We had to keep repeating ourselves because there was too much noise in the background. We asked if they had white frosting with sprinkles and she just assumed we had said strawberry or the pink one so she added that to our dozen. When we arrived to the window the person there just seemed like she didn't care. She seemed kind of inpatient. As we drove off I opened the box of donuts and it serialist looked like my son had made them. To start off they weren't even round! Second the glazed ones were kind of hard. This location gets my typical order right: black, hot americano, breakfast croissant sandwich and hash browns. The servings for the hash brown could be larger or they could provide more pieces. Service can take a long time both as a walk-in customer and drive through. I found it best to order in advance through their app, park on the street and pick up my order inside the store. This location is open 24/7 definitely find that amazing and they only sell regular donuts no twists or crazy shape donuts. I was a bit disappointed they didn't have any glaze donuts and confused my order with glaze chocolate donut instead of regular chocolate donut then the staff at drive thru didn't communicate there wasn't regular glaze of regular chocolate donuts available. To top it off the employee walks away from the window with no communication and takes my credit card with them then takes a while to come back to window with an update. Made my way down on a Tuesday evening looking forward to some Double D goodness. Ordered a random dozen via the drive thru. As I was exiting the drive thru, my girl decided late that she wanted another half dozen for her family as well. So I swung around in the parking lot and parked so she could run in and make her selections in person. There were only a few donuts left so she made due with what they had just to complete her half dozen box. Think about it. How pitiful must your selection and stock on hand must be to barely fill a half dozen donut order! That's just sad. What is even sadder is when we returned home with our 18 donuts most of them were stale. Boo! The star here are for the nice staff at the drive through and in the store. ZERO stars for the stale donuts that shouldn't be allowed to be sold and the lack of available stock on a weekday during rush hour. Even the cute heart-shaped filled donuts were disappointing. The Bavarian Creme filled hearts were not palatable. Thankfully, my raspberry-filled heart was decent. I have visited Dunkin' Donuts locations all over the country, from New York City to Atlanta and this is easily the saddest excuse for a Double D that I have had the displeasure of patronizing. I am here for Butternut donut. Apparently it is a seasonal donut. I still prefer the other donut joint for ordinary flavors such as glaze or cinammon dusted donut. 3 stars for the flavors others dont have. Minus 2 star as its not freshly baked and no menu of donuts on drive thru. For the donuts, when you take them home, you have to reheat it cause bread is quite on the hard side. I am glad Mira Mesa opened their DD branch. I hope it is better than this place. read more

4/22 at 4:15 pm. My first time at Dunkin and were very excited to try their donuts and coffee. Greeted (didn't really greet us) by a rude young man. He told us what was included in the dozen. I asked for a Long John and he said "I JUST TOLD YOU THAT WASN'T INCLUDED" to which I reply with "I know but can't I just pay for them". I immediately didn't want any Dunkin' Donuts and left. When I consistently come here and I get the wrong donuts consistently something has gotta give. I always ask for a CHOCOLATE CAKE donut. Half the time they end up giving me a chocolate glaze. Today its the same problem. I literally spelled the word cake for the gal on the other end of the drive thru. Her first reply was chocolate cream? Smh. I also asked for a chocolate bavarian cream filled donut. How the heck did I end up with a powdered donut? Forget this place. I ordered a dozen donuts, two breakfast croissant sandwiches and a medium iced vanilla latte. The donuts were fine but the croissant sandwiches were not good at all. The sausage patties have a weird taste and the "toasted" croissants were soggy instead of flaky like it had been heated up in the microwave. The latte was sugary and watery. On top of that, the app did not work when it came to scanning for reward points (not like I really go here). I felt like I should have saved my $40 wasted on total disappointment. read more

When I got there they told me that a new batch of was getting ready to come out. Looking at what they had left that seemed like the better opinion. I struck up a conversation with someone who was also waiting. That was a plus for as that's what I think would happen if your in a coffee/ donut shop. The drink side of DD is far more advanced then I thought it would be. I was surprised at their level of sophistication, It seems like they want to be a drink place that now sells donuts. The tea That the sale is high-quality the only downside is they brew them In those paper cups. If it was brewed in glass they would rival a boutique shop. Their Looseleaf tea is have a good variety and a good batch I would definitely come here if I wanted a fresh brewed cup of tea. I did sample of the donut and realized they use some real cinnamon, But this is not a product that I think is great or good. I give this place FIVE stars for service. Every time I come here, the young employees here are courteous and helpful in a a way that is so chill. I truly like the cappuccino and macchiato drinks here better than Starbucks. Hot or cold, the taste is way better than Starbucks. And less expensive! While I cannot eat the donuts because they are not gluten free, I do enjoy getting the Beyond Breakfast sandwiches without the bread and cheese. I grew up with Dunkin' Donuts (in the Philippines) and was excited to have one near me! I haven't had a chance to physically walk-in, but their drive-thru is one of the worst. Though customer service is great, the quality of food is horrendous. This morning, we ordered their egg & cheese sandwich; turkey & egg sandwich; hash browns; a strawberry coolata; and an extra large dark roast coffee (black, hot). The girl that took our order asked what kind of bread we would like our sandwiches in -- english muffin for both the sandwiches. My (egg & cheese) sandwich was straight up sad and disappointing. They put it on a CROISSANT instead and it looked like someone slapped it together with their eyes closed -_- The turkey and egg sandwich was not tasty at all. We ended up throwing it away. The coolata tasted like watered-down kool-aid. Basically, the only good thing here are their donuts and coffee -- at least, as far as my limited experience with them. They are located near the 805 freeway so they can get rather busy in the mornings. The parking lot can also be messy, lol. So there you have it: stay with their donuts and coffee! read more

Co worker and I were in the area so we were excited to finally try the infamous Dunkin' Donuts. We kept asking 'what makes this place so famous'. Well, that's exactly what we kept asking after we tried two donuts here. There was no line when we visited weekday around 1p. Service was friendly but a bit off. We weren't sure about their coffees and asked to sample a few flavors, if possible, as we assumed the flavored coffees were pre made. She gave us samples of the pumpkin as well as the hazelnut syrups. Nice gesture though. We were ready to order but few staff members had to use the cash register to check in/out or something. It was a weird distraction and caused a delay in our ordering. Plus, they blocked our view of the donuts so it was hard to figure out what donuts we wanted. We ended up getting: Chocolate creme filled donut: - $1.19 for this was crazy. It was a tiny donut. The donut dough tasted like bread. Plain unsweetened bread. The chocolate filling was decent. Glazed donut: - again, $1.19 seemed so high. We saw them place a fresh batch of the glazed donuts into the bin so we decided to order this as co worker wanted to compare this donut to Krispy Kreme. The donut tasted bland and ordinary. There wasn't a glaze sweetness that we wanted. Cold brew coffee (medium): - I cannot this cost a whopping $3.19. For a medium size that was filled with tons of ice. BUT, this was a dang good cold brew coffee. Better than Starbucks. Just surprised they can charge so much. Now I will probably by the DD coffee beans I always see at Costco. Both of us agreed that we didn't understand the hype of this donut chain. Why is it that I get the worst customer service with the staff here. I think they think it's a Highschool lunch hour. I went through right before 1pm to take a doz doughnuts with me to a meeting. I paid 36 with the coffees and then the doughnuts were dry and stale then to be greeted with horrible customer service. I dropped in here one morning to get 50 of my favorite munchkins for work. 10 each of pumpkin spice, old fashion glazed, chocolate glazed, cinnamon sugar, and blueberry glazed made me one happy camper for the day. Now I know donuts are not part of a healthy 2000 calorie diet but when it comes to Dunkin Donuts all rules are cast off - DDs have not always been around and if you've lived on the east coast you know they are a way of life! Worst drive thru experience of my life. 30 minutes wait in line that you can't get out of once you get in. The line took so long due to the complete incompetence of the staff working there. Upon arriving at the order sign, it seemed the person taking orders has never heard of the Dunkin Donuts menu before. Placing an order an order was an excruciating experience of them putting the wrong item in the system and us having to correct them that was not what we ordered. Upon arriving at the window, they tried to give us the wrong order. On correcting them, we got half of our correct order. Given the incompetence to date, we decided to check the order while still at the window. Good thing we did - as only half our items where in the order. Upon driving away, we discovers no straws or napkins in the bag and the donuts were stale. TLDR: Long wait times driven by incompetent staff. Went to drive-thru service twice and it was pretty fast! Ordered flatbreads -eggs and cheese and munchkins- The cashier lady on the drive-thru window was nice and friendly. Ordered latte for me and cappuccino for hubby- it taste okay not too shabby! Also, Hubby came home one day and brought a dozen "to go" donuts and yikes it was too sweet !!! I'm not really a big fan. Came here on a Thursday night, around 9ish... it was still pretty busy... I agree, the parking/drive thru situation is tight. If the drive thru line fills up, everyone parked is stuck. Luckily, we got a spot in front of the entrance, so it wasn't a problem... The guy at the counter was friendly and nice. He was patient with us even though we took a long time to order and there was a line building up. He also greeted people as they walking in. And He even gave my kid a sample munchkin... The donuts themselves were just okay. I had the Boston creme and tasted a bite of the double chocolate. They're not overly sweet. But they were a little more dry than what I would prefer. Seriously, just okay. We also ordered blueberry munchkins (donut holes). If you like blueberry pancakes or muffins, it's essentially the same blueberry flavor. These had a bit more moisture to them.
