Walked in looking forward to a Paulie...nobody out front...two shady dudes waiting to order or for…read moretheir order...and then, two VERY loud (obviously unblocked) sneezes from the back. Yes, it's allergy season, but I won't chance it. Sceeved me out.

Stopped into Wolf's Superior Sandwiches while on a road trip and I really wanted to love this place…read morebecause the menu is creative and the vibe is promising. Unfortunately, the experience was kind of a mixed bag. I stopped in on Mother's Day and they were really overwhelmed. I'm keeping that in mind for this review. While still giving my experience and feedback. I had ordered ahead but still ended up waiting 40 minutes past my pickup time. That would have been more understandable if the food came out hot and fresh, but the fries had clearly been made earlier and left to the side, so they were cold by the time I got them. You know those sad limp fries that should've been amazing? Yeah, those. There were three young ladies behind the counter, each seemingly working their own station but at completely different paces. It caused a bit of a bottleneck where food was just sitting while one person tried to catch up. The phone was ringing nonstop and there wasn't a clear sense of urgency. One staff member kept stopping to text mid sandwich, which, hey, we all have lives, but it really disrupted the flow and made everything slower. If something was going on, communication with the team would've gone a long way. As for the food: My steak sandwich had zero seasoning. I mean none. The only flavor came from the peppers on it. Two hours later, after reheating it in the air fryer and adding salt and pepper, it was decent. My husband had a cold sandwich and enjoyed his more, so I'm guessing results may vary depending on what you order. I didn't rate the service too harshly because it was clear the staff was overwhelmed, not rude. They barely had time to offer a smile, let alone conversation. Still, I gave this spot 4 stars because I see the potential. The menu looks genuinely interesting, the space is nice, and I imagine on a slower day with tighter processes they probably put out some fantastic sandwiches. I'd definitely be willing to give them another try, but next time I'll show up with extra patience and maybe a backup snack just in case.

Different cheesesteak #1048 in the last five years. Interesting stop. I explain in full video…read more I got the chocolate chip cookies, 4 for $2, you know I love that. The cookie dough dipped in chocolate and chocolate cherries looked amazing. They were making chicken cutlets. I was extremely close to getting a chicken cutlet sandwich. They use their oven roasted beef for the cheesesteak. I was surprised how different the texture was from a steak. $8 cheesesteak. When I have been a good boy and deserve a treat I will be going back.

Decent deal for a value-priced hoagie! Not the most artful sandwiches ever, but decent for $5.50 on…read morean 8" roll. We tried John's the other day for sandwiches. They don't have a menu (except for party trays) so you make up what you want and voila. The staff was very friendly and professional, especially for their young age. The young man who made our food said, "I hope you like it," when he handed them off to us, which was very thoughtful. It shows pride in good work, which is really appreciated. Meats were decent and fresh, rolls fresh too. I was told I'd get a 12" roll for $5.50, which would have been an amazing deal, and I was all ready to rave about the deal on Yelp, but what I got was only an 8" roll, which, in light of my anticipation, was kind of disappointing, but for $5.50 it was still a good deal for the quality of deli meats. The store was clean and tidy. There was a dining area if you wants to eat in, and typical selection of tastykakes, chips, drinks, etc. that come with the deli atmosphere. Typical old school corner store.
