I know I'm gonna get some haters but Dunkin' is better than Starbucks. Yeah I said it! What's up?! From standard coffee to specialty coffee dunkin kills it! Not only does their coffee dominate the taste buds but it does so sooner than the competitor. Pumpkin spice in August? Yes please! And what about snacks? Boom! Bag of bacon! What else do you need in life? Nothing, the answer is nothing! Go to Dunkin'

DD and BR in the same building? You betcha! The only reason for four stars is that the selection/choices are limited (due to building's small size). Still, the greatest hits, from both brands, are present. At the Mt. P BR, when I requested a hot fudge shake, I was immediately denied. Here, on Dorchester road, the young man said "Yeah, I can do that!" And believe it, I enjoyed every, single, one of those 1600 calories! Thanks, BR, for being flexible.

What a great experience I had with my Granddaughter Sophia. We had awesome donuts and ice cream cones. Awesome counter staff. Excellent service! No one was inside so that was awesome. Will be back for more sugar fun!

This Dunkin' location on Dorchester Road in North Charleston is a convenient and well managed Dunkin' when you are in the area and need to make that donut and coffee stop. I really like being able to get in and out quickly with exactly what you need. The staff here is very helpful

I just am showing the line without anyones tags because that is respectful.

Cute place that has a good amount of seating in the back. We got:…read more Grasshopper toast/avocado toast- This was probably our favorite thing and would definitely recommend. It was unique with the different flavors and textures on top that came together really nicely. Almond frangipane scone- I'm not the biggest fan of dried fruit in baked goods, but otherwise thought this was tasty and would want to get a scone/biscuit without dried fruit next time. Would recommend. Cinnamon twist- Tasty! Not mind blowing, but we enjoyed and would get again. Best friend/chocolate chip cookie- Loved that it was crispy on the outside and chewy in the center part and that it used a darker chocolate. Jam sesh- This was not our favorite and we wouldn't get it again. We just didn't think all the flavors worked together. Short + Sweet- The coffee cake was maybe a little overbaked. My friend liked it more than I did, but I didn't feel like I needed to have it again. Overall it's a good place to go with a few people and try a bunch of things and hang out!

It's been quite a while since I made the effort to return to The Harbinger Café on Upper King and…read moreit reminded me instantly why this spot is such a Charleston favorite. The vibe is still effortlessly cozy and creative--flowers, greenery, unusual Christmas gifts, and those little bakery touches that make you want to linger over your latte. This time around, everything felt even better than I remembered. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service had that relaxed but attentive feel. I tried a couple of their seasonal items, and once again the flavors were bright, fresh, and a little unexpected in the best way. Their baked goods are still the standout--beautifully made, not overly sweet & just delicious. It's the kind of place where you can sit with a book, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a slow morning with coffee and something delicious. Consistently great atmosphere, consistently great food, and a place that really gets better with every visit. Why did it take so long to return. I've now placed it in the top of my list for a great coffee spot.

And I'm happy to report that it exceeded my expectations! The slice of pie was HUGE (very tall) and it had some kind of a sauce/cheese combo on top of the tomatoes that was fantastic. Combined with the pie crust, it reminded me of a slice of Chicago deep dish pizza! My husband and I also shared the following: cinnamon rolls, salted caramel brownie and a white chocolate raspberry bread pudding muffin. All were huge, rich in flavor and very satisfying. I already can't wait to come back again! :)

Because if I need it and it's not there I'll come find you. :) The filling was the best filling I've ever had. The baked portion, too. And I grew up enjoying the bakeries of NYC and the area. What made it so good? It was not a disgustingly sweet, gelatinous blob. It had what I could only call a "natural" style filling. Not gelatinous. Not super sweet. One bite and you'll know that this is the way it's really supposed to be. It will ruin your enjoyment of all other blueberry danishes. Like I said, don't order one. :) Bon appétit.
