Favorite local coffee joint in Durango! Solid coffees, eclectic decor, patio seating in the street for 'rona times, friendly and fast service. Been here to study, been here on dates, been here alone to enjoy a quiet morning - all have been great. Outlets are available for students/remote workers. They're one of the last coffee shops open in town (~8pm but check to be certain) which is still way too early in my opinion, but one can only hope they will soon stay open later since they're the best! read more

This place has the best vibes. Spacious and cozy at the same time. Sturdy wooden and leather furniture with fun vintage energy. My mocha is perfect. Coffee is made to perfection. My wife and I both tried the draft coffee which was currently lavender and honey. It was was smooth, delicious, and had a punch of caffeine. At the recommendation of a friend, I think I came here for coffee every day of my stay in Durango. Mostly a latte guy, I did plain ones, which were tasty and, most importantly, served at a temperature that I could drink right away (which I love) as well as the ginger maple (with bits of ginger at the bottom, nice strong flavor without being overpowering or too sweet) and the Borgea (mocha with orange flavor, also tasty). But most importantly, the coffee is good - rich without being bitter, not too acid-y, etc. Staff are friendly, and the place has a cool vibe, although the randomized seating is a little weird sometimes, I've never sat in old upholstered theater seats to drink my coffee before. I would be a very frequent customer if I lived in Durango. read more

Great atmosphere especially travelling with kids, they were able to grab a book and sit and read while we recharged and enjoyed a cold cup of coffee. After hiking most of the day, hot coffee wasn't on the agenda. The barista was very helpful and accommodating - after describing that I wanted a cold coffee with some milk but not anywhere near the amount of milk of a latte he expertly crafted an iced version of a cortado. We found this shop on a trip one morning and loved it so much we came back the next day! Such fun vibes! Loved the draft latte, Americano was delicious, pretty decent mocha. Loveddddd their muffins (especially the pumpkin). We sat outside with our dog in the street/patio area they have set up. Other reviews have mentioned slow service, but considering there's only been two people behind the counter when I've been here and one of them is trying to hustle with the register and make orders, I know they are trying to get everyone served. This is my favorite coffee shop in town. They really care about the quality of their food and drinks. There are great gluten free options for treats and dairy free options for drinks. They just started selling some salads and sandwiches, and the salad is amazing! Though not cheap, you get what you pay for. It's full of so many good veggies, not just bunny food. Their chai lattes are also phenomenal and the chai is homemade. Such attention to detail, and a super cool staff. You'll be friends with the baristas in no time! Lastly, the vibe is unmatched by any other coffee shop in town. Only made one visit here. The barrista working on the particular day I went was moving slow and the overall service was VERY slow. Helped regulars who came in after me far before she even started making my drinks. Drinks themselves were not bad! But I would not recommend ordering food. Durango Coffee Company is the ideal environment for getting work done. They offer beautiful decor, lots of comfy seating, and excellent locally-roasted coffee to fuel work or study sessions. Their cold brew in particular was delicious -- probably the best in town. And to top it all off, their WiFi is incredibly fast. I did a speed test while there and showed download speeds of nearly 200 mbps, which is unheard of for a coffee shop. I'll definitely be back! In the meantime, I'm enjoying bags of their coffee we brought home, which have proven just as delicious as the coffee served in-store. read more

People were very friendly here and welcoming. The inside was rustic and western but not over done like my grandmothers house. It was hip and cool with great apparel and even better coffee. This place has it all. Great tasting espresso with competent baristas. Ben and Becca are just incredible creating true art on top but especially within. This is what lattes should always taste like. absolutely obsessed with the vibes in this coffee shop. there was plenty of room to sit around and do work, and plenty of mismatched chairs to sit on. i had a cinnamon latte with oat milk which was the best coffee i've had in a while. my friends got iced chai and iced tea, and both of those were delicious as well. i honestly wish i lived closer so i could come here more often read more
