster or transplant, we never come here for the donuts. If you come to Dunkies, you come for the coffee. Donuts have always been ok, but were much better when they actually made them in the stores, circa 1988. Their regular coffee is great, iced or hot is pretty much the same, but I always prefer the hot. Donuts are good, not great. I'm old school DD and usually go for the chocolate glazed, French crueller, or the blueberry cake. Comparatively speaking, these are better than many of the Korean or Chinese donuts that are made here in SoCal. If you want a donut, I suggest Petersons in Escondido. I've never had anything close to as good as them. Thanks DD for bringing good coffee to SoCal, not the garbage Starbucks at 5 dollars a burnt coffee. read more

The service was ridiculously slow, we waited for 5 minutes (with only one customer in front of us) before we got our order taken. Be sure to sign up for the perks program. If you are going to get coffee/lunch/donuts whatever, it pays to be part of the program and receive perks for your purchases. My first order was a black dark roast iced coffee and a donut. I enjoyed em both. My only concern w/ the ice coffee is that they put too much ice and its not much coffee. I try to remember to say "light" on the ice. Keep that in mind if you order and iced drink 2nd time I ordered a black dark roast hot coffee and a choc donut. I go here ocassionaly when I want something a bit different from Starbucks. There are plenty of food and donut options and a pretty good selection for drinks as well. I'd say the hot food items ate mediocre while the doughnuts are pretty good. Recently I asked if they did refills on Iced Tea and nobody seemed to know until a manager said all I need to do is bring my cup which made it sound like they do free refills. Well it's not free, the refills on a large Iced Tea is two bucks! Starbucks is free if you are a gold member and 50 cents if you are not. Coffee Bean with a much more superior Iced Tea is only $1.00. Pretty stingy on Dunkin Donuts part. I'll continue to get a doughnut here once in awhile but I'll stick to Starbucks and Coffee Bean for my iced drinks. read more

I remember when this place first opened over 2 years ago. There were lines of people applying and I think it was over a thousand applicants. What in the world happened? My wife and I went to the drive-thru cuz we were trying to order fast. After 5 minutes at the drive-thru window we backed out of the drive-thru and went inside because everything we said was not what he was repeating back to us. Our encounter inside was no better. We continue trying to order and nothing seem to make any sense. The way the sales show up on the board with special pricing and then disappear and are not represented on the board when they're not showing. Very unhelpful. We finally got an order complete and got our food and were quick to get out of there because we had already spent way too much time. We got home and found out we were missing an item. I took the opportunity to go back to the store and explain a very simple math process to the kids working behind the counter. The receipt taped to the outside of the bag had six items listed. I explained very carefully and repeatedly that the most basic level of their job was to put six things in a bag. Even if they were the wrong things the most basic level of their job would be to put six things in the bag. I have no idea what that large receipt on the outside of the bag was for because we had five things in our bag. I then took it upon myself to do the manager's job which the manager at this location is definitely not doing. And explain to them that their job was at the most basic level to count the number of items and have the proper number of items in the bag. Even if it was the wrong food somebody has something to eat. If you rip off an item from the bag and don't put it in there somebody will have nothing to eat. That makes people angry. What's makes people angry a little bit less, is when the wrong food is in the bag. I'm hoping that the level of competence will be raised by one little little little little bit. My math lesson lasted about 10 minutes and was very clear. The two little boys behind the counter had their tails between their legs and they look like they might put the right number of things in a bag throughout the shift. I just don't have any guarantee that they'll do it tomorrow. I will not be back at this location or any Dunkin Donuts ever again. Horrible tasting food, horrible service, major letdown, and there's so many options within 3 minutes of this location that it's a crime. read more
