During a visit to Durango, I found Durango Coffee Co. I tried the Orange Matcha and the Caramel Borjia and both were amazing. Service was friendly and helpful with the selections. The atmosphere here is soooo relaxing with more of a home vibe. They take pride in the presentation all the way down to the handwriting on the cup. If you are in Durango this is a must stop for coffee.

In town for 24 hours and wanted to find some really good coffee. I checked Yelp, saw the reviews, and decided to give this place a try. It was pretty crowded, and I can see why. The service was amazing and the staff was very friendly. The vibe was great with plenty of seating, tables, couches, and just an overall perfect setup to hang out or relax. Street parking is available, and there are lots of great food options nearby on the strip. I ordered a caramel latte with oat milk and it was perfect. I highly recommend stopping here if you're looking for an awesome coffee shop.

I really wanted to like Durango Coffee Company because of their cute atmosphere, but unfortunately, the chai was the worst I've ever had. It was incredibly watery and overwhelmingly spiced -- like a cinnamon bomb with no balance of flavor. I gave it a second chance with another sip, but it was honestly undrinkable and ended up in the trash. I can't speak for the rest of their menu, and the staff was friendly enough, but if you're a chai lover, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Stopped in here for a little caffeine! The cafe is so cute and cozy! They have variety of drinks and the staff were friendly. I ordered a honey latte and added cinnamon. It was delicious and exactly what I needed as we strolled around the shops!

If I ever opened a coffeeshop, this is exactly what I would want it to look like. The ambiance is welcoming, and the decor makes you feel like you're in a friend's extended living room. If I needed to get away for a couple hours to work, this is the place I'd pick in Durango. We ordered an iced orange mocha and a homemade strawberry pop tart, though I wanted to order one of everything in the case. The orange mocha was just sweet enough, with a strong espresso flavor cutting through, which is just as I like it. And my kids loved the strawberry pop tart so much, they wanted to buy them all. lol

Spacious coffee shop with options for couch and table seating. They have a seasonal drink menu which seemed ready for fall. My husband had the pistachio latte which was really good, and I had a London fog which felt cozy and warm. The pastries were a bit on the disappointing side - we had the pumpkin and blueberry muffins and the homemade strawberry poptart. The muffins were okay - not bad but not something I would necessarily order again. The poptart was a bit better but the icing on the outside was just a tad too sweet for my preference. Recommend coming here for coffee/tea drinks.

I had a fantastic lavender Irish cream breve latte from Durango CC, and the vibes inside are fantastic - the best of any coffee shop I'd encountered in Durango I would say! They had lots of pastries and an expansive menu with several syrup flavors too (hence the lavender and Irish cream - it was a GREAT combo). They also have a cool underground bathroom (I think ?shared with another store), and they had general Colorado merchandise for sale too. There were tons of tables, it's a nice place to sit and linger. The staff are pretty fast too. No complaints!

First the coffee is excellent! A spacious yet cozy coffee shop serving not only the many coffee drinks one would see at Starbucks but also pastries, muffins and some pre made sandwiches made in house. Unfortunately they were out of sandwiches the morning I visited so I ordered the zucchini chili mini quiche and my husband ordered the zucchini sausage mini quiche and then went back for a pumpkin muffin. Both were flavorful and tasty. The shop also has a small gift shop inside. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome. We stop here anytime we go through Durango!

This has been my favorite coffee spot in D town for more than 20 years, both when living here and just passing through. We were in town recently and stopped in a couple times over the weekend. What do I like? Their roasts are always on point, great taste and a good kick on its own. This time, I enjoyed a potent, tasty nitro cold brew and another the next visit. Every cup came out just right in a welcoming and chill atmosphere with friendly coffee hounds and locals. Five stars for great coffee and vibes.

This is a delightfully cozy and cute coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Durango! I stopped by here twice - the first time I ordered the iced cardamom rose latte with coconut milk, which was one of their specials. This is by far the BEST latte I've had in a while, as it had the perfect notes of both flavors. However the second time I stopped by I ordered the iced pistachio latte with coconut milk, which was a bit disappointing. However, the baristas were very friendly, which really set the tone of my visit here and the overall vibe of the cafe.

Cute downtown place with decent coffee! This spacious coffee shop was very busy when we came in on an October morning. I got a mocha which was good but nothing super special. My husband got a pourover and they kind of made a big deal about it and it took forever, ended up pretty over-extracted. Overall the coffee was good but the place was cute! Had some local goods for purchase too which was nice.

Excellent cappuccino in a hopping town location. Good selection of pastries and sandwiches. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Inside and outside seating areas. Ambience was great. Parking on the street requires paying, as everywhere else downtown Durango, as far as I noticed. It is worth the small price for parking. Definitely recommend this coffee shop. We stayed in Durango 5 days and went here every day (sometimes more than once). This is the cutest , most festive coffee shop. The employees were so friendly and their coffee , lattes and mochas were excellent. My teen had a homemade pop tart every day. We wanted every adorable thing in their gift shop! I hope I make it back to this place!!! read more

0/5 stars. The workers were beyond rude from the moment they arrived. They openly mocked us, making the entire experience uncomfortable. To make matters worse, they got visibly irritated when we didn't leave a tip, as if that was expected despite their terrible behavior. I'm always kind and respectful, but I've never been treated so disrespectfully or made to feel like an idiot. Absolutely unacceptable service, and I won't be using them again read more

You can't go wrong with any of their coffee. I had the maple ginger latte; so yummy!! Looks to be pet friendly. You can shop for reasonably priced kitsch, or just chill on a cushy couch while waiting for your coffee. read more

Two coffee shops right next to each other, this is the one you want. Very good coffee, multiple roasts each well done, usually a fan of the light roast of the day, the Ethiopian is always good. Yummy baked goods, even good gluten free muffins. Great atmosphere and friendly staff! My goto coffee in downtown Durango. read more

My wife and I ordered a regular and decaf coffee about 4:30 pm...the lady behind the counter was very nice and told us they were out of decaf but would brew another batch if we would wait. Since we were traveling and really wanted to try their coffee my wife said she would wait. As she was starting a new brew, some guy behind the counter who was chomping a toothpick told her "dont brew any coffee and just tell her we are out"...right in front of us. They ended up pouring the last bit from the thermous and topping it off with hot water. The lady was gracious, but the dude was just rude. Last time I stop there and we come through here occasionally. Oh yeah my wife said the bottom of the barrel left over coffee was bitter and she threw it out and got some tea at the hotel. read more

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Durango. The staff are all very friendly and there is plenty of seating inside. In addition to coffee and other drinks, there is a nice selection of pastries from Serious Delights, sandwiches, and other food. Give it a try, you won't regret it! read more

This place never disappoints! This is one of the places we always stop at when we're staying in Durango or even just passing through. The prices are great, the customer service is superb, and their tasty muffins are moist and flavorful! We've tried the London fog, mocha, and lattes and all are always delicious. Ordered three drinks: Borgia Latte Maple Ginger Latte Maple Ginger Latte Oatmilk The Borgia was very good. We could taste the orange flavor and the coffee was good. The Maple ginger lattes were both very weak with any maple or ginger flavor. So weak that we think they forgot the flavorings. But as a latte they were good. read more

Delicious coffee, consistently good. Fun eclectic atmosphere, dog friendly sitting out front. The employees are all very nice, helpful and accommodating about a nut allergy. They were open on Thanksgiving and we were "thankful" for it. They were very busy but handled it very well. I had a ricotta chocolate gluten free scone and it was good. read more

Cool building. Fun decor. Slow service and the coffee wasn't great. Also, they only have cow, coconut and hemp milk. No almond or oat. Unimpressive other than the actual building itself. Plus...it took forever to get my cold brew, which turned out to just be an iced americano because I was tired of waiting. Much better alternatives in town. 81301 is awesome. Great stop for coffee. We were on our way to Mesa Verde but wish we could have hung around, lots of cozy nooks and chairs for enjoying your treat. Even outside on the street! Gift shop too with local wares. Great spot in Durango. read more

Both my husband and my coffee (mine was a decaf Americano) we're very good, but the star of the trip to this coffee shop what were the gluten-free muffins. I tried both the chocolate and pumpkin gluten-free muffins and they were incredible! The pumpkin muffin was so good that I went back the next morning for another one for my drive back to Denver! read more

Favorite local coffee joint in Durango! Solid coffees, eclectic decor, patio seating in the street for 'rona times, friendly and fast service. Been here to study, been here on dates, been here alone to enjoy a quiet morning - all have been great. Outlets are available for students/remote workers. They're one of the last coffee shops open in town (~8pm but check to be certain) which is still way too early in my opinion, but one can only hope they will soon stay open later since they're the best! read more

We moved to the four corners region during covid. On our first visit to Durango, Colorado we stopped in a chocolate/coffee shop where I discovered Dessert Sun coffee. Blew my mind and taste buds. Thankfully, we came across Carver Brewing Co. and were happy to see it open. They offer a great variety of local beers, including options to take some to go. We tried the Double IPA and the Hazy--both were delicious. They also have wine and mimosas available if beer isn't your thing. Bo (or Beau) was our bartender and truly made the experience. I absolutely love Durango Coffee Company! And I don't even drink coffee. They offer a great variety of delicious baked goods and Italian sodas made in-house.
